While I'd agree in the case of any other character, Komachi is the only touhou I think that looks good with an incredibly large chest.

Iku Nagae is the one explicitly described as lazy. She'll take shortcuts and easy solutions so she does less work and will rush to complete a half-assed job so she can laze about afterwards.

There is a difference. The incident was her not compensating for an increased flux of souls needing to be processed. She was working as hard as ever.
It's not "laziness" to suddenly not do extra work, though it is very poor work ethic.
Also PoFV was the most harmless incident to date. The only consequences was a bunch of spirits receiving free enlightenment from Hakurouken being used indiscriminately.

I like Komachi for various reasons, but I think she would have the lowest opinion of me. I'm apathetically lazy (chronic depression), often visited by suicidal thoughts (because of health problems), poor; my life in general has been full of sin. In every regard, the opposite of what she was weaned to respect.

Perhaps for that reason though I like playing as her in PoFV. Knowing myself that she doesn't know what sort of person is controlling her, gives me a certain satisfaction.

Komachi has no problem with suicidal thoughts. As someone very close to death, suicide is a normal walk of life for her. Though it mildly annoys her as it increases her workload, so she prefers for people to live long lives.
And she's not the judge, so your sin isn't her business, only your virtue is (likewise your actual poorness is meaningless; your virtue will be turned into money upon death). Sin and virtue can be held together by one person.
She's far more laid back than you think.
