Hey /k/ here is the deal
>Live in New Jersey
>been living with my parents because 47% of people between the ages of 18-35 live with their parents here cause shit is expensive
>parents are antis so I haven't been able to own a gun
>finally just got a job where I can move out
>will have to apply for an FID which can take months
What antique navy cutlass should I buy? Not to be a sword fag, but it is better than my limp dick waiting for my license to practice a basic fucking human right to come in. I just need a cutlass long enough that I would have a big advantage over someone with a knife but short enough I can use it innaapartment/hall way
>>33812286
Just go to pennsylvania and buy a rifle there.
Autism
>>33812524
>people have to wait sometimes as long as 6 months for an FID in NJ cause the courts give no fucks about upholding the law
>it is autism to want a weapon in the mean time
Why don't you own a high point carbine for home defense?
>10 rounds of 9mm, .40, or .45 on tap plus 2 extra mags on the gun
>so light in recoil your girlfriend or kids can use it
>reliable as hell
>comes with a light and laser
>nice and short
>Is literally a getto blaster piece of shit so you won't care what happens to it if the police take it as evidence
>Is less than like $200 so see above
Idk why I'm not
>>33812206
I, too, have asked myself this question.
First gun I bought with my own money. Fun to shoot and I'm sad I sold it. Migh pick up another if I find one cheap enough now that there are decent extended mags available
Sorry if this is too political. Is there any way I can join a gun rights organization without supporting these guys? I keep thinking of joining but I just can't bring myself to do it.
they just seem so full of shit to me. All they do is jerk off republicans and fucking Reagan who is the second most successful gun grabber in history and is the reason I can't own an M60. They push religious fascism and aren't doing shit about the ridiculous unconstitutional laws in places like CA, NJ, and IL. "just move to another state" is not an acceptable response for anyone who actually gives a shit about gun rights. The 2nd Amendment is not negotiable on a state by state basis.
I understand any gun rights organization is going to lean right. That's fine, but I can only support an organization that speaks for gun rights and gun owners first, and republicans second, not the other way around.
>>33812199
It makes me sad when these guys try to scapegoat video games for mass shootings. I know that they're trying to protect gun rights in theory but it still makes me sad to see them blatantly lie.
>>33812199
GOA
>>33812205
I am going to need a source.
Related to OP's question: I am NRA life member, and no, I don't support everything they've done in the past, but they're still the biggest dog in the fight. Also, GOA life member and I love their stance. Don't forget to join a state organization too.
Say, I was recently given this dagger and have no knowledge of them whatsoever. Then I remembered /k/ existed.
Any clue what I've got here?
Other side.
>>33812177
Looks like a jambiya (jam-bee-yah). When daggers were common, they were easily found in turkey, Iraq, and other parts of the Arabian peninsula. They were also commonly carried by Kurds
>>33812273
Huh. Neat. I'm guessing this one is pretty new. The blade is dull and some of the color has worn of to silver in small areas.
Now I just have to find someone to read the script. Think I know a guy for that.
Sharing my EDC kit. It's part of my larger Get Home Bag, but if I have to take a lot of shit or a laptop, this kit is what I throw in there from the GHB.
The pouch seems very good made for the money. It was fucking cheap with free shipping even.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/371802764697
That RATS is actually fake. Even the genuine RATS are pure shite, but I added it anyway since it filled out the left over space nicely, and it migh still work. I've got a genuine CAT G7 in my GHB.
Forgot to mention clearly that I add this kit to my regular daily use backpack instead of carrying my GHB in addition to my backpack. It's got the essentials basically. Nothing medical though.
Can someone confirm what kind of sword this is. My friend got it from his now dead granpda and wonders greatly. Im from norway if that helps

Mornin', /k/ !
Time for another episode of gun show lemons. In today's episode, I'd like to showcase my Mossberg 395k shotgun. After tinkering around with it for a while I've given up on it and have decided that I need to seek a higher power in order to resolve the issue.
Now, I only paid $100 for the shotgun so I'm not too upset, but there's a problem with it that irks me enough that I just need to get to the bottom of it once and for all.
You see, the problem has to do with the feeding of the shells into the chamber. As you may already know, these bolt action shotguns come with a 2 round assault clip. The problem only occurs with 2-3/4" shells, and only when there are 2 rounds in the magazine.
In this picture here, there are 2 rounds in the magazine. Everything seems to be ok at first, but soon things will go terribly wrong.
>eyesight getting worse
>can't shoot for shit at 50m with irons
>can hit the target but shots are all over the place
>will be scheduling an appointment with ophthalmologist soon
>probably will be wearing glasses
I dread them. Any /k/ommandos shooting with glasses? How is it?
Also, /k/ feels thread I guess.
Cry me a fucking river. I've worn glasses since age 10.
It's no big deal. Buy them cheap and plentiful online or use contacts if you can.
There are special forces operators out there who wear contacts. (See 13 Hours).
With my glasses I routinely get 2" groups at 100m with irons on my M14. It's not the end of the world.
>>33811162
Nearsighted fag here, I've worn glasses all my life and can't imagine life without them. You'll be okay anon, have you considered corrective laser surgery?
In Army, wear glasses. Get a sexy pair for day-to-day and another big ass frame for shooting. I hate it when I'm shooting and non-corrosive vision blues the target.
would an infantry sized ERA work on infantry?
>>33811064
Why don't you go test it for yourself, idiot.
I don't see why not.
>>33811078
i said small sized like small capsules of no more then 5gr of explosives
What went wrong?
>>33811033
Truthfully if Bushmaster hadn't mucked it up, this would be the greatest rifle ever.
The whole combi-gun concept is kind of flawed, but the insistence on it being semi auto is what really killed it. As the chinks and dogeaters have shown, the design is workable when bolt action and as time goes on the optic packages are only going to get smaller. In the end, we got the XM25 so it wasn't all bad, the Asians have a far wider distribution across squads but America gets a couple per platoon that can fire multiple rounds in quick succession. Swings and roundabouts I guess.
military asking for unreasonable things, just like last time
>we want 60 rounds of flechettes and a 3-round semi auto grenade launch
>under 10lb
out of all the professional sports, which would operate operationally, operating?
Cross country running or 3 gun. Dont know if you can do those professionally though.
I just watch sports to jerk off. No other reason to keep tabs on sports, unless you are trying to make buddy buddy with boomer co-workers
>>33810949
Is there even a choice?
Biathlon is the ultimate operator sport
Can we get a riot gear/modern day armor thread
>>33810862
With the legs refined for better mobility, and having some light metal plates covering the padding, this is the armor worn by someone that knocks over cans.
>if only it could have been adopted for military use
>>33810862
Butt padding?
Out of curiosity /k/ what's the most legal obrez (shortened mosin) possible? I'm aware of the 14in rule for rifles just wonderin'. I live in the US so discussion of state laws would be nice.
As long as the barrel length is over 16 inches and the overall length is over 26 inches you are fine, anything shorter than that is a sbr.
>>33810843
If you remove stock doesnt it become a pistol?
>>33811776
>1776 get
no, unfortunanly if it is a rifle, it must stay a rifle. if you want to shorten the barrel past 16in you must submit n nfa form....
weve had a million threads about this over the past, what, decade now?
if you want an SBR from an item currently labled a rifle, you must do paperwork.
or just be totally illegal and hope you never get caught.
They are giving it away next month.
Anyone planing to donate a dollar to enter the raffle?
>>33810500
>Anyone planing to donate a dollar to enter the raffle?
No I'm not planning on gambling to fund people who already make probably $8000 a month
So are they gay or what
I would but they can't ship it to Canada.
