Thought I'd share because I think it's cool as fuck

What kind of sand works best if I'm trying to disable a would be attacker?
Powdered glass
Fine grit. The kind used to strip paint and rust off cars.
moon dust
The SKS is the ultimate troll rifle.
>Get so dirty that most rifles would completely fail to fire

Where's the safety
>>33984164
On the trigger guard.
>>33984164
It's a flip safety that directly keeps the trigger from being depressed
Who /bighands/ here?
What do you own that fits your mitts the best? What do you plan on buying next?
>>33984082
recently picked up a srh hunter and i have my eyes on a .460 smith
>>33984082
Own a Smith and Wesson Model 29, but was thinking of getting an automatic. Mk 23 was up the list, but a little expensive to just pay for the name. Desert Eagle was also there (Gold Tiger-Stripe 50AE of course), but heard that .44 could be unreliable.
The odd thing is that I really like small guns. First was a CZ2075. My carry is a CZ82. Pocket for the longest time was a NAA .22 magnum, then colt 1908 vest pocket. Good for carry, but might need something to fit the hand for fun.
Next buy: Super Six Golden Bison in 45-70. Why? Because fuck you, the horse you rode in on, and about 5 guys behind you, too.

How do you all shoot a lot of ammo without going broke?
For instance, my primary handgun round is 45 ACP, and I shoot it a LOT. Spending basically 50 cents per round, if I shoot a thousand rounds per week I wind up spending 500 dollars on ammunition alone.
This burns a big ass hole in my wallet. I love to shoot but I cannot afford doing this regularly. Do I need to start reloading my own ammo or what?
1 You can get 45 acp for way cheaper
2 Shoot 9mm
3 Don't shoot 1,000 rounds/week. No one here does that.
>1000 rounds a week
what
shoot less, shoot alternative calibers, buy in bulk to save, invest in reloading. these are you options.
So today I found out that my super liberal neighbors that voted for Obama and Hillary are owners of multiple guns.
Saw these fucks at my local range with 2 Glocks and an Auto Ordnance M1 carbine with fairly decent groups.
Wtf? This kinda bothered me because I wanted to plunder their asses in my SHTF larp dream.
>>33983945
u r gay
>>33983945
why would that stop u from plundering their asses
if it was always easy then it would be no fun
>>33983957
this. also its a topical story right now- liberals arming themselves for self defense against fascist boogeymen or whatever.
whether or not this is true is irrelevant, all free amercians have the right to defend themselves.
Lets see what you got.
>polish p64
>masterpiece arms MPA30T
>>33983868
basic bitch M&P shield for dat rebate nigga
>>33983868
Why did you choose the MPA30T? I'm not gonna argue or anything, I'm just curious. And "because you think it's cool" is totally an answer, I just wonder if there's more to the appeal to that type of gun
>>33983981
I wanted an "Assault pistol." Originally want a cobray m11, but had no experience ordering online or ordering from Southern ohio guns. I saw this gun on Classic firearms and saw that my local FFL was saved on their site. Bought it and bought the p64 with it. Was originally gonna buy the p64 from Moss pawn and gun but shipping was too high and I got it here cheaper.
TLDR, Twas cool.

Ruger now gets my business that was going to them.
They gave donations, kickbacks, golf games, everything to anti-gun politicians for years.
Let it burn.
I've put together a BoB alongside my camping shit, feel free to tell me why I'm a fucking idiot or what I've done wrong:
>External frame molle II ruck (woodland)
>Ground sheet, 1-2 person tent
>Stainless steel camping cookpan + dish/lid + fork/knife
>Stainless steel canteen
>Firestarter+striker, matches, bic, cotton balls soaked in vaseline
>Lifestraw water filter
>Datrex emergency ration
>Woobie
>Map, compass, headlamp w/ red filter
>Kephart Knife
>Rain Poncho + pack cover + garbage bag for inside ruck
>IFAK(field dressing, shears, chest seal x2, quikclot, CAT, gloves)
>Minor med shit(booboo bandages, diarrhea pills, sewing kit)
>Sleeping bag + Klymit inflatable air mattress
>Ammunition
I've been looking over the infographics and I feel like I've missed something. It's meant to get me back to my family before I fortify before SHTF/Katrina boogaloo 2.0
you forgot bottle of tequila, ounce of weed, and toilet paper
>Firestarter+striker, matches, bic, cotton balls soaked in vaseline
ok when you morons do shit like this i wonder why you're too stupid to carry a bic lighter or two
>>33983750
I've wiped my ass with leaves, I don't care, and the bic lighter is right there in the line you quoted so I don't know what you're getting at. Starting a fire with flint is great but I've had that go wrong already out in the bush so I always take matches and a bic as backup.
>>33983658
>Map, compass, headlamp
Go with a grid map and grid protractor if you can. Be precise.
>Stainless steel camping cookpan + dish/lid + fork/knife
Okay princess.

How would you prepare to defend the country against a violent uprising going against American values and our system of checks and balances?
With a gun, a plan, and motivation.
So far, I have none of those things.
>>33983608
>How would you prepare to defend the country against a violent uprising going against American values and our system of checks and balances?
I'd vote for Donald J. Trump for President.
And, in fact, I did just that this past November.
>>33983630
Get out of my country, traitor.
What would you recommend for concealed carry on a no-guns country, where you REALLY don't want to be caught with a firearm on you, but it's violent enough to warrant self defense?
*muffled pouring of tea*
>>33983496
Pretty darned sure if you use it for self defense, somebody will find out you have a gun. Then it's off to the gulag with you.
>>33983496
pepper spray?
Alright guys, I live in the UK (Unfortunately)
Now, I'm looking for a self loading (4+ rounds) PCP air pistol, preferably in the .22 or .25 calibre.
If you could help me find one, that'd be grand, I'd also consider a .22 / .25 CO2 powered air pistol that packs a similar punch, Cheers!
My budgets is 100 - 550 GBP
I'm not sure how your airgun laws are over there, but if you don't mind the price I'd recommend an Evanix AR6. If you didn't want more than one shot I'd recommend a Crosman 2240 or 1322. What do you intend to use it for?
>>33983324
Also forgot to mention there's a pistol version of the Benjamin Marauder, you'll have to mount some sort of sight on it though.
>>33983604
I believe that is too high-powered an air pistol to be legal in the UK, thank you though
