I'm guessing so he can keep an eye on their flanks while he's not bearing ammo?
Does any US civilian population have the capability to overwhelm the military and secede? Let's say the Hispanic population of the Southwest rose up and attempted to establish a state of Aztlán. From a military angle, what would happen in this situation?

What was your first firearm?
Here's my G19
First shotgun and firearm was a winchester 1300 I bought from a gun show for 185 dollars
First rifle was an Anderson ar15 from a gun show once again
I have a yugo ak but I'm going to trade it for a glock 17 gen 4 with extra shit, as my first handgun.
My first gun was a Mosin Nagant I paid a $100 for. I was 18 and my dad had given me the money to buy shoes. When I called him to tell him, at first he was mad that I didn't buy shoes, then he sighed and asked what caliber it was. He wasn't too mad.
First handgun was a S&W 642 when I was 21. My dad bought it off me a month ago so I could free up the cash to buy a Glock 43 for carry.

But shoes are important Anon.

Can someone tell me why AR 15 rifles are so popular? Because I finally got to mess with one yesterday and it was the biggest honest to Christ piece of hot dogshit I've ever fired.
The box it came in was labeled 'Dpms panther arms' if that makes a difference. But the flaws were numerous, pathetic and absolutely absurd.
>charging handle in the absolute backend of rifle...can not chamber round while shouldering weapon...no proper handle and a lock mechanism on the left hand side of it...the fucking hell is wrong with this piece of garbage? Worst charging handle ever experienced.
>magazine loading had zero click or lock when inserting...just kinda mushy. Ya slapped it in and it was ready but with no Indication the mag was seated at all...mushy garbage. Are all ar 15 this awful?
>mag seated and pulled the charging handle back to chamber a round...and click no bang..WHAT THE FUCK? After trying fucking everything including reseating the mag, ejecting round ect...turn out there's a switch on the LEFT FUCKING SIDE that needed to be pressed to fire! What unholy bullsgit is this horseshit and why would anyone tolerate such madness?
>speaking of weird shitty controls, what kind of dumbass Fucker decided to put the controls on different sides of the fucking gun? AK and SKS do not have this retarded design why does this piece of rancid failure?
>Speaking of AK and sks despite shooting a larger caliber the AR 15 had the same fucking recoil...because it was an unnecessarily lightweight fucking plastic toy?
>Speaking of lightweight plastic the buttstock of an AK or sks will beat someone to death...the buttstock of the AR won't do shit but break like the cheap worthless shit it is.
to be continued...
BREAKING NEWS: Random anon has different tastes. More at 11.
The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don't know what you're doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.

you are correct. in every way..
Hello /k/, /his/ told me to come here
So apparently this is my great-great grandfather's ceremonial officer sword, late 1800s. What type of sword is this? Is it based on some older types of European swords? Thanks

What does "dealer" mean in the context of this page? https://www.nraila.org/gun-laws/state-gun-laws
Sometimes it says "licensed dealer" but in some cases it just says "dealer." When it just says "dealer", does it refer to anyone selling a gun even in a private sale, or only FFL dealers?
Take Washington (state) for example. A "dealer" is not allowed to sell a pistol unless the purchaser has a license or undergoes a background check.
Another state for which it uses vague wording is Minnesota. A handgun or "assault weapon" can be sold by a "dealer" only if the purchaser has a permit or has filed a transfer report.
In these situations, do these requirements apply to private sales, or only FFL sales?
dealer means selling gun as primary source of income and has the appropriate FFL license..
according to ATF at least.
>>33817650
Okay, thanks. So in the examples above, if I'm buying from a private seller, the licenses and transfer reports and such are unnecessary?
>>33817835
It depends on the state. In washington you must find a FFL to facilitate the transfer. In minnesota there is no such requirement but since there you can be held responsible if someone who was ineligible to purchase your gun buys it and uses it to commit a felony within a year of the purchase, some prefer to pay to get a FFL to do it anyway.

>They're actually correct with most of their information
>Mallninjas are nowhere to be seen
>Table selling a SPAS-12 for $1100, an original Colt Sporter II(the A1/A2 parts mix gun) for $1000 and an HK91 with original box, manual, magazines and paperwork for $2000
>They allow me to fingerfuck all three without any hassle
>No ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT from stun guns or tasers
>Police trade in Ruger Mini-14 GBs for $500 and Police trade in 870s for $250
>Worst thing I saw was a ripped PBF gas mask for $50 and a set of Israeli 40mm gas mask filters for $30 each
Are the things /k/ says about gun shows a meme or did I just get lucky?
>>33816598
Look, gun shows are like any flea market - very hit-and-miss. A lot of the tables will have nothing of interest. Sometimes you'll go to a show and not find a thing worth buying all day. Sometimes you'll go to five shows in a row and never find anything interesting. But if you're patient and know what you're looking for, you can sometimes get awesome deals or find stuff that's hard to find anywhere else. It all depends.
The problem with /k/ is that a lot of them don't have any patience. They went to one show, didn't find what they were looking for, and wrote off the whole experience. All the better for us who do know how to slowly stalk prey.
>>33816598
At my local one, there's the bad:
> a ton of annoying raffles
>a vendor that keeps doing really fucking loud turkey call demonstrations
>You've got your nazi stuff guy, with an iron cross shirt that's not selling anything
>Smelly rude fuds
>No tazers because NY
>$500 regular mosins
>Airsoft guy
>Chink knives guy
>Flag guy, with Chink flags that cost him $3.00, but he wants $20.00 for
The good:
>Parts guy with nothing but trays and trays of parts. Upgrades, replacements...
>Magazine guy, with nothing but magazines (the bullet holding kind)
>Ammo guy, with lots of ammo at reasonable prices
