Does anyone have any pics of Colt 629 Commandos being used in the field outside of US Military use? There's a million pics of them in use in Vietnam by the US, but I'm looking for pics of them in use by forces other than US forces.
Probably Israel then, the US gave them a whole load of M16s and CAR15s for free, you'd still see them there today on occasion, because they hold on to near anything that isn't hopelessly obsolete (and even then...).
After the US left Vietnam, it doesn't look like they gave the ARVN any of the carbines either - aside from MACV/SOG forces, the South Vietnamese apparently didn't make use of them

Probably just the Israelis
Tfw you live in a poor european country, but atleast gun laws are actually prety neet and the black market is amazing, i can get myself an anti aircraft gun.
I forgot to write how the laws work, you can basically get anything that is not automatic if you put in a bit of time and money

That is just plain retarded. Here we can kill a man with our guns if he assaults us with a deadly weapon

This thread is a story about going shooting. The intended audience is freedomless countries and states without BLM land.
Basically to give others without the opportunity an inside look of the good and bad of it.
The time was 9:27am. I finished loading up my car with several of my guns with hope in my eyes. I set off to the desert, I stopped and purchased a monster energy drink.

I'm moving to Commiefornia in a few months, specifically the San Diego area. I currently own:
1. AR-15 with all the bells and whistles (telescoping stock, flash suppressor, pistol grip, 30-rd mags, etc.)
2. Glock-19 with 15 round mags
3. Colt SAA replica in .45 LC
I'm gonna be a good boy and not own illegal firearms, so what's my best option? I was thinking of just selling 1 and 2 before I move and keeping my Colt SAA since that's the only one I have that isn't considered an """""assault weapon"""""
Why?
>>34054451
Don't tell the government but if you're flying you may have no choice, when I came down from Oregon I would've brought my uncucked AR and 30rd mags with if I hadn't lost it in a tragic boating accident

What are some good general histories and memoirs to read about the SS? I'd like to focus on the combat units and security services, not the Totenkopf.

Red or blue loktite?
I need to fix the screw on an extractor, and an ejection rod cap.
How hard will it get either off after to clean?
>>34054146
Go red, you don't have any maintenance after that since it gets the job done. Also it'll be much more difficult to scrap it off during cleaning

I'm off to alaska in 11 days, i have a private transfer lined up on armslist, but i'm still looking for a good knife/machete for hand to hand combat with bears, cougars, Samoans, Ugandans, and other uncivilized creatures.
I'm not a big guy, you can see my size in pic related
Please factor this into your suggestion. If you have any gear suggestions for backpacking in alaska please suggest anything.
If i get caught with a pistol in AK is it just a slap on the wrist for a twenty year old or will they put me in the cage?

Why would you get in any trouble for carrying in the alaskan wilderness? It's not illegal to carry in state or federal parks.
What would happen if an hostage situation like Beslan happened in the USA?
Would they do better job?
>>34053825
Probably like Waco
>>34053825
>Would they do better job?
Nah they would snipe some terrorists and then boom
no survivors
>Would they do better job?
Hardly. The militarization of modern US police would bring them up to par with Russian security forces equipment wise, but regional SWAT as not really prepared to deal with nearly 40 experienced committed bomb-vested Chechens armed with PKMs and Rocket launchers. I recall they even set up a mounted MG nest on one of the roofs, for perspective on how unprepared a local police response would be to a Beslan scenario. It would be like the North Hollywood shootout but with 15 times the perpetrators and they never leave the bank.
How do we weaponize it?
>>34053806
are those drones?
The original fidgy spinster
>>34053806
Get a steel tube about 1/8in thick, something small enough in diameter to slide through the hole in the center bearings. Drill some holes in it so compressed air can spin the spinner. Attach more spinners, drill more holes, connect compressed air, and boom.

Does anybody know where I can buy a small allon and/or torx key set to have in my range bag?
Both metric and imperial. From very small to around 4mm / 5/32"
International shipping. Not from the states.
Amazon or eBay. Or, y'know, a hardware store.

.410 is my guilty pleasure. There is no finer shotgun gauge for quail or rabbit, and it's a pleasure to carry and shoot.
Here's my 1952 Remington 11-48 in .410. Probably my most treasured firearm.
Does the US have actual war plans for what to do if they had to go to war with North Korea tomorrow?
Is there a plan that tells which brigades and regiments to attack where or will the Americans just play by ear if war comes?
>>34052913
Of course there is a plan for it, the US Military even has a plan on how to deal with a zombie outbreak (seriously).
>>34052913
Nah, other then general shit like counter battery fire and stuff, What units will generally do if x happens, etc.
Once the order is given to invade then brigade commanders (generally a colonel) are given objectives and assets and they have a lot of autonomy on how they want to do it, while tactically batt commanders are given some autonomy to complete the objectives given by the O6.
It's what makes western, and the US, military so effective is the lack of micromanagement at the top level. You can't make a foolproof plan if eatch bat commander is doing stuff slightly different.
>>34052926
Which is weird, considering zombies (the slow shambling kind not the fuckshithorrifying 28 weeks later ones) would never become a serious threat if a few people got infected, they're way too slow.
Does the local police not have the fire power to resist an overthrow attempt?
