>Simo "Simuna" Häyhä (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈsimo̞ ˈhæy̯ɦæ]; 17 December 1905 – 1 April 2002), nicknamed "White Death" (Russian: Бeлaя cмepть, Belaya Smert; Finnish: valkoinen kuolema; Swedish: den vita döden) by the Red Army[citation needed], was a Finnish marksman. According to western sources, using a Finnish-produced M/28-30 rifle (a variant of the Mosin–Nagant rifle) and the Suomi KP/-31 submachine gun, he is reported as having killed 505 men during the 1939–40 Winter War, the highest recorded number of confirmed sniper kills in any major war. However, Antti Rantama (Häyhä's unit military chaplain), credited 259 confirmed sniper kills were made by Simo Häyhä during the winter war.

Is Cerakote a meme?
What are the real benefits, how long does it last, and does it require any special maintenance when cleaning?
>>34134438
Salt bath nitride is what you want.
>>34134438
Benefits:
Corrosion Resistance
Easy to apply
If properly applied it lasts like forever, very durable
All colors avaiable
Cons:
Not meant to be used inside of a gun (gas/trigger components)
For Internal parts (barrel, muzzle brake, etc.) use nitriding
>>34134438
No.
It's abrasion resistant, keeps surface components cool in hot environments, can provide visual concealment, and is very durable.
Anyone know what this is? The gun.
That's a woman retard
It looks like a frankenstein.
>>34134290
If you get more trigger action than a gun, then you're a gun too.
thinking about getting a Mosin-Nagant, but it has a sticky bolt. Should I still get it?
>>34134139
You likely won't find one that isn't sticky. OR at least riddled with other minor problems. Garbage rods are garbage rods so if you think it looks pretty and need a -not so cheap anymore- gun, go for it.
Sticky bolt is a meme made by retards who did fully clean their rifle of cosmoline. But don't buy one, it was a fun gun at 100$ but not 200$.
>>34134139
Holy shit, just disassemble the bolt and fucking clean it
I havent been able to find out what type of fighter jet this is, can anyone on /k/ help me?
F-16D, one of the later blocks with the "spine" and conformal fuel tanks. They appear to belong to the Greeks.

No one ever mentions it but in 1914 they fought at 1 vs 100 in what could be considered as the most stupid fight, except that it slowed the German army for few hours, and those precious hours are what saved Paris.
Without the Belgians the war would have been over in the first weeks, and the world would be completely different today.
Every year at the 11th november I think about this handfull of crazy Belgians, may they be forever drunk in Valhalla.
So people bitch about the recoil on these things constantly, yet used versions still sell for 1,000$ and above. What gives? I was thinking I could find a "good" deal.
>>34134004
In my experience, people don't bitch so much as humble brag. It's their way of saying "I have a big as fuck revolver, look at all the recoil it makes."
>>34134018
Ah, that makes sense. I haven't bought many guns in my life time at least in comparison to most enthusiasts, I'm noticing that used guns usually aren't that much cheaper.
>>34134018
This.
I think people keep them around just to pull them out and make Tim Allen grunting noises once in a while, even if they hate shooting them.
The one that gets me is people bitching about .44. My friend has an early Model 29 with wood grips and everything, and it's fucking fine, I actually love shooting the thing. The recoil is more of a "shove" than a "snap" and it's much easier to handle than, say, a compact 1911 with lots of sharp edges.
From my video game exp id assume you could rig an m21 or even a barret 107 to fire automatic but id assume you would need a solid mount to deal with recoil. I know this is a stupid question.

If hammer, SP01. If striker, G17 or M&P9 (determine w/ preferred grip angle).
