Is there any reason why we are not using 6.5 CT ammo? The maturity of this design and ammunition has already proven itself that it works. So why in the literal fuck are we not using this shit? Is it just to radical of a design change compared to the weapons we have in our arsenal currently? To me, it just shows the stupidity in our nations weapon procurement procedures.

Here we have a new design philosophy that is finally out of the experimental big business pet projects and is now at the point that at the say of the word, can be put into full production. The U.S.Army has instead gone full retard and instead of trying out a new thing that could well prove to be the next evolution of firearms instead calls for some bullshit 7.62 competition which, just like the MRAP procurement. Will produce a lot of shit that sucks and fills a small niche, and like the xm8 and carbine competitions, will have a lot of political pandering and corruption and unfairness for many competitors.

If you had to pick one gun to carry with you every single day, but were given unlimited funds to either buy one or even have one custom made for you. What would you go with?

I was thinking about this when I watched a video of the EDC9. It really does seem like the ultimate carry pistol, however I would go with a DA/SA trigger with a frame mounted decocker, but no safety.

Thinking of possibly selling my CZ97B Gen II NIB. Any takers?
Lightly used upper that has less than 100 rounds of BHA Moly Match through it. I don't get around to shooting it much and it just sits in the safe. Spikes upper, with a 15" keymod freefloat handguard. 24" Anderson Manufacturing fluted .223 wylde match grade barrel. This upper can fire either 5.56 or .223. Comes with everything pictured. Bipod is a Harris 6-9" with a GG&G rail adaptor. No BCG or CH but I can add one in for more. I have about $550 into it with all the parts. Not looking to recover all my money but am looking to get some back. Can provide more detailed photos on request. $435

Here is mine: will it be a big problem if I shoot 12x70 ammo from 12x76 shotgun? I just got new under over shotgun witx 12x76 barrels and I have tons of leftover 12x70 ammo.

How does the US Navy intend to run away from the Chinese YJ-18 super missile? I don't think this missile has any analog anywhere in the world. It has reached the apex of naval technology. I doubt any nation has the capability to copy this Chinese weapon, especially not India.

So whats the deal with the 556 round?
I know this has been argued over hundreds of times before, but I like fresh opinions.


Is this actually an effective and deadly round that can get the job done?
Or will it slide through like a .22, leaving little to no damage?

And is this retarded "556 was designed to wound, not Kill" true?


The AR is currently my only tactical rifle, and the size of the round has me worried about stopping power, especially if SHTF is ever a thing. Ive also heard countless stories of how some people can be shot upwards of 5 or 6 times, yet they still seem unfazed.
