The last 4 K2s have all been done by monkeyman and they've all had some super special gimmick that no other ship had prior. I don't ever want to hear of potato bias from any of you fags again. It's fucking monkey bias if anything.
>not liking based christian monkeyman
Monkeyman actually has good arts and her girls deserved it due to historical achievement.
I don't even think we can call him monkeyman anymore. ABKM and Kasumi current uniforms are fantastic.
Sounds like Wo trying to assimilate into human society.
You can see Kasumin earlobe slighly and you can see a cute girl at konishi twitter page.
>Most of the playerbase don't have a jet engine
>Still no sign of its usage
>Release a US-based item
>Jets have been overshadowed in seconds, everyone creams their pants
What the fuck, Tanaka?
MURICA FCK YEA
Glad I'm on the abyssal side. Nips gonna nip.
kinda salty about American ships desu
On the other hand it's better than even more DDs I guess.
I'm having a burger for dinner tomorrow
>tfw I am not a rankfag and has 300k resources
Fucking devs, they should actually motivate us to rank by telling us the rewards before hand.
Seems like all modern ships are now named after places in their country.
Probably due to a mindshift that the military is supposed to protect the country rather than an offensive conquering force.
Nigger the nip ships aren't any better, they are named after the same kind of shit as USN capital ships: provinces/states. They just sound cooler to you because you're an EOP weeaboo.
>I legit don't understand how unimaginative you have to be to just go down the list of states.
Totally unlike the Japanese, who named all their ships going down the list of provinces and geographical locations.
In the past, ship naming was very hectic. The 3 Seawolf subs ended up with a fish, state and president.
More recently there have been moves to enact more uniformity in naming. If I remember correctly carriers generally got past presidents, virginia class subs got states, destroyers got deceased persons of importance, LCS got important cities.
Others are important battles, explorers, military figures.
Oh wow I didn't know there were States or Cities named Hornet or Ranger.
>Island Wind and DDs
American DDs aren't named after states or cities either.
As for the others,
One of the anons you quoted did say geographic locations.
As one of the nips noted, Battleship Water Oni's triple 16-inch turrets look significantly different from the one given.
Iowa and New Jersey were at Hailstone, Nagato was not.
Historically the two battleships chased down and sank IJN ships that tried to escape from Truk. Iowa got Katori and NJ sunk Maikaze.
Their role in the battle was represented by the Battleship water oni's that showed up at the end of E-6.
>yfw filthy yankee will have shitty stast because GLORIOUS NIPPON STEEL superior than GAIJIN PIGGU
>1900 ranking point for 500th in my server
I feel lost anon, I was just an idiot who think I can compete in the server full of NEETs and close my score at 1800. fuck this. I will not compete again until I get Taihou out of LSC.
She looked like Nagato, she used 51cm in the same update that let Nagato use them, she came from the direction of the Bikini atoll, her damaged line was identical to Nagatos, and her sinking line was about getting nuked. Nothing else adds up quite like that.
christ you are thick
BBWO is not actually Iowa, her role at E6 represents Iowa's role at Truk.
Did the Wo's for the midway even have wildcats and dauntless? no, but the 3 groups still represented Enterprise, Yorktown, and Hornet.
>It was hopeless from the outset.
Nod really. At the start of hostilities IJN was better in all regards and was in fact the strongest navy on the planet. It took USA a lot of time to finally build enough ships to zerg rush IJN.
>It took USA a lot of time to finally build enough ships
It was over after Midway, which was literally 6 months into the war.
>to zerg rush IJN.
I think you've been drinking a bit too much of the YAMATO DAMASHII kool-aid.
RN shipgirls are all busy fishing tea out of the harbor
They're there. In places.
Just the worst one.
I hope you folks get Alaskas.
Maybe Warspite shows up by surprise this event.
Dented plate armor (from Jutland), tattered dress (she is queen Elizabeth class), and a sash with more medals than north korean generals.
Lastly a spear, upon which flies the Naval Jack and "Equal Speed Charlie London".
>It was over after Midway
USN was not overwhelmingly superior well into 1943.
>I think you've been drinking a bit too much of the YAMATO DAMASHII kool-aid.
Throwing shitload of cheap and expendable units(subs) to stop the enemy it literally zerg rush no matter how you spin it.
You're lacking a bit of knowledge about the war. Midway was a decisive victory for the USN and started a string of victories, but it still took a while afterwards for the USN to get complete dominance, especially in number. At one point Enterprise was the only allied carrier in the Pacific. Later we were shitting carriers.
The USN was superior by the middle of 1943, both tactically, technologically, and logistically. But everyone knew the war was over by the end of 1942, since the IJN had lost a great deal of their experienced aviators, engineers, and seamen.
>USN was not overwhelmingly superior well into 1943.
Japan couldn't replace its losses at all, while the USN could literally shit BBs and CVs and not even blink. Japan also had shitty pilots for the rest of the war since all of the good ones died at Midway, meaning the USN won every major engagement afterwards.
>Throwing shitload of cheap and expendable units(subs) to stop the enemy it literally zerg rush no matter how you spin it.
Sorry, only asians view their men as expendable.
>when I see an exercise fleet with a ship I don't have
That's precisely what I've said.
> while the USN could literally shit BBs and CVs and not even blink.
It still took time. At the outset of hostilities IJN was superior to USN in all regards.
>Sorry, only asians view their men as expendable.
Glad you've agreed with me about USN zerg rushing IJN at least.
>Sorry, only asians view their men as expendable.
Not him but USA has had a history of winning by attrition. Ulysses S. Grant resorted to pretty much that to finally get Robert E. Lee to surrender.
No they weren't, the IJN was really a league of their own in the early stages of the war. But, they overestimated themselves, and did not plan for a long bloody war of attrition.
No, the USN would surpass the IJN in night fighting by 1943. Advance radar was the trump card that swung the advantage in the American's favor.
What does any of this have to do with your argument about superiority from the start? Literally everyone knows what happened at Midway. It doesn't change the fact that we still weren't completely dominant until a bit afterwards.
Probably have better AA, LOS, and Luck too, but with inferior armor and health. In all honesty, you are probably going to be right. The Iowa was as big of a fuel hog as Yamato was, making her very inflexible.
Give it to Juubaori Mashumaro
source and reliability unknown
Does this mean I will soon be able to buy a figure of my shipfu and take a picture of it on her?
>recaptcha: Select all images with boats
not really, Iowa was very fuel efficient ship for her size. She was able to go some 40% further on one ton of oil, while South Dakota could do eve better, moving twice as far as Yamato on the same amount of fuel oil.
It wouldn't be completely awful, but yoshinori, fumikane, and even monkeyman would be better.
I'd like a new artist to show up, though.
This has more to do with low drag due to extremely thin hull. On full ahead she'd probably eat similar amount to Yamato due to geometric proportion of thrust required to propel such a huge ship as such speed.
Iowa may have been geometrically similar in propositions to the hotel but her displacement was less due to not carrying those crazy 46cm guns so it should be easier. Unless Japan had better engines.
Please for the love of god, anyone but Shitbafu please.
Parsley is good, he has shown that he can draw big blonde tits master race.
>During this action, Iowa, along with her sister New Jersey, sank the Japanese light cruiser Katori, the cruiser having escaped Truk the day before following Operation Hailstone
>Iowa sank the Japanese light cruiser Katori
>Iowa killed Katori
I can't wait for the in game awkwardness between them
with 212,000 SHP, no kidding.
At throttles full out Iowa's fuel efficiency goes from 1.8 NM/ton to 0.6NM/ton.
However, to match Yamato's top speed, Iowa only needs slightly more than half her engine power, and sits comfortably at 1.1 NM/ton fuel consumption, same as Yamato cruising.
>Iowa may have been geometrically similar in propositions to the hotel
Wut? Have you seen her IRL? She looks like stiletto heel strapped with guns and superstructure. Very ugly btw. Tomatos had absolutely different shape.
>so it should be easier
I don't know precise numbers, but to increase the speed of the same 27k ton Dreadnought from 18 to 25 knots RN had to increase the engine power 8 times. And the higher speed the larger the curve of proportion grows.
>At the outset of hostilities IJN was superior to USN in all regards
They weren't though. If they were, why did they suffer strategic defeats one after another since Coral Sea?
They also had that somewhat forgotten duel with Nowaki
If there really is an American ship coming, it is showing up in Spring not the Winter. Though I think you are right about releasing this now, the new event and all the new ship girls are going to be overshadowed by this.
They said Spring at earliest, but I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't released until Summer, with the event being Leyte and all the maps being an absolute shitfest.
Would be better than the trend of previous Summer rewards, though.
Yes, "if" we don't know all the details yet. For all we know, a new shop can open up, and some American weapons dealer is the one trading out Allied weaponry for some massive resource prices, and these cannons are just one of them.
>According to devs, this ranking reward is an early implementation of the equipment, while its global implementation would come this spring at the earliest, coming together with the implementation of new kanmusu(s) with this equipment within this year.
Okay then, it does look like a Iowa ship has a big chance of appearing. Things can change though, so I'm really only going to believe it when an actual ship girl appears on screen.
They're both really cute, but Kashima was a hidden gem for me. I thought she'd have sexy lines to go with her look but was taken completely aback by how cute her lines and voice was. This doujin did her justice.
Adding a USN ship is already going to cause a firestorm. Making it a shipboy will cause the entire fandom to implode on itself like a black hole and take the entire island of Japan with it.
Illinois and Kentucky were never completed to begin with, and Iowa, New Jersey, Missouri, and Wisconsin are all museum ships now.
Museum ships becoming ship girls just seems even weirder than incomplete ships. But I guess it doesn't matter.
I think it's more likely that they are just abandoning parts of their original idea so they can expand the game
Just like you said though it's not like the lore is really implemented in the game so meh
well, I can't imagine how long it would take for that fourth daihatsu to pay off the cost of training a second Kasumi, and I personally don't need one for third fleet because it's always exp.2
You don't have to understand Nip.
It's basically confirmed that Mk.7's +4 acc almost cancels out the overweight penalty. That means that once we're able to upgrade it, it will be good choice for every single BB even in combined fleet. It already is great choice for every single BB in single fleet.
From the image it looks like it's it looks like it's innately -5 accuracy overweight if you disregard the +4 accuracy it gives. I don't think the tester is doing anything to neutralize the +4.
Saying every single BB is premature. The test has only been done on Kirishima so far. Besides in combined fleets you're looking for accuracy to offset the penalty. With current guns a Kongou can comfortably reach the firepower cap in dokousen in combined fleets. I see no reason the 16 inch will change that unless it is actually fit on Kongou.
That's what I meant, including the +4 accuracy.
That's still huge, though. 24 firepower is a shit ton, and we have no idea what they're doing with the radar artillery spotting they mentioned.
>It's still in development, but radar spotted artillery is possible with the radar linked fire control system.
Obviously we don't know what this means yet since it's not implemented, but I think it's pretty important. If this means we don't need a seaplane for artillery spotting and instead can use a large radar + AP shell, I think it beats out Bismarck guns.
Though this feature might be exclusive to the actual Iowa-class ships.
Not sure if this has been asked already, but how did the Elevens react to the news that burgerbotes are finally coming?
Genuinely excited with a few unhappy ones? Or completely losing their shit?
As long as she's cute I guess I shouldn't complain.
Musashi looks alright and she's a real nigga
The tests suggests penalty is the same as 41cm but the +4 cancels it out. That means it's entirely possible 16in will behave just like 41cm on other ships as well.
If 16in becomes upgradeable, the best setup on Kongous would be Iowa + Bisko guns for great accuracy and over-cap power even in hankousen.
[ 98 + (17+4) + (24+4) + (8+3) + 15 ] * 1.1 * 0.8 = motherfucking 152.
SKC were introduced together with Prinz. Look at Pasta guns instead.
Kirishima lv 99 blah blah
Amount of guns
Amount of hits
Amount of shots
Difference compared to no eq
It was listed on danbooru as that.
Japanese stereotypes of america?A US gi half in and half out of raping a 5 year old
But it's for the best. Like Mizuho. She never took off despite being the best looking newships
So sad there's so little fanart of her.
>Missouri and Nagato fighting over Libeccio
>Kongou reaching damage cap in hankousen
>things that didn't exists are different from things that never happened
Implementing a planned remodel for a ship that actually existed is different from implementing a ship that never actually existed at all, yes. An entire shipgirl is not the same thing as a remodel.
Did y'all know that you don't always get +15 damage in combined fleets?
For suijou butai the main fleet gets +15, the escort fleet gets nothing.
For kidou butai the main fleet gets +7, the escort fleet gets +15.
They might do what I've seen some of these other DMM games do (Flower Knight Girl, Millenium War Aigis, etc) and make a Native American, tomahawk, headdress, the works.
50/50 chance whether she'll be black (because the Japs don't know the difference, see Aigis' girl) or white as a sheet (FKG).
>An entire shipgirl is not the same thing as a remodel.
And apples are different from oranges! Wow, no shit!
But we're not comparing apples to oranges. We're comparing the implementation of things that didn't happen, to the implementation of things that didn't happen. Contrary to popular belief, those two things are very alike.
You're right, Suijou is almost dead so it would be better to do calcs for KB.
In that case Kirishima achieves 150.48 damage in Kidou Butai main fleet.
The x1.1 still applies, right?
There's already a few discussions by netuyo disapproving the inclusion of allied ships.
They're even accusing gooks for such implementation. Which I don't fucking understand why they blame this shit on gooks.
Mainly because she's the nameship and it says Iowa right there on the gun. I can see them either introducing Iowa right away before drumming hype for a big release later for Missouri, or Iowa event reward
and Missouri drop.
