Which witch would you fuq?
I have a strong desire to restrain Erika with tape and rape her like a wild man whilst she curses and berates me
I plan on finding out how she tastes too
There would be something wrong if you didn't want some of this.
I want it and I want to take it without permission. God, I'd love to teach that arrogant bitch a lesson by abusing her cunt
Witches are for plebs
Aunts are for true patricians
Did they fuck this CG up, or am I missing something? I'm pretty sure it would be impossible for Shannon to be laying at that angle if she shot herself through the grate
I'm pretty sure you meant Eva, and yes, this is an acceptable compromise
That's impossible, Anon, because witches aren't real.
Aunts, however, definitely are!
It's bizarre, but no version of the artwork for any WTC game is actually properly accurate. The aunts all look way younger than they should and the Shannon and Kanon art are just outright lies. There's no way they can be accurate.
So Battler was Dante all along?
It's not like anyone ever tried to hide that
I think it's more like Tohya was finally able to live without Battler "inside" him. Tohya definitely didn't die. In the manga he's still talking to the kids after Battler leaves. And besides, he's only 30, there isn't really any reason for him to die
Okay, I looked this game up and this one is just straight up Rika. What the fuck is this shit?
The lack of a capital letter in the first post indicates a haste in making that post. I consequently theorize the following.
I shall first link this to the fact that the character you picked initially to represent you was the 'class rep', whom whilst by the nature of their job is to be outgoing in class, is often shown as strict and possibly even restricted in term of lifestyle, or to put in more colloquial terms, has a very boring lifestyle. Contrast this to the 'mystery boy' who's nature is given away merely by his title, and who subsequently is likely far more popular as an individual, them you arrive at an answer that you immediately picked the character that actually represented you the best in real life, as opposed to the one that you inspire to be due to their cool, collected nature and popularity.
This level of reasoning is possible for A Guy with too much time on his hands. What do you think, everyone?
Why can't you just accept that it was a mistake? There's no murder here so why must you insist that there is some kind of mystery to solve?
You seriously better stop this now, dudebrother. My alternate persona could break free at any moment and you'll totally regret it.
I almost forgot about this. Her name actually was Miyoko from the beginning, so she could possibly be the Takano that was saved by young Bernkastel. I can totally see Lambda making her a piece just to mess with Bern.
Oh my, how scary. Guess I should back off before your fake Tumblresque head-canon comes out to play.
1. All anime trope characters look alike. "A shrine maiden with black hair" isn't any level of similarity.
2. It's a doujin game. It has lots of homages to Higurashi, Umineko, Steins;Gate, etc. For example, the "Paranoia Virus" plot or "Giant Time Bomb" plot with a "Witch" as the featured role.
But yeah, Tragedy Looper is basically "When They Cry: The Board Game." And it's awesome, too. I've been thinking of making a fan expansion for it with the actual Higurashi or Umineko characters/locations/plots.
It's a Japanese designer, actually: http://bakafire.main.jp/about_eng.html
>tfw you're watching hentai and suddenly Daisuke Ono is voicing the MC
Stop, oh God she looks like a cat with downs syndrome
beato is probably impossible to NTR.
bern and 34 are psychos that'll probably bite off your dick.
auau is worst seacat and responsible for everything bad that has ever happened.
rule63!battler is probably sluttiest witch, though.
Would you perfer this, then?
also how does that look like a dude
I could mastermind it.
Heck, we could even do one on a /jp/ thread using tripcodes for the mastermind and three protagonists. I'd play a custom one-off script so others wouldn't get spoiled.
Are there scans for the entire game somewhere? It's just like /seacats/.
I imagine that as long as each piece was detailed, you could just make them by using pieces of art from the WTC series instead of the one off stuff that the game uses.
I downloaded the pdfs of it a long while ago from here. There's the rulebook, player's handbook, and mastermind's handbook.
They're still there, it seems they've just been moved
And there is indeed a "Witch" and "Paranoia Virus".
>Go through entire series with a culprit in mind from about halfway though Ch.1
>"Cool I was right"
>Turns out I was wrong
>Read And Then There Were None
>Think it's predictable only because I read Umineko beforehand
>"Yep totally guessed it"
>Twist completely blindsides me
So I guess these are the struggles of being a Detective, huh.
/jp/ plays tragedy looper as a drinking game
>so as I was saying youmu is incredibly dorky
>pettan pettan tsurupettan
>where was I? OH YEA! The murders!
How can you go through ch7 without understanding who the culprit is? Unless you're talking about Rosatrice, in which case get outta here
But hey, when you do have a correct theory or a theory that can coexist with the official answer, I personally get a feeling better than orgasm
It's pretty much stated that it is Shannon (Sayo) in Part 7, and it is strongly hinted that Kanon is just made up.
Yasu wasn't a maid, he was just pretending to be one while in actuality being the Lord of Rokkenjima. At least that's how I justified it.
Plenty of interesting things to discover on a reread. For example end of ep 4 where Battlers existance is being denied in red. The part where he says ange is my sister, I should have realised that ange being Kyrie's daughter, then means that Battler is Kyrie's daughter, but instead ange tells us its not about blood, but about bonds(which is bullshit) and I end up accepting that.
As well as how ange was able to revive sakutarou for Maria in the golden land. Call me slow, but I never caught these things on my first read.
Even though it was stated in red, it could possibly mean it was true for that specific kakera. But I'm not one to be contrarian so I believe that that kakera makes sense for the outcome of 1998
There's something I've been wondering about for a while. How did Yasu know that Ange would be absent? The only explanations I can think of are
1: She just assumed Ange would be sick again, since she was known to have bad health
or 2: She bribed either Rudolf or Kyrie or both beforehand, and they told her. However, that would make them accomplices in every game, which seems kind of unlikely
I guess that's possible, but in the part of the manga where she plans the murders, and states her reasons for wanting to kill each of them, Ange is the only one that isn't mentioned at all. It's a little strange
I did some research, and the site i posted is linked on the official website for the PS3 port, so it's official for sure.
So I guess that means tape-rape Erika is canon
>official art of no-pan Rika
I don't think I can handle this
>GM Battler illustration
>not Battler naked and in a collar
You had one job.
That was one of the best endings in that game.
Joke endings aside, some of them were hillarious.
>Beatrice and Ange
not Mammon and Ange
You had ONE job.
>then means that Battler is Kyrie's daughter
>Crossing his legs
And they said that Yasu was the one who didn't have testicles
When did Yasu stop going to school with Jessica? Kanon says that he didn't attend school past the elementary level, but that is clearly not true as you can see from the manga which has Shannon at a higher level. I wonder why Jessica didn't pick up on any of that.
Could be just Kanon bullshitting, who knows. I always felt like Jessica probably had an inkling of what was going on with the whole Shannon/Kanon thing but didn't want to say anything or didn't know how. I mean hey, there's really no non-awkward way to ask someone why are they pretending to be a boy. Or pretending to be a girl, I guess.
Pachinko Slots? More like Pachinko Sluts.
I make a quick and kind of shitty little custom card for Tragedy Looper. Will do the same with all the character cards so it can be WTC reskinned. I think that I have everything I need on there.
I feel like I've seen this character before somewhere, but I just can't place her.
You wouldn't play with Maria's tight puffy pussy?
What the fuck man
I want to read Higurashi, since Hotarubi is going to have expys to that and it's the only ryu07 thing I have yet to read.
Should I just read the 'restored' version? I prefer the old sprites for Umineko, but Higurashi's giant ball hands are so funny that I'm worried it might break serious moments.
I'd recommend the original sprites. They might look odd at first, but you'll get used to it. They're much more expressive, which enhances the experience.
I originally played Umineko with the original sprites. Then I went back and played Higurashi, and tried to use the sprite patch...but just couldn't. I had to go back to the original sprites by the 2nd arc. It just wasn't the same.
That's precisely why I asked.
Umineko with new sprites, even on a reread, just isn't the same.
I know it sounds as retarded as "The voices were better in the manga" arguments, but really, bad sprites make it so you fill in the blanks. Having perfect character pictures and a different background image for every scene makes imagination take a dive and takes away all the magic.
There's also one for Higurashi already on BGG. Higurashi translates even easier since all the locations are the same. The tricky part for me in Umineko is the locations. I was thinking:
Kuwadorian (or Chapel?)
BTW, could you post the template here? I'd like to do an Umineko/Higurashi retheme where the characters actually have new abilities.
Let's play a game.
There is a street of houses.
In each house lives a person with a different nationality.
These five owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar and keep a certain pet.
No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same beverage.
The question is: Who owns the fish?
the Brit lives in the red house
the Swede keeps dogs as pets
the Dane drinks tea
the green house is on the left of the white house
the green house's owner drinks coffee
the person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
the owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
the man living in the 3rd house drinks milk
the Norwegian lives in the first house
the man who smokes blends lives next to the one who keeps cats
the man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill
the owner who smokes BlueMaster drinks beer
the German smokes Prince
the Norwegian lives next to the blue house
the man who smokes blend has a neighbor who drinks water
I'll also throw in a present for you.
The German doesn't own the fish.
Come at me jaypee!
It's stupid, but I guess the answer has to be that noone owns the fish. The riddle is the same as the original, so if the German doesn't own it, then noone can. The German owns a different animal not specified in the riddle, and none of them own the fish
While you could argue that I messed up a little with one line in the explanation, it should still be possible if you put your imagination to use.
I'll post the answer if no one gets it eventually.
I did it all again from scratch and I keep arriving to the same solution
1.-Norway Yellow Dunhill Water Cats
2.-Blue Dane Horses tea Blend
3.-Brit red Milk Pall mall birds
4.-Green German Coffee Prince FISH
5.-White Swede dogs master beer
I give up
That's the only possible answer. Unless the houses are in a different formation, like a circle, or it's a wordplay, like the one I proposed, that can only be the answer. If this actually is solvable then I'm completely lost
I will check that Higurashi retheme out when I can. I was planning on using some Higu characters on parts where the Umineko ones don't really fit.
Here is the .xcf file for the first card. I am not /gd/ so please don't let anything I did offend your sensibilities.
It would have been just fine if you had removed the "five" part. Make sure to read trough it more carefully before posting next time
I guess that means my answer that none of them owned it was kind of right then. And even then, it took a while before I came up with that
How close is the manga to the VN? I would read the VN but I don't have the spare time.
I'll fix this shit. The riddle specifies that there are five people living on a street. But what if the German had a visitor from America? That way the American wouldn't count as of the five owners specified, since he doesn't live there. The German owns a different animal, while his American visitor owns the fish. See, no problems at all
Other than some parts which are briefer and part 7 & 8 which diverge from the VN (By being much more explicit) it is a good adaption. For some reason RS still hasn't finished the novelization yet.
fuck this shit, I'm rewatching Higurashi
Yes but you'll still have a far better experience with the VN, and I say that as someone who collects the books.
The best thing Umineko has to offer in my opinion is the immersion created primarily by not knowing what will happen next, the stellar soundtrack, and the depth of detail the characters thoughts are expressed in. While the manga are certainly great, they naturally don't offer you a soundtrack and about three quarters of the characters thoughts are cut out. This detracts you from both the world and the characters, and since emotions displayed towards scenes in stories are directly proportional to how invested you are as a person into the characters lives and livelihood, this consequently removes much of the impact certain scenes will have on you as a reader. Furthermore, you certainly won't know what will happen when reading the manga and will certainly be surprised at twists, however obviously this is a one off thing and if you decide to read the VN after it will also be ruined due to prior knowledge of twists.
Ergo you should either read the VN first then the manga, or just avoid both, make a note to come back to them someday when you actually have time, and thank me later.
I thought this was written by the man himself, and got really hyped for it then disappointed when I found out the truth.
Oh well, I only have one friend that would want to play it so whatever. (Although maybe two once I finally introduce another to WTC)
My dick has ascended from this plane of existence.
For some reason the fact that its official makes me even harder.
I'm not saying that Maria isn't a cute, fuckable child, I'm just saying she's too autistic. I bet she'd be talking about Beatrice and "Kihihi"-ing during the sex, and that's a bit too much
How the fuck did Erika not see Shannon and Kanon at the same time here? Is she blind?
Yeah, that's what the manga says as well. Erika thought Kanon was preparing her room
And while we're on it, why did they refer to Shannon as X in this scene? It was really obvious that they were talking about her, and they even showed her being the culprint in Episode 7
The unreliable narrarator thing had me incredibly confused. I assumed that you just couldn't trust anything Battler didn't see, but as soon as he saw Kinzo prancing around in End of the Golden witch I lost it. Of course the answer was obvious as he was just Lambda's piece at that point. I love how the manga really utilizes it in that scene, even if it makes the answer obvious.
She should come over here to Denmark and get hammered. She is 15 so it would all be good.
Fuck me, the wiki agrees with you. I must have remembered that incorectly. Then she is just 18 but with an inadequate body.
Her intellectual rape is the equivalent of fedora tippers compensating for having a small dick.
Ok, I checked the VN and Genji indeed says she's about the same age, but then, in the next scene, Maria says she's younger so I don't fucking know
Excuse the shitty quality, I had to find it on Youtube
Maria may be judging Erika based on her appearances, while Genji may have asked her when he was helping her out. Her age is probably meant to be ambiguous like a few other things in the story.
Kyrie's the ideal partner for life, both as a relationship and a partner in crime.
Natsuhi is the ideal oldschool supportive housewife that'll make you welcome home after a long day of work.
Rosa is probably an incredible shag. Pump and dump, but dump immediately or you risk her catching up to you and fucking your shit up.
Eva's shit. Avoid at any opportunity, lest you want to get swindled, smirked at and in general be berated because you're not a walking money bag.
There're three chapters.
The thing about Kyrie is that if she loves you, you can confide in her fully about anything and she'll support you. Unless it somehow spurs her jealousy then you might be fucked.
Did you even read Umineko? Eva is repeatedly shown to honestly love Hideyoshi and doesn't insult him once, even with biased narrators. Speaking of which, when she is shown without bias in one of the stories after Umineko, she clearly tries to get along with Ange despite what happened previously. Regardless of whether you interpret Eva's love of her family to wealth or not, at least she would get to know you before blowing you off. Kyrie wouldn't even allow you to get close to her unless she had something she wanted from you. She literally murdered over half the cast including slicing Maria's throat open for extra gold.
Yet kyrie never betrayed Rudolf. Her whole character is based on unconditional love for him.
Eva is a control freak, if its not her way then it's no way. You ignore her rokkenjima attitude way too much in favour of her implied lovelyness off screen.
Inner characteristics say more than outer. Kyrie's reality is psychopathic just like her sister. Eva is more of a caring person. All of the adults have the flaws of greed, which is what led to the massacre in the first place. What actually matters is their inner selves.
Excerpt from Umineko Ep.5 Book 2 Review:
>Perhaps the first clue we get that this is going to be literary analysis rather than a mystery narrative is when Erika, the obnoxious teen detective Bernkastel has inserted into the story, begins to crow about third-rate mystery novels and begins reeling off names of well-known classic books featuring serial killers. On the one hand, it is nice to see Ryukishi07 finally acknowledge the source I've been accusing him of relying on the entire time, Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, but it also serves as a warning that things are about to get metafictional on Rokkenjima. That fear is confirmed when a new character is introduced, Dlanor A. Knox. Canny readers will have noticed that this is a sad rearrangement of the letters of English priest Ronald Knox, who created the ten rules that all (Golden Age) murder mysteries must follow. Continuing the parallel, Dlanor is garbed like a severely under-dressed clergyman, with keys making up a cross design on her cap, and is declared an Inquisitor, a punisher of witches. While we can see that Ryukishi07 is attempting to dramatize what is basically a debate about how mysteries ought to run and be told, his attempt to fetishize Knox's Commandments as a cute loli with a useless ruffle on her crotch just smacks of pandering
Do you agree, /jp/?
Is that the same bitch that wrote this?
>As for Umineko When They Cry...when the series began, it was an interesting mystery with many possible solutions, inspired by some of the greats of mystery fiction. Now? When author Ryukishi07 decided to give Knox's Commandments (ten guidelines for mystery writers) a moe personification, that was it. All along the author had been taking a supercilious tone in his commentaries and using Beatrice as his voice in the story, but with the most recent story arc to see English translation, “The End of the Golden Witch,” the plot has gone from an intriguing mystery to flat-out obnoxious as Ryukishi07 tries to taunt readers with his increasingly silly devices and annoying characters. Had this stuck to actually following Knox's Commandments instead of making then fanservice, it might have been a worthwhile read for mystery buffs. But the farther Umineko strays from its genre roots, the less interesting it is. Maybe a better analogy than “train wreck” would be that Ryukishi07 jumped the tracks entirely and is just running his train in circles on the grass, his head out the window while he crows about how awesome he is.
ANN is a good news source, but their reviews are pretty bad
Approximately how long is Higurashi? I tried searching for it, but I'm getting different numbers everywhere. One site said it would take about 60 hours, while another said it would take over 90, which sounds wrong since that's longer than it took to read Umineko
Haha yeah it's her. Hilariously that was the quote I was looking for to post here, when I stumbled upon her full review that I took the excerpt from
She's a woman. If you find a guy who somehow dislikes her, then you have reason to question the nature of our existence
Only slightly less than Umineko, however I find that I need to take time to digest things in Umineko whereas Ryu repeats himself a lot in Higurashi, which I subsequently skip through, so that widens the time difference for me
>(Though I do still find R07 annoying as an author - not so much in the story, but in his "bwahaha I am awesome" afterwards.)
What is she even referring to here?
Should have just replied with this
Someone told me a few weeks back that Umineko was twice the length of Higurashi, but I realize now that can't be right.
I looked it up, and Umineko's Japanese byte count is 5,857,280, while Higurashi's is 5,650,000. It seems both of these are without the extra stuff, like Tsubasa and Rei
Who detective here?
Who villain here?
I personally love to concoct scenarios where the detective would be stumped and how those scenarios would play out, but I also love to play detective, but I'm not very good at the detective part, so I usually stick to the side of trickery.
best girls coming through
all other sluts need not apply
I have to do something god damn it. This is not the time to fap.
>Natsuhi is the ideal oldschool supportive housewife that'll make you welcome home after a long day of work.
WHY CAN'T THERE BE MORE NATSUHI PORN
Single mothers, man. Single mothers...
Well, I wouldn't mind too much as long as I could put more dough in Rosa's oven. It's not really being cucked if you get your own kids out of the mess, right?
And maybe when Maria gets older, I can seduce her! Win win!
>But the farther Umineko strays from its genre roots, the less interesting it is.
I don't honestly disagree with this assessment, though. The more meta Umineko got, the less I gave a shit.
I couldn't go on after chapter 6. Not because it was bad or anything, but I just ran out of steam after how stupidly meta everything got and I simply failed to connect with the struggles of literally any of the characters. It just got too out there.
Fuck off janny, I censored every naughty bit in that picture!
George really nees his glasses.
I can see Rosa, Maria, Erika, Kyrie, Natsuhi and Eva there.
Also, no Jessica, which is bad.
Why is Lion a girl in every doujin, instead of a boy like he's supposed to be?
I just want to see Will fuck male Lion in the ass, is that too much to ask for?
Holy shit! That lady has the same... whatever you call it... as most female seacats!
I would thorat and face fuck Erika while her wrist are duct tape behind her back and leave her in a sloppy mess of drool, tears, and seamen. Ill even slap her face until in turns red plus spit on it. I wouldn't be disturbed by it because Erika looks and seems like the type of girl who would enjoy having her thorat violated.
...what's the fuck is wrong with me /jp/?
Thanks anon that makes me a little better.
I'd pump and dump Rosa. She's a total slut so you know she be a good fuck.
I wouldn't stick around though. I aint baby sitting Maria.
She uploads stuff on tumblr sometimes, last post being a few weeks ago. She did a neat Beatrice pixel some time ago.
They took down all of it. Umineko, Higurashi (except the 2 chapters on Steam), Higanbana and Rose Guns Days
I wanted to finally buy them a while ago, to support 07th Expansion, but it's kind of hard to find them now
>As of today, an old contract between our company and 07th expansion has ended, resulting in the removal of the original Higurashi, Higurashi Kai, Umineko, Higanbana, and Rose Guns Days from our catalog. The current contract for Higurashi Hou is still active, and our sales of the updated version of Higurashi will be unaffected. Existing owners of the affected titles will still retain the games in their account, and owners of Higurashi will still receive the updated translation.
Ah, that sucks, Thanks for digging that up for me . If it's just for the sake of supporting 07th Expansion though, I'd just go with buying official merch. I bought most of the light novels a while ago and they were pretty good, the illustrations are great.
I think I have a problem, guys
>misuse the quote feature
>talk about the chills I got in the scene where the servants trick Battler into thinking Beatrice is standing behind him
>acquaintance says 'if you liked that, you should play the visual novel!'
>get genuinely offended that he would think I would watch the anime
I'm turning into such an autist turbonerd and it's all your fault, /jp/! All your fault!
I thought it was pretty lame that George got a cool character-building scene during his trial but when Jessica had to kill Kyrie she just acted like an empty-eyed robot. What's up with that?
Because she didn't want to do it and forced herself to act cool and emotionless about it for the time being in order not to falter. IIRC in the VN after the scene ends, she returns to herself and gets angry at George for not feeling anything and starts crying.
I agree it was kind of lame though, EP 4 Jessica was way cooler. I guess there's a moral difference between fighting a demon and murdering your extended family.
Best aunt. Worst mom.
You will never fuck Rosa on the side knowing Maria is alone by herself.
You will never meet pre-maria Rosa, marry her, and then procreate with her in missionary position while she whispers her love to you
and then do that again but with her pregnant and carrying your child (after lewd lactation foreplay)
>Basically, being drunk makes him an unreliable narrator
Would the word of a drunk hold up in a court of law?
Would you trust the memory of drunk?
Would you hire a drunk detetive?'
Answer is no.
Still, I wonder what Genji spiked the booze with if Battler was seeing this shit
Let me try to help with that
in lewd lactation foreplay
Rosa and you on sofa
You are grouping her soft breasts while sucking on her hard pink tits and can tell she's getting excited from this
You feel Rosa in heat and stop sucking. You look up into her eyes and UuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuuUuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuuUuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuuUuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuuUuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuuUuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuuUuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuuUuUuuUUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuuuUuUuUuuuUuuUuuu
smacks you in the face and tells you to STFU. Then proceeds to leave saying she has to manage her company
Later you realized you got NTR'd. By me.
Goodnight which bitch witch would you hitch thread.
See you on the other side!
I'm pretty sure Zepar and Furfur just pressured her into it and nothing more, because the entire point was more or less that Jessica herself had to have the resolve to kill. It's not like they needed Kyrie dead, they just wanted to see Jessica do it.
It's just chuuni daydreams. I think to myself
>what would be a difficult crime to solve
then go from there, then play it out. Honestly, I'd write it out, but I'm bad at writing so I've given up on that idea.
Sometimes I come up with puzzles for seacats to solve or games to play to liven up the mood.
>Well, Yasu must have been alive at that point, right?
No, she shot herself at the fourth twilight. But I wasn't even talking about that. I meant the butterflies, and the fact that Kinzo is there
Shota Battler and Shannon are so cute together holy shit.
This. Honestly, when I read the manga it confused me to see Shannon admitting that she planned to murder everybody and Battler just simply accepting it. I assume that even though the manga told us more about what happened, it's still highly biased towards Yasu's delusions.
Well, Yasu was the only person left alive (or so they thought) and she DID save Battler, so I can see why he wouldn't be as cold as you normally would. He didn't have much of a choice, I'm pretty sure he would've reacted different under any other circumstances.
That said, I don't doubt the scene could be something that didn't actually happen. It's not totally crazy and impossible, though.
>What went wrong?
I was going to say a cumulation of events that lead to Yasu going crazy, family being pushed into harsh economic situations, and tons of LOVE(and gold), but then I realized the real answer is "Everything".
Shit's been going wrong since Kinzo kept original Beato inside and she died.
