Alright /k/, I have a dillema. I have this old .32 hand ejector, clearly it's seen better days. The nickel finish is almost gone, the hammer block spring is broken off, and it's out of time. End shake isn't that bad though.
I have a source for the parts, but I don't know if it's worth the $200 to have it re-finished in nickel. Would it be sacrelige to, dare I say, duracoat it in dura-blue?

You could get it sand blasted and reblued. Yes dura coat is sac relig. It's worth 200 bucks if you want to have it working again, it's not like 200$ is that much compared to a new revolver. Post pics if you end up refinishing it

I just automatically hate the looks of tomahawks that have a spike instead of a hammer. I just don't see the point of a spike when you got the blade already. A lot of them have such small heads it just looks way less effective than using the head part, then you lose the hammer which is surprisingly underrated since smashing shit isn't really seen as romantically unless it's done by something really big or powerful plus it just seems kind of handy.

What do you guys think about the French Foreign Legion? Does anyone here have any experience with them/are one? I am really debating trying to join. The only thing holding me back is money. I need to pay $200 for a passport/A shitload more for the visa and visa insurance/plane ticket and lodging.
I know there is a high chance of being declined which is why I'm worried about risking it all. I could pay thousands to get there only to be declined for no reason (which happens all the time according to retired Legionnaires I've talked to.) I am doing this as a last ditch effort to change my life. I have nothing else. No ambition besides fighting.
Any advice is very much appreciated

How do you guys think T-64 will compare to western MBT's in competition? My guess is that T-64 might win in maneuvers and speed challenges, not so sure about fire and accuracy. T-64 has actual fire control system compared to T-72 though.
