they're super westernized now with their remixes and those series (like the dancehall/pop culture releases) but the golden era was fucking great.

the garnet star, lovelight, blue note and of memories are so good and I can listen to them without skipping a track. The Trois album was pretty awesome too

I usually like ayame's tracks, the rest are more hit or miss.

They started off okay, then got really bland and repetitive, and apparently at that point Minoshima realized this and decided he needed to do something new, so he started apeing bad western pop and writing music for strip clubs.

Their "spinoff" albums (~FLASHLIGHT~ and so on) are good as a rule, too. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking with the Pop|Culture line.

I'm with you on this. I like their dancehalls, specifically KILLED ABANDONED and DOMINATED. Flashlight is pretty good. The pop cultures are all pretty fucking bad and I can never get myself to listen through the whole albums when they come out. Pop culture 2 is good though, it has some good tracks in it.

I've been listening a couple of albums by them since C83 - it's all big room, generic shit.

Some songs are cool, but that's it.

All in all, a technically good circle with no personality.

Funny enough, most Minoshima's stuff I listen are from other albums not by Alstroemeria.

Liked all of their early stuff until they started adding vocals to their songs. Wasn't really the biggest fan until dancehall series. Now that was good. I don't mind pop culture either, but cloud 9 was awful.
