TFW no plum or drum
Did any 7.62 aks ever come in plum flavor?
One of my American friends mentioned something called an "LTSR", which according to him is like an MRE you can live off indefinitely without starting to shit blood after a month.
We definitely don't have anything like that here, and I haven't been able to find anything on the internet. What's an LTSR? What's in it? Can you really live off of it forever? It sounds insane. Where do you get those?
>>33847331
you can eat an mre indefinitely too.. the gum has laxatives in it and if you chew it you will never get stopped up
>>33847331
Like my patriot foods? Those are long term, more so than an MRE.
But you can go a long time on MRE's, just need plenty of water to keep regular. We used to train with the, 21 days at a time and no one really had any issues besides getting really burnt out on eating pasta for breakfast.
But those 30yr companies have some decent options. Usually you can get them for cheap on sale.
>>33847331
>LTSR
Never heard of it
>Shitting blood from an MRE
This is a le meme. Either that or the internet attracts a lot of weak stomached wussbags. MREs are perfectly able to sustain you, even though they are bland in the taste department
For long term, I have also lived off of RGA meals, which are essentially MRE type foodstuff meals packed in bulk for platoons and needing slightly more preparation by a cook.
Also there are cold weather MREs which require hot water to prepare (as opposed to standard MREs which *can* be eaten cold). Those are tasty, but higher calorie so eating a whole one every sitting is not a great idea.
>TFW You'll never be able to throw a Stielhandgranate M15 into a trench full of Frenchman.

Were soldiers more likely to suffer PTSD in the Middle Ages/Antiquity or in modern times?
On one hand, soldiers of the past didn't have to put up with horribly terrifying things like machine guns and artillery barrages. But on the other hand, personally standing like three feet away from someone else and trying to dodge a giant knife while sticking your own into their guts and spilling them seems pretty bloody and traumatic
I know there's sources from Ancient Greece documenting what we now know as PTSD, but are there any medieval accounts of it that you're familiar with?
>>33847046
>look away for a second
>get crossbow bolt to the face
Probably been terrifying as fuck.
think you'd sleep well after the sort of noises this poor bastard made while he died?
I've studied hema for years. one thing I'm 100% certain of is I never, ever want to die by the sword.
>>33847046
Soldiers back then didn't get the brain injuries caused by 72 hour mortar barrages and incessant machine gun fire. This is a large part of PTSD.
Anyone else think that white collar security uniforms look better than the tacticool shit

Not a raw steak?
I had leftover hibachi from last night.

Your steak must be shit if you're having to conceal the flavors with that much seasoning. A good steak needs only salt.

Well I'm not a fan, but for a space fat it's ok. Try to put a Battlestar Galatica muzzle break on it.
I come to you in great need of the 'tism.
Today I bought an original PPSH-41 converted to semi, but I can't for the life of me find out anything about it, except it was made in 1944.
Does anybody have any idea or somewhere to look it up? I found some stuff, but none of the markings are listed there.
There's a lack of good sources online, like there is for the Nugget.
I already tried http://www.ppsh41.com and found out nothing.
Any help is appreciated.
Before we help you, Tell us where you got such glorious soviet SMG
Here's a some pictures of all the markings I could find.
>>33846708
I got it from the gunstore I work at.
