Hi /k/ where can I get one of these but chambered in gyrojet?
Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrr
>>33978418
Sure
But you need to find the ammo
Summer is starting early this year
hey /k/ my old fart finally fucking died and even though I skipped the funeral he left me this shitty fucking old gun in his will so I made it newer and cooler like an ar15, what do you guys think?
You don't need to roleplay, the image alone is plenty triggering
>>33978346
I think you should shut the Fuck up.
That image is old.
I'm 18 and went to the doctor yesterday and answered a bunch of personal health questions. I admitted to having used an unlawful drug. Can I expect this to bite my ass in the future? I'm I a drug "user" on the 4473 from now on? Can I expect delayed or denied background checks? I've never been convicted or even arrested. I don't currently and have never regularly abuse drugs. Will this haunt me?
>>33978179
Absolutely not, and you can sue the everloving shit out of your doctor if it does. Doctor-Patient privilege is a thing, and they're only allowed to report things if you say you're going to commit suicide or hurt somebody else.
No.
>>33978179
>Can I expect this to bite my ass in the future?
yes
laws change
people are more concerned about random rug nutters like yourself owning guns
than they are about doc-pat "confidentiality"
Does /k/ bother with any warning signs? /k/riminal minded anons, do you see this and just see an advertisement for guns to steal?
>>33978167
No. Most burglars and thieves by nature absolutely do not want any confrontation or surprise, and why would said thief take the risk of getting caught when he can just find a better mark? They just want to go in, get things of value, and leave.
t. A dude who hung out with all the kids like that in HS
>>33978167
Different anon.
Really it does more bad then good, once your targeted you'll mostly get scoped out for a week at most just to find out yours and people who live with you work scedule once all that is looked at.
They'll get to work.
There's no point in protecting your home if you won't be there to protect it.
Honestly your better of with a warning bad dog sign instead.
It's less autistic then a gun owner sign.

should i buy this? i like the capacity and the ammo it uses... any thought?
>>33978145
If you like it, buy it.
I think it's an overrated hype beast of a meme gun, but my opinion shouldn't matter to you.
If you can afford to feed it, then sure.
Just get the PMR30. 10 more rounds, cheaper, neatly comparable round performance, with a round that actually exists.
What is the rationale behind it being illegal to put any M16 trigger parts in an AR15? Obviously if you were dropping in auto sears and shit it would make sense but I do not understand why its illegal to put any part in the lower.
>>33977992
>rationale
>gun regulation
>>33977992
> it being illegal to put any M16 trigger parts in an AR15
It's not. You can have all the parts but the autosear and it's perfectly fine.
What the fuck are you smoking OP? So long as your lower doesn't have a third hole and you aren't in possession of an illegal giggle sear your rifle can have whatever component you want.

Also the AR owners that have rails out to the end of the muzzle and nothing on it but a stop
>>33977931
Rails, or keymod/m-lok? Because getting a decent freefloat that DOESN'T usually means some ugly ass shit.

So, full disclosure, I had a Marlin Model 60 as a kid, and remember that it was the gun that got me into shooting. Stupidly traded it for some SCUBA gear when I was in college.
I just picked up a used Model 60 for next to nothing ($40) "because it jams all the time." I guessed correctly that it probably hadn't been cleaned in 20 years. Took it apart, cleaned and defouled and de-gritted, reassembled. Less than an hour. Put 500 rounds through this weekend of mix-or-match leftover bulk ammo.
I've owned a 10/22 for years, and have a couple of other .22 rifles. The Marlin 60 absolutely rocked. Groupings (even with crap ammo and iron sights) were amazing. I added a mid-range Bushnell scope and put 50 rounds inside a 3" circle (with the exception of two 'fliers') at 75 yards. Spent the rest of the day shooting soda cans and eggs off of fenceposts. For accuracy, it beats the hell out of my 10/22.
I hope Marlin kept the quality up in their newer production. This rifle is amazing, and I'll be grabbing up any used "jam problem" Marlin 60 I find for sure.
>>33977923
No rifle that requires you tu put your hand in front of the muzzle with a round in the chamber can be best plinker.
795 is best plinker.
>>33977923
I have a marlin 88 that beats my 60 for accuracy. Of course it being as long as a mosin probably helps. Reliability is shit though it wn't cycle anything other than CCI.
>>33978010
What?
You can have a clear chamber and the safety on to load. You don't even have to put your hand in front of the barrel. You can unlock the tube from a safe angle.
The 795 is very nice though. The only thing Marlin hasn't done right is putting picitinny rails on their rifles. Those bb gun grade optic mounts are too easy to fuck up.
I'm a D&D eterna virgin and I recently got into an argument with a buddy of mine over crossbows. His character shot mine from about three feet away with a pistol crossbow in the forehead. He believes my character couldn't tank the shot and should have died immediately.
My character is magic (which should render this argument pointless, but he insists) and has skin / skull endurance on part with a juvenile elephant. I believe that the crossbow bolt would result in a welt but would not breach my character's skin or skull.
I wanted some unbiased opinions on the this. I'd rather ask here than /tg/ since you guys are the weapon experts. Would the crossbow bolt have killed my character?
>weapon experts
disregarding magic, from 3 feet, an arrow could penetrate an elephant's skull.

Sounds like you are doing HP wrong.
you arent really "hurt" beyond scrapes until you are at 10hp or less. HP is an abstraction of fate, lucky misses, and fatigue. Gary Gygax explained it well way back when, and the old Dungeon Master guide explicitly addressed this topic. "A dagger to the eye is a dagger to the eye".
This is why coup de graces exist in dnd.
For those of you that hunt have you had any bad experiences with animals? Times where they got the jump on you, things didn't go as planned, or something much bigger than you expected popped out?

I hunted in Bosnia one time and will never do so again. Imagine running from a bear through a minefield.

Please plz tell me you were hunting men
Had some fatfuck and his landwhale wife walk up on me in a National forest. They were pulling some rusted kid's wagon and didn't have on any orange.
Turns out they had game cameras and waddled out whenever my feeder went off. Fuck those faggots.
How many kommandos would it take to raid and take over a CIA black site?
Depends on the site. Some are on major military bases and /k/ would get wiped out trying, others are nondescript safe house type places that half a dozen /k/ommandos could take over as long as they had decent weapons and a bit of training.
Not enough. CIA UFO operated by the ayys would kill us all.
>>33977546
All of them. Most people on /k/ are nogunz and would serve as fodder. The rest would get droned out of existence.
How effective would a modern kamikaze be? Think: F22 Raptor or a Su-27 ramming a Nimitz supercarrier at full speed.
like squashing an empty can to a wall
>>33977449
Not very. It would reduce combat effectiveness until next drydock. Affecting its seaworthiness is out of the question.
>>33977449
>>33977449
When you consider that modern carriers are pretty much designed from the ground up to absorb plane crashes? Completely shit.

The laws here are so fucking shit. How do I move to Switzerland or the Czech Republic?
>>33977313
If you bother moving for gun rights you should rather go to the US, Canada or some other place outside of Europe
>>33977313
You can own guns in Switzerland for at least 5 years after you move into the country plus you need a permit from your home country which you don't have I presume.
