Who is else is interested about this?

civilian semi-auto MP5 in 9mm!

Only a matter of time before there is a Sig Brace available for it and we can be true sealteam operators.
I know there's a contingent of HK haters around here but there are some HK fags too.
What do you guys think?
I think its about god damn time since they already marketed that retarded 22lr version a long time ago.
who the fuck wants a 22lr MP5 ?

What accessories could there be eventually?
Suppressor?
Sig Brace?
Surplus trigger packs with full auto mode?
would they be compatible?
I don't know shit about these things obviously

MSRP is around $2500 jew marks.
if i was to buy any one single 'frivolous' gun purchase, this might be it

where's the HK 41s and P7s
>>
Who cares? The Turkshit clones are functionally identical, nearly $1K cheaper and have been around for like 4 years. All you're paying for here are the HK roll marks.
>>
>>33791349
>$2500
I think HK pattern weapons are sexy and all, AND the MP5 has always been a favorite of mine, but no way on hell am I paying that kind of money for a neutered clone like that.

Hell, I'd be more inclined to spend that kind of money if they released a semi auto MP5A2 clone with a fixed faux suppressor to make it legal length. But even then I'd be hesitant when I know I could buy an MPX, brace and decent optic for $2500...

I should probably post this on /an/ but you guys might have better ideas on this, would a Komodo dragon be able to bite through chain mail? I want to troll these giant lizards into biting my legs and having autistic shitfits because they can't kill me

DO IT FAGGOT

i'm guessing the crushing pressure on those jaws is enough to break your bones even with chain mail

and why would the lizard stop at biting your leg ? it would crawl up your bod and claw your face
>>
this is more of a /tg question
>>
>>33791182

Nope. Apparently, a komodo dragon bites with less force than even a cat
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/04/080418-komodo-dragons.html

If OP doesn't get bit where he isn't wearing chainmail, he should actually be fine.

It's still retarded and dangerous, of course, but he should be fine

How did he survive the jews and the west for so long?
Even if he dies in 3 minutes, its 6 years overdue.
Even without the Russians swooping in, 2015 was also overdue.

Because hes a figurehead. The public is far less likely to be behind an intervention to stop (whichever no-name general/politician that doesn't even have a Wikipedia page) that steps up to replace him than they are to back a mission to halt the war crimes of the ultimate evil Hitler reincarnation ASSAD THE BABY GASSER. Its politically useful to have a familiar face to pin the slander on.

Is it just me or have firearms designs gotten really stale lately? Most new guns just seem to combine desirable feature that already exist. Are recent cased ammo firearms as good as their gonna get until replaced by ceaseless or direct energy weapons?

Yes, small arms designs have peaked, it's gotten so bad that budget pistols for 300 usd are just as good as guns for 800 dollars.

But then again, for us consumers that's a good thing.
>>
Modern handguns have peaked since the Glock entered the scene. Everything of note that's come after has been a variation/clone/interpretation of it with this or that feature with few exceptions. At least Kahr came out with single stacked Glocks before it was cool.

My fucking kingdom for a subcompact 10mm. The Glock 29 is close but it's Xbox heug.

Texas Law Shield/US Law Shield is my legal 'insurance'. They're less than half the cost of USCCA, have the same protections, and their email newsletters are actually informative. I've even made use of their legal hotline, much better than seeking legal advice on a Bhutanese fly-fishing board.

is it true Germany could have BTFO'd the USA in a one-on-one fight, or was it possible for us to beat the Germans without the Soviet Union?

Let's think about that one a second
>>
>>33790415
Even without nukes, US industry and manpower would still be stronger than Germany.
>>
>>33790437
Not to mention how outrageously BTFO the Germans would be trying to stretch a supply line across the Atlantic. They could probably hold out on the defense, but they would have a hard as fuck time pushing even across the channel, to say nothing of threatening mainland US

Pretty sure you can't self-bump anymore.

Now, I'm not recommending you break the law, but I would say that an interesting solution could be to build a semi-auto rifle that could accept the barrel of a common hunting rifle.

>>

Pretty much any mil surplus from the last 20 years will do. The older it gets, the more dubious everything about it gets. So an old mask with a new filter might still have issues. Also keep in mind that you need to think full body protection, not just mask - hood, gloves and so on - for the more dangerous threats.
>>
Any situation that requires a gas mask will be a situation that requires a sealed hazmat suit. It's great that your mom ordered you a $30 surplus mask but the other 90% of your body is fucked.

Gas masks are for dress up. Get a surgical mask for dust/debris. You are not even close to prepared for anything more than that.

Yeah I saw a comparison being made in an article about it being phased out

Sea Sprite is pretty obvious what went wrong: they were old airframes that were simply never going to be able to be properly returned to service, plus they shouldn't have even of got them in the first place but signed the contract when they were originally going to get a much smaller ship with Malaysia

Anyone else have a gun that they want but actually doesn't exist?

Pic related, Vash the Stampede's .45 Long Colt Revolver from Trigun. Only thing I would change would be the addition of .45 ACP like in the Governor

If I had the money, I would pay to have one of these designed and produced, even if I was the only person who wanted one
36 posts and 8 images submitted.
>>
>>33789556
Making it 45 acp would ruin the whole point of that guy
>>
>>33789575
The Governor can fire .45 LC, .410 shells, and .45 ACP, which means the technology exists to retrofit it to this design
>>
>>33789584
You can't retrofit features onto a design that doesn't functionally exist.

Are missile defense systems like THAAD or AEGIS actually effective?
As in, can they stop an attack composed of missiles of comparable cost?

From what I can see, a THAAD instalation like in South Korea costs as much as several thousand missiles, yet can't reliably stop several thousand missile attacks.

>Are missile defense systems like THAAD or AEGIS actually effective?
No, S400/kashtan/etc. are
>>
>>33789471
THAAD has been remarkably effective in it's tests. Also, THAAD isn't for thousands of missiles, it's for those few missiles that might be fired at allied nations, or contain WMDs. THAAD is ABM
>>
>>33789471
There aren't a thousand missiles in the area for it to stop. It'd face a more realistic barrage.
