Anyone else is obsessed with fully automatic firearms BECAUSE they are illegal?
To me they are those cool toys that i want despite being inneficent in most ocassions because the goverment doesn't want me to own them.
>>33898257
They're not illegal. Just require some hoop jumping and lots of money
>>33898310
>for public education people yes.
>for private education, they usually don't worry about it since remote gated communities and richness, but for senpai n frens it can get it done quickly and cheaply if the need arises.
>>33898310
To non americans they are illegal.
Can anyone help me date this No4 mk1 lee enfield? there is no date on it and the receiver looks like it was scrubbed or something ill dump pics.
>>33898226
Post the stamp on the stock band under the bolt handle before you post anything else or you are just wasting everyone's time.
Pic related, that's where the date usually is.
hey /k/, I thought of an idea for a trap this morning while waking up. Yes it is retarded, just a heads up.
So the idea is do dig a pit a la punji but instead of sticks you put a couple skunks in there. I guess you could have sticks or something to maim as well if you want.
But the idea is to make the person smell like shit so it is harder to help them and it could also potentially separate people from the squad.
Also, in a STHF scenario, it could help you track someone or just make them slip up more easily from being so miserable.
What does /k/ think?

thinking about getting a beretta cougar for my first true pistol purchase. it'll either be this or a 92 compact. it'll mainly be used for ccw and personal defense. i've shot a few 92 variants and love the platform. the cougar just appeals to me because i don't know anyone that uses one.
>inb4 polymer
i prefer steel frame
>>33897928
beretta couger not made any more ?
>>33898047
no they gave the specs to stoeger and started designing/producing the px4. there's a pawn shop near to me that has one (beretta) that's in good condition for the same price i'd be able to get a 92 compact.
>>33897928
>the cougar just appeals to me because i don't know anyone that uses one.
They're not that reliable and parts availability is slim to none. If you insist on getting a metal frame Beretta, the 92 Compact is the better choice. Technically, the frame is aluminum, not steel.
You're not going to be getting anything of worth by choosing a Cougar over a PX4 Compact or 92 Compact, you'll be left with a gun of questionable reliability, quality and lack of holster options to choose from.
I carry a PX4 Compact Carry and despite its polymer frame, it shoots just as flat if not flatter than my fullsize 9mm pistols. You may want a metal frame pistol until you realize you're going to lug it around for up to 12 hours a day, every day.
>>33897835
What's the diameter?
>>33897835
Far right is 8mm FAMAS.
I found this in Lithuania where some battle happened between the soviets and nazis. The diameter is about 0.7 but i'm going to measure it with calipers
Just curious, It seems that it would make sense to get use to the actual really loud noise your gun makes.
>>33897819
>It seems that it would make sense to completely fuck up an irreparable sensory organ to get used to a situation that might happen happen once in your lifetime if you're very unlucky
>It seems that it would make sense to get use to the actual really loud noise your gun makes.
not really, because the only time your gun is going to be louded than normal is if you need to fire it inside your home or a building, and if you practice with ears off at an indoor range you're just asking for quick and immediate hearing loss.
No, adrenaline will handle that if the time comes.
Let's say I buy this
https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=770&idcategory=86
And the flat receiver and the tools to make it into a usable receiver. Is this an illegal SBR? Because you can just get literally every part shipped to you without an FFL because the receiver isn't a firearm because it's not pressed yet. Just curious.
>>33897597
could get hit with constructive intent if you have the receiver and parts before stamp

The key word there is can. You can but it's unlikely you will.
Hey, /k/omerades. I'm making STL files for stencils to make on my 3D printer, but I need some stencils. So. Stencil thread?
I don't want to ruin the stock by doing an improper repair. How should I repair these? Glue and a clamp?

/k/ommandos I urgently need your opinion!
Its about SKS variants
So I know that the sks meme goes on and on but I would need some honest opinions.
I have a very nice opportunity to buy an original soviet sks OR a yugo m59/66. The yugo sks's are BRAND NEW. Literally.
What should I go for? The soviet sks goes for 350€ and the yugo goes for 488€. Which rifle should have a better accurancy and reliability?
>pic related (sorry for the quality)
And this are the soviet
>pic related
>>33897351
>>33897353
Soviet will be better. Yugos will probably be slightly more accurate as they aren't chrome lined but Russian SKSs are the gold standard.
IMHO Yugos aren't worth nearly that much, untouched or not
>>33897351
yugo will have no chrome lining in the bore and will be built generally tougher, the soviet one with chrome will still probably be more accurate. i'd buy the soviet one even if it were more expensive.
Give me your expert opinion on the new fal
