So /k/, you ever been in a fistfight and/or a brawl?

Eyes, knees, nads and throat.
This one I was at the movies waiting in line to buy tickets and a couple of guys got in front me. They acted like I wasn't there. I got pissed and uhh well I uhh called one of them out. He was smaller, younger, and white so I knew I had a chance, his friend however, didn't match that criteria so I ignored him completely. well anyway I ended punching the white guy in the face and am now pressing charges on his friend for assault.
How do you handle a guy that gets up against you and won't back off?
Just bought my first pistol as an adult and Bc poorfag I got a Taurus PT1911AR, did I waste my money?
>>33971195
>1911
You wasted your money.
>Taurus
You would have been better off with a Hi-Point.
>>33971195
You should have just gotten a Browning Hi power boi
Noguns soon to be a Hasguns here (whenever my PD finishes processing my FID) and I'm looking into buying a quality but cheap shotgun as my first gun.
I've been looking at either a Remington 870 or a Mossberg 500 but I'm open to other suggestions.
Also poorfag and my budget is $450-500.
Also also shotgun thread.
What state you in? :)

I hope you're there against your will.
How much would it take to meme the Hughes Amendment out of existence?
/pol/fags usually run their cock holsters about how they got Trump elected.
Would it be possible for a dedicated group of autists to convince GOP lawmakers to bring back the glory days?
If so, how?
/pol/ hasn't done anything other than convince themselves that they somehow effected the outcome of the US election.
>HEHEHE ME-ME MAGIC HEH
>MEMES THE PRESIDENT INTO OFFICE WE'RE SO COOL THE NEW /b/
The only thing /pol/ did was bring in waves of newfags, mostly from Reddit, that negatively effected the average quality of posts on this site, which was already abysmal to begin with.
Kill yourself

>/pol/ usually runs their cock holsters

if by "meme" you mean "spread awareness and support among the community," then yes, you could theoretically "meme" the Hughes Amendment out of existence. Remember that assault weapons used to be considered by taboo by most gun owners 30 years ago, now they are mainstream in most places. This has made further legislation against them harder to pass. Expand support for NFA items and the same thing will happen.
however, shitposting on here will do little to nothing since you would be preaching to the choir. Get out there and make a difference if you want to see a difference.
>The only thing /pol/ did was bring in waves of newfags, mostly from Reddit, that negatively effected the average quality of posts on this site, which was already abysmal to begin with.
this. /pol/ is for shitters.
well /k/, who would win?
>>33970990
Officers are better at breaking stuff than NCOs, so Collins wins
>>33970990
Nco > co
>be me
>visiting family in bumfuck nowhere
>decide to check out local gun store
>ask to see new generation S&W M&P
>ride slide back slowly when working action to be respectful
>gun store owner grabs gun from hand
>" god damn it boy, you gotta work dem like this!"
>proceeds to violently pull slide back and led it slam forward with a horrible "kachunk" sound
I shudder to think some of the abuse these "brand new" guns have undergone before someone buys them.
>>33970927
If the gun can't take that kind of "abuse" then who the hell would want to trust their life with it. Pistol is fine.
>>33970927
are you okay? maybe you should go lie down
>>33970927
Wow, be careful there, you poor delicate flower. It's almost like you had a machine meant to contain explosions and direct death.

So a while back I was in my school's production of Beauty and the Beast in which I played Gaston. Now, in the opening song Gaston shoots a duck from the air (which is quite an impressive feat with a rifle) and when my director brought out the gun I couldn't put it down. I'm very interested in guns, especially from the world wars, so to get my hands on a Gewehr 98 was just incredible. My director isn't dense, so she noticed my obsession right away. Since it was my last high school play and I was obviously interested in it she gave it to me as a gift.
More pics soon.
that's fucking based. probably won't kill a lot of ducks with it though
So I have a Russia Molot 7.62x39 20.5 inch Vepr rifle and I'd like to make it into a bullpup.
Cbrps has bullpup kits but they're meant to work with aks and a Vepr has a rpk reciever which is .5mm thicker.
It also has a slant cut reciever instead of a square type but there's a conversion for that.
Anther thing is the cleaning rod hole.
Apparently that's needed as well to secure the kit to the gun.
My question is how can I get around not having a cleaning rod hole?
Go home bubba

Not an answer to my question.
Can anyone suggest a good 38 special revolver? I'm thinking of getting one to plink and enjoy (possibly restore) since I bought a Heritage Arms Rough Rider a while back and absolutely love that little firecracker. I bring it to the range every single time i go.
My price range is about $300.
Smith & Wesson Model 15.
>>33970722
If you're willing to spend a bit extra, Colts are very high quality. I got my Official Police on the cheap, but it's still bonkers accurate and as smooth as glass. I love it so much, best $430 I ever spent.
Smith & Wesson Model 10.
Remove the f/a and replace the fixed rear sight with a picatinny rail and you've got the ultimate infantry rifle. There is literally nothing that can beat it.

So seeing how the A2 "upgrade" wasn't good. What should have been done to the A1 to upgrade it?
You don't touch the carrying handle. You don' touch the forward assist. All work should be internal mechanisms. There was a reason it was popular to use salvaged gook guns: shitty reliability.
This is the closes thing to a military board. I have a Navy SEAL friend who sometimes tells me true things and sometimes fucks with me. He told me that no one ever uses knives except as tools, but that people are still trained with them for no real reason. Is this true?
why stabby when you can shooty
>>33970705
Are you sure your friend isn't fucking with you and isn't really a navy seal?
Also jack dies in season 5 of samurai jack
>>33970705
>friend whos a navy seal...
Seems legit.
>knives used for tools..
Yea, stabbing people is a fairly uncommon occurrence in warfare. Yes, they still train people how to do it. Hell, they even go over that kind of stuff in basic hand to hand training manuals(MCMAP for instance).
I'm considering buying a Marlin 60 instead of Ruger 10/22 because the Marlin seem easier to load than the magazines for the Ruger. I don't really care about aftermarket don't plan on buying anything for it except maybe a scope. With the Marlin I won't need to carry magazines either
>>33970657
The Model 60 outshoots a stock Ruger 10/22 easily.

>Preferring tube to detachable mag
Wut
>>33970688
unless I am using speed loader the marlin seems quicker to load
What's your favorite post-war US combat aircraft?
>>33970563
a-7 and a-6
i know which one it isn't
>>33970563
I have always been partial to the F-86 Sabre. For attack aircraft I would have to say the A-4 Skyhawk.

I saw war. You won't. You'll do Marine Expeditionary Units. You'll train for 4 years for a job you'll never do. But hey, welcome to the club.

67 is bad. As in I'm a former Infantry Marine who scored a 96. You need to go get a book from a mall and study.
