It's been almost 9 years since a handful of /jp/ browsers banded together and created The Dandelion Girl (VN). Are any of the original creators still on /jp/, or have they all moved on to bigger and better things? It's gotten a much needed polish and will be re-released soon (not remade exactly) and unfortunately most of the contributors remained anonymous while it was being developed, so the credits list for it is relatively short and full of names like "Anonymous" or "Red Anon". All of the original art assets have been untouched (albeit scaled up) out of respect for the original artist.
I really don't know how to reach out to a large group of people who were largely anonymous, so I wanted to at least post it here, since this is where it began. If you were one of those contributors, or know someone who was, feel free to post something I can credit you/them with. This started as a /jp/ project, so I hope it's OK if I post it here, at least once. I'll understand responses like "GTFO DANDY DEVS." I care more about crediting the people who worked hard on this than shameless self-promotion.

Is /jp/ really that old?
Actually these type of games are not allowed here. Only japanese I think.
That rule was really only put into place to remove the cancer that was "katawa shoujo general ad nauseum edition" from /jp/. I didn't even dislike KS, but the shitstorm it caused was of epic proportions.
I don't think so, but I wrote it both times, so I'm pretty biased. Stylistically, it's much easier on the eyes, and reads smoother.
You're right, sorry. It's been about 8 years, which actually means The Dandelion Girl started right around the time /jp/ did. Neat.
I haven't been on /jp/ in a long time, but I can certainly remember that shitstorm. I don't like to compare two different games clearly intended for different audiences, but...
Holy shit i forgot all about this.
I still have my DG download on my PC too. Fuck.
>Game is less than 1% of the length of KS
>Still a better love story
If we're going by the original novel, Wikipedia says she's 21. (although the main character seems to think she looks younger than that)
"Why, I'm fourty-four, he thought wonderingly, and she's hardly more than twenty."
