>US HAD TO INCINERATE JAPANESE MEN, WOMEN, CHILDREN, BABIES, PETS - TWICE - BECAUSE AMERICAN SOLDIERS WOULD HAVE DIED OTHERWISE...
Say the US just marches into Russia. Sinking ships left and right, missiles knock out base after base. Shooting down transport planes and vehicles as they approach.
How far would the US have to get before Russia decides to launch nukes? Because I can honestly see the rest of the world just telling them to roll over and not be "selfish" to risk an Armageddon just because their military is being destroyed.
Did you have a point, or were you just trying to prove that frogposters are still retarded?
>>33787401
The point is for you to try to answer the question if you have any expertise. Or you could just troll...
The russians know they'd get destroyed conventionally. Use of tactical nukes for 'de-escalation' is an official part of russian doctrine for an existential threat.

I love the Stainless+Wood Aesthetic.
My USP love the way it looks and shoots
Looking to get my first rifle that isn't a .22. Mostly just have shotguns. Anyway I'm strongly looking at the vz58 from czechpoint and was wanting to maybe get some advice on here about which one to get.
They have a few different versions, including one with beechwood furniture. However it says it has drilled and tapped side holes for 'do it yourself' optic mounting. How difficult is that to do and what does it entail? Can I have a gunsmith do it?
I heard the hanguard can get hot on the VZ58, would having wood furniture help with that over all metal like on the tactical version?
Do you think going with the tactical/elite is a better way than just going with like the ergonomic version?
Thanks for any input
https://www.czechpoint-usa.com/sa-vz58-rifles
If you really think you're gonna mount an optic, get the one that's already outfitted for it. Save yourself the trip to the gunsmith, those guys aren't cheap. Either way you go, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Vz58s are great and I love mine more than anything.
Why didn't you put this in /AKG/? I'm sure some anons would help you there
>>33786942
Its not an ak.
>been thinking about how home defense would logically go down
>thinking about possible entrance points if someone was trying to break in
>realize that pretty much the only way they're getting in is right next to the bookshelf
>mfw I realize that the possibility of blowing the fuck out of my book collection is very real if someone breaks in
I mean it's not like it's anything super special but it's still going to suck.
What would be behind your target if someone broke into your home /k/? Would you hesitate? Would you even know what is there before you pulled the trigger?
>>33786873
I'm in the middle floor of an apartment, so no matter where I shoot, I have to assume there's something with a person behind it, kinda sucks. My HD round is 5.56 Vmax though, loses stability and velocity quickly when it hits something, so my hope is any misses will tumble enough that they won't be lethal after passing through a few walls.
>>33787157
Hey, I live in a middle apartment too but my home defense is a .40 so I may as well throw my gun at an intruder. At least it's a sig and that heavy bitch will do some damage.
I'm in a densely packed apartment building, and the only entrance to my apartment is in between my room and a family with small children who live across from me.
Needless to say, I use 5.56 for my HD weapon, and I intend to mag dump.
So I was looking at the layout of my house and trying to come up with a decent home defense plan, but I just realized a major flaw - I live on property that is immediately downstream of a major levee system that holds the local reservoir. If a home invasion attacker decided to hit and breach the dam before attacking my house, I'd be pinned in my house in at least fifteen feet of water, if my house doesn't get washed away in the dam failure. Is there any sort of mitigation strategy to this? Staging a sandbag barrier ahead of time, or building some sort of personal home levee? Is there any way to volunteer to help keep the local dam secure from potential robbers/home invaders?
>>33786336
just use a wet vac dude
>>33786363
...I doubt a wet vac can drain out floodwater? If you're thinking I should get a pump, I have a small sump pump but I don't know if that would keep up with a dam failure's floodwater.
>>33786336
Breach the dam preemptively. If properly damaged, you could be safe for a couple years until repairs are complete.
Lets see those load outs for your outdoor activities.
What's the revolver OP?
>>33786509
Ruger Vaquero .357
Been thinking of getting a non-modern looking revolver like that. How do you like it?
I'm moving to an area that has no rifle or pistol ranges nearby but does have a very good sporting clays facility. I've shot trap before and enjoyed it but I was using either a borrowed 870 or my own Benelli Nova 28". Neither are really suited for clays. I'm not plannig on shooting competitively and I'm still pretty shitty at the sport so I don't want to spend more than $1000.
I've no problem with buying used, in fact it would be great if I can get something old enough to buy with my C&R FFL. I would prefer an over under.
>>33786198
I'd look at a CZ over/under. If I ever got another shotgun that wasn't specifically for home defense, that's what I'd get. You can get a new one for like ~$625-650 I think.
If you can snag an old Remington 1100 from like 1990 or prior that'd be sweet too.
>>33787374
I was seriously considering the CZ O/U's but I did some googling and it looked like they are made in Turkey by Huglu, and CZ just markets them.
The conclusion was they are very hit and miss, decent build quality but very spotty quality control. I guess I could find a good one but that worried me.
>>33787374
Stay away from any nib o/u less than $1k. I work at a trap range and those are usually shit.
>>33786198
Either a used citori or save up for a Beretta a400 xcel if you are willing. If you are sticking to your budget strictly, anything in the benelli/Beretta family or a Browning will do
About to buy a cx4 storm with my tax refund, convince me not to
They're ugly as fuck, like, so ugly I would be embarrassed to take it to a range with people around ugly.
They're actually alright to shoot, and perfect for those tards who are all about 'MUH INTERCHANGEABLE MAGS.'
I wouldn't want one, but hey, I'm not you.
>>33786095
well, you'll probably get as much fun out of a hi point carbine, but you'll pay as much to ship it as you payed for it when it inevitably breaks

the colt woodsman is a hella underrated handgun. Anyone agree?
>>33785984
Yes, but I like the old pencil barrel better.
>>33785984
I don't think it's underrated at all. It's pretty damned well established to be a great piece.
>>33786041
Me too, but god I would do some unnholy things for a mint target grade woodsman

I decided to show my father's friend my new gun, which is a Walther P99ASc.
The guy immediately tells me that he owns a Colt 1911 and that the Colt 1911 is the best gun in the world and every single gun that came after it is a copy of it and that .45cal is literally the most powerful semi-auto round there is, even stronger than 10mm and .50AE.
He was being dead serious and he kept telling me that my little 9mm bullets will just go straight through someone where his .45 shots can easily blow an arm off or knock someone down.
I just kinda stood there trying not to laugh and speechless.
How the fuck do you argue against people like this?

Let them shoot your .50AE
You do have a .50AE, don't you?
>>33785620
.45acp with the right load can be more powerful than factory 50ae
>>33785620
>How the fuck do you argue against people like this?
He's basically right 9x19 is shit
Trougle is 45 gets easily stopped by vests.
Tell him the internet said you were both morons and you should both go and by a nice .357 five inch revolver and shoot some nice to shoot .38 to get used to them and then buttfuck each other.
When you both grow up you can but a 44 mag.
Still a 45 1911 is a way nicer gun than any plastic striker fired 9x19 gun even if it is a walther
What the fuck is this gun called and how do I acquire one. Anywhere that sells the parts?
For the longest time I was under the impression this is the ak74u. But there's so many damn modifications and variants. I want the name of this exact model.
minus the rail flashlight and optical
That looks like a custom build. Only Bulgarians have a factory milled krink.
The handguards are too short to be a typical krink, or even an onyx for that matter.
My guess that's a home/custom job.

Also, Air Force and choose a cushy POG job that deploys to nice places but isn't difficult.
Or, if you want good career options and have a ~70 electronics on the ASVAB go for an avionics career (2Axxx(x))
I recommend 2A01K if you can sign a contract to get it guaranteed. It is in demand, is a cushy avionics backshop job, not too hard but provides for great opportunities post-service, and it's got a relatively short tech school compared to its sister shred outs (2A01P and 2A01M)
Also I hear Operations Intel is perfect for 4chan types
What kind of carry ammo are poorfags supposed to use?

Just buy the cheap stuff most of us consider plinking ammo. At the end of the day it's still a bullet that will wreck someone's shit up.
Buy a Mak and as much 9x18 as you can.
