We can argue until the cows come home about ergos, triggers, aesthetics, and unicorn guns, but we should be able to agree that if you can't run a Glock you're probably an incompetent shooter. Are they boring for special snowflake collectors? Yes. Do they have bullseye shooting tier triggers or ergonomics? No, but they're still solid combat/defensive handguns. Bring on the glocknade memes.

I can shoot a Glock.
However I shoot far better with a DA/SA pistol or a revolver.
Why?
Because Glock triggers suck ass, as do. their sights and ergonomics.

The companion of the murdercube will soon be placed near Trafalgar Square. Made of over 100K binned knives, The murder angel represents the "Daily knife violence" happening in London. But let's face it, It's a monument in glory of the ancestral Melee weapon that are knives, Switchblade, and daggers of all kinds.

Who plans to go on pilgrimage over there?

Maybe I got a bum one, but after 50 rounds in my Ruger the recoil knocked the rear sight screw out. Saw where threads made contact was totally stripped.

Also of anyone knows the dimensions on that screw I'd be much obliged.

Zombies are an analogy

Also fun fact: Urban populations have a predisposition for lead poisoning which affects the brain. Eventually you end up with really dumb populations raising really dumb and violent children.

Another fun fact: Certain countries (i.e. the Middle East and Africa) are predisposed to having incestuous births. Which results in young that are much more aggressive and much less intelligent (as well as being much more hideous).

These two situations can be considered current, modern day zombie apocalypses because these populations essentially behave like violent zombies. You do not reason with the zombie. You shoot the zombie.

I started writing a list, but Jesus Christ it might be easier to cite what's not wrong/weird with that scene.
>>
>>34015598
Uniforms look right, but it's weird to see every swinging dick carrying an M4 with an ACOG. The timeframe with mixed uniforms people still carried a lot of M16A2s and ACOGs weren't full issue.

And then of course all the things that happen in the scene...

First off, no, they are not practical at all. It's a cool looking novelty.

Second, where in the fuck are you seeing them for $900? That's a fucking rip-off.

I got one for $300 new a few months ago from here: https://www.ftfindustries.com/product/ET-37M203-STD.html

It took a little fitting for one of the brackets to fit around the barrel, but it works now. I just did it to make a Scarface build out of my Retro AR. Pic related is my build.

Alright /k/, let's establish New Rhodesia. It's the perfect time to try.
>Zimbabwe is in an economic shithole

If we get enough cash and people together, we could easily buy a chunk of land directly from the Zimbabwean government considering how poor they are currently and expand from there.

/tgg/ - /truck gun general/

Who keeps a truck gun here? What are you running? AR-15 pistol? DRACO AK? Kel tec sub 2k? A backup glock you keep in your glove compartment?

Show off pix of your set up, debate truck gun safe vs. stuck between seat cushion with a hat over it, gun rack @ bumper sticker that says "I call 1911" vs. concealed at all times.

>o shit, my car was broken into and my gun was stolen, how could this have happened?

Every time
>>
>>34015234
Most states, including mine, do not place criminal blame on people who have their guns stolen. You gotta report it though.

So now that we've established that you're not legally liable, let's discuss if you're morally liable if the worst happened and someone used your stolen gun to commit a crime. Would you be responsible if the same thief had instead stolen your car to run someone over? What about if they steal your laptop to hack into a bank and steal money? Of course not.

Keeping a contingency gun in a locked car in case of use, compliant to laws of course, is nothing but proactive thinking. You're completely free to do it liability wise, so why not do it?
>>
>>34015287
Great points anon. I don't have one but I actually watched that video of OPs pic and it really made me wanna get a Draco pistol setup like that for a car gun and maybe a chest rig with 3 spare mags.

What's a good 9mm handgun with:
-low bore axis
-manual frame safety (no glock trigger shit)
-decent capacity

Have a chick with a gun for your trouble. Thanks /k/

CZ-75 meets the specs. So does the P07 if you swap the decocker for the safety
>>
>>34015242
Was just about to say P-09/07. Also the switchable back straps would be good for smaller hands. Not to mention they are priced really well.
>>
Why do you want a manual safety on a pistol?

What keeps you guys interested in guns? Is it the skill of firing them effectively? Collecting something with historical value? Simply enjoying the mechanics of how different firearms function? Preparing for that SHTF situation? Or you just don't know what else to do with your money?

I haven't bought a gun in nearly half a year and I haven't been the range in as many months. I haven't even taken a gun from the safe to fondle it this month either. What do bros?

As Europe's militaries begin to modernize/replace their small arms, is there any chance they'll end up in the US as parts kits, like the CETME L?

I've had the itch to build an Uzi for a good 5 months now. I've always loved Uzi's as a classic 80's bad guy gun. The main uses for this would be a range toy/popping hogs as I do with all range toys.

I really like the idea of it all because I can piece it together for $100-200 biweekly for just 6-8 weeks.

>The receiver is about $250.
>Semi-auto bolt: $280
>Parts kit: $130
>16 inch Barrel: $100

In return, I see Uzi's made with these parts going for $900-1200 though I'd probably keep it for shits and giggles as no one has an Uzi where I live.

Optionally, I could always SBR it and not have the 16 inch barrel but this is entirely cosmetic for me. I wouldn't mind throwing on a fake can over the barrel.

I know there are far better 9mm carbines out there. I know the MAC-10/11 does it better and it's cheaper (though it's actually the same cost to build as a civ). I know that Uzi's clock in around the same weight of an AR. The build is easy, I've done far harder projects (AK's, CETME's, etc).

I just want to know if anyone else had one, experiences with it. My main concerns are with reliability and the overall value with time.

Can anyone give me some insight? Are they jam-o-matics once made semi auto?
