Is this board just full of fat fucks that LARP rhodesia and shoot guns? Any of you actually army fit and do long distance running, strength and endurance exercises?
if you want to talk about fitness just go to /fit/ or fucking r/fitness. stop posting off topic shit on /k/ just because you want your discussion to be /k/ flavored.

Considering i'm shipping out for basic next week, yeah. But i really don't want to shit up the board with /fit/ tier bullshit. Let's stick to weapons on the weapons board.

>Infiltrate the objective area by parachute (HALO, HAHO, or static lines), helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft, SCUBA, small boat, foot, or other means
there was a e-8 that was the rear d smaj when i first got my unit. had some serious chest candy to include diver and wings. he was former ranger batt and i'm pretty sure he had a sapper tab too. i don't know what his past 20+ years were before he got to the unit were, but i'm pretty sure he was RRD.
>>33896891
Former Batt boy here. Super legit. Selection is thought of as a "Mini-Delta" selection. Shorter and tailored more around the mission but stupid tough.
Had a team leader come back to the line after two years in RRD (prior to it being RRC) and dude was a total stud. Small, wicked smart, unassuming but always a few steps ahead of everyone. Always sounded, from him, like they lived for close target surveillance. Everyone in Batt looked up to hese dudes like they were real life Batman. That was my basic takeaway from watching them when they were around.
Does anyone on /k/ hunt with air rifles? Are there any modern big bore air rifles with detachable magazines? Are there any integrally suppressed air rifles? How does your homeland regulate air rifles? Let's have an airgun thread.

A cheap Gamo Big Cat from Walmart is sufficient for pest control, including chipmunks, squirrels, and woodchucks. ATF says their integrally suppressed brother is not an NFA items, b/c the can is not removable (plus it's just as fucking loud as a regular one anyway). Their utility in the USA is limited entirely to small game and/or compact urban areas. There's nothing they do that, in the US, a regular firearm can't do better. Ammo's cheaper, but given the low cost of a used .22, it'll take a long time before the ammo savings makes up for the higher cost of a decent air rifle.
That being said, if you have an out of control chipmunk and woodchuck population, and neighbors that are <100 yards away on all sides, and are -technically- in a compact urban area, there's nothing better for whittling down the problem.

>Gamo Big Cat from Walmart
Walmart seems to only carry the .177 variant, but .22 would be more ideal for my state's (Pennsylvania) current airgun laws. Would you still recommend buying the Gamo, but online, or is there another Walmart air rifle in .22?
>Air-guns will be legal for small game in calibers from .177 to .22 that propel single-projectile pellets or bullets.
>For woodchucks and furbearers, air-guns must be at least .22 caliber and propel a single-projectile pellet or bullet. BB ammunition is not authorized for small game, furbearers or woodchucks.

here in england the laws are ok.
sub 12ft.lb rifle and sub 6ft.lb pistol is legal for anyone, anything over that needs a F.A.C (firearms certificate)
suppressors are totally fine and from what i've seen, they come fixed on most rifles.
for storage we don't need a gun safe but it is recommended for them to be in a secure place under lock and key, some people use a bike lock and attach it to the radiator pipe.
Scotlands laws are different and i think you need a license and you have to register the gun, but i doubt many people are going to do that.
my plan is to get gud at the range, and try rabbit hunting sometime in the next year.
There's this annoying bird in my neighborhood I'm trying to kill. How legal/sketchy is it to walk around with an air rifle shooting at houses that it lands on? It's not like BBs do anything. I wont stop till this little cunt is dead
Not worth the potential hassle. Depending on how much you sperg out when the cops get there, many things could go wrong. You could be shot and killed, you could be arrested for a lot of stuff, up to and including domestic terrorism (it's a stretch but, it could happen. "He was pointing a RIFLE at all of our houses with our babies inside! I definitely felt terrorized.") Just restrain your autism anon. Bird has just as much a right to live as you.

Hire pest control if it is that big of a deal.
Let some asshole your paying take the risk get shot.

>annoying bird
How annoying? How do you even know there are multiple birds? Birds always make noises when there are other birds.
any videos of american soilders doing shit like this??

also anyother vids like that
>>33896585
No, because most American soldiers and their related CO's believe in not destroying their soldiers' bodies in basic training or "specialized" training - They need to be combat effective, not pieces of fancy propaganda.
Retarded demos? No.
We have commercials for that.
But if you mean hand to hand combat training? Yes. Google it, plenty of videos. You can even find that Delta video with them punching the shit out of each other at one point.

What in the fuck makes an American made AK worth $2,500?
you know the myth status that is built up around the AK? Take away russian AK's from the market and you create the perfect conditions for a $2500 AK.

Glocks, M&Ps, some Sigs, Some FNs and even some HKs are in the same price range. Why. No (you) for you.
What kind of gun parts can you make and sell without an FFL? Is it pretty much just receivers you can't make, or what? I've been looking online and can't find a clear answer for this.
>>33895470
You can make anything that isn't legally considered a firearm, so any part you have to transfer through an FFL is out.
You can make anything up to and including a fully functioning gun as long as it's not full auto and/or you have no intention of selling it. Where the law gets tricky is with the word "intent", and Mr. AFT might try to buttfuck you saying that you intended to sell the gun even if you really didn't
>>33895591
>you have no intention of selling it.
Good reading comprehension, buddy.
