HOW THE HELL DO I REMOVE THIS
>>34069565
push the takedown pin to the right until it stops, then put a pin or paperclip in the small hole until the detent and the detent spring are pushed back far enough to where you can remove the takedown pin.
>>34069582
Oh thx
You need a pivot pin detent depressor (P/N 52673).
A bobby pin would also work.
What makes Rwandans such better operators than the rest of sub-sahara Africa?
Fresh from a devastating genocide that killed a good chunk of the population, they basically took over the Congo and brought the UN/African Union to its knees. All with like 2,000 guys that were simultaneously mopping up rebels at home.
I heard they got some Israeli & US training, but they train a lot of forces in Africa. So what did it?

What is this type of harness called?
Two larger pouches, slung low across the bottom of the belly.
I've usually seen them in use by 1970s-80s war fighters.

What does /k/ know about the VSS/AS Val family of weapons?
Has anyone actually used any of them?
How viable are they in real life?
>>34068609
There aren't any in the united states....
:(

The Soviets knowing more about small arms, and not being riddled with corruption like the US realized that a sub-sonic 5.45 sucks ads. Thus in the 80's the created the 9x39 for their Spetnaz to rekt NATO. So it had to be subsonic, and be able to penetrate NATO body armor at 200M.
The recoil stands between a .300 memeout and .458 SOCOM. It's stopping power is pretty good, due to having 2x the mass of 9mmx19.

Comrade Anon, let me tell you story of my experience with AS VAL when I was Vympel.
Gun was heavy, like proper Russian rifle. Not that блядь of a rifle M4. Gun cannot be heard by terrorists when firing. Good Russian engineering.
In Vympel, I called my assigned AS VAL Aнacтacия. It mean Anastasia. Why? Because I secretly wish I were Czar, so I can drink Cristal.
Anyway, when I operating in Caucasus, I kill many terrorists with Aнacтacия. It was accurate and silent. It also mean when I consume my vodka ration and become happy and shoot Aнacтacия randomly into night, nobody knows.
It was good gun. Good Russian gun.

Why does NATO overpressure the fuck out of 9x19?
It's a pistol cartridge, and they only use FMJ. They're not going to get a hand cannon out of it.
>>34068138
>It's a pistol cartridge,
Wrong. It is SMG cartridge. This is why.
>>34068169
NATO still uses submachine guns?
>>34068169
Who the fuck still uses 9mm SMG?
Tell me /k/, what would it take to get NATO to adopt .357 SIG as it's primary pistol cartridge?
Every 9mm in the world magically disappearing from existence.

Bribes. Also Germans deciding it was "their design".. look what they did to the p90 when it didnt go their way.

Anyone else here not carry that often? and not because they are not legally allowed?
my job makes it pretty much impossible for me to carry. We wear these polyster polos that snag on everything and I'm always bending down to pick stuff up. There's no way I could strap on my glock 19 without it printing all over the place, and I'd most likely be fired if that were to happen. I also only work daylight hours and my walk home is through a university campus, so I'm not really clammering to have a carry option, but I might some day down the line buy a ruger LCP in .380 and pocket carry it or grab an urban carry holster or something.
Other than that I just don't really leave the house that often, and if I do sometimes I go drinking so I can't carry there anyway. The only time I strap on my gunbelt is if I get a snack craving after dark and want to hit up the walgreens down the street or I'm going to my band's practice space, which is in a pretty sketchy part of town.
>>34068002
Lazy. You're lazy. If you can't conceal a G19 then yeah, get a fuckin LCP and man the fuck up and carry.
> I go drinking so I can't carry there anyway
I'm sorry you're a raging alcoholic that gets piss drink every time they go to the bars, or you live in a shitty state with weird no alcohol carry laws.
>>34068002
You could pocket carry a smaller gun. I have CCW'd damn near every day for 21years. If there are no metal detectors where I am at I have a gun on my somehow. You can list a shitload of excuses but short of metal detectors or daily pat-downs they are all bullshit as far as reasons not to have a gun.
>>34068210
>I'm sorry you're a raging alcoholic that gets piss drink
No, but the law is that you can't have ANY alcohol in your system while you are in possession of a firearm, so even if I only have 2 beers, I'd still be breaking the law if I was carrying, and I don't want a fucking gun charge.
>or you live in a shitty state with weird no alcohol carry laws.
hey man I'm sure this will get me accused of "nogunz" but judging how I see people act when they are drunk, I don't want them fucking carrying guns, or at least I want them busted badly if they do.
Is there anything more idiotic than morons waxing about muh honor on the battlefield? There is nothing moral about killing, there is no glory and there is no honor, only killing, that's it and that's the way it should be. No treating the enemy with kindness, no letting combatants go, just straight up kill them. But no muh honor fags still persist. If anything these fags prolong the war, by letting up on the enemy. For god's sake /k/ tell me you agree?
>>34067873
Fuck off Spergo
>>34067873
Alright, hope you like being torched by flamethrowers and melted by chemical gas.
Honor is what seperates us from the barbaric hordes. Without it we revert back to pure animalistic, emotional thinking like your rage filled rant.
Theres a time and place for honor though.
Anyway, have fun getting your shit pushed in when you refuse to fight respectfully and get your tactics turned on your whiny ass.
