You wake to the sound of soft purring, open your eyes and instantly notice that color is less saturated & you are able to see more peripherally. Reds and pinks appear to be skewing blue. It's dark but you are able to see just fine. You scan your suroundings to discover that you are in a luxurious penthouse. But everything is 10 times bigger than you. You look cross eyed at your nose. Perfume quickly dodge the bubble barrage and maintain an almost hive-mindesque formation.
It is in shape contrast to the sloppy formation of HKT48, as the 1st rows of idols expode you notice that they are losing formation. Rushing forward to fill the 1st rows dwindling ranks.There pushing and shoving causes them to bunch up as they fight amongst themselves to take the front row. Perfume make quick work of this, focusing there isometric projectiles on the packs. It almost seems unfair.
Soon there is only one row and Perfume quickly finish them off. A power bar at the bottom of the screen fills up to a 1/4. Perfume is awarded 500 points.
Winner : Perfume. Flashes across the screen and a cute voice congradulates you.

Before you can pull your scenes out of an uncontrollable descent down the rabbit hole. All hell breaks loose. Dempa fall into a loose formation and focus fire A~chan with poisoning electromagnetic waves. You are helpless to control the outcome. Which is not pretty. To say the least. 8-bit piece of A~chan fly in every direction. She is gone. Leaving a lopsided triangle formation that leaves Nocchi's right flank open. Nocchi is covered in 8-bit pieces of A~chan and begins to take poison damage. It's a complete fucking Kawaii nightmare.
The projectile barrage doesn't stop. Perfume is grazed by the projectiles. They haven't even fired a single isometric barrage. It's like there external perception has been altered by the quirky, weird & intentionally strange looking radio waves. It comes apparent that it is extremely awkward to maneuver around the relentless barrage. The pace, the intensity.. What to do... what to do...quickly:
a. Use the power bar to remove the poison off of Nocchi . And apply a heal over time effect to Kashiyuka. It only seems smart to go on the defensive. Well, at least till you get your bearings.
b. kurikaesu kono polyrhythm motherfuckers!!! Polyrhythm time! You little bitches. Release an unrelenting world of hurt and misery on your seemingly unsuspecting opponents. Let's face it! The best defense is a good offense. Let's fuckn finish this.

Nocchi, working on the off beats focuses at their scattered formation., 1-2-3... there 8-bit pieces fly in every direction. The remaining Dempa members are caught up in the ever narrowing dueling loop. They have no choice but to move ever closer. Squezed like a lemon Dempa explode in an impressive 8-bit set. The looping rhythm fades out, completely empty of power. Talk about Hail Marying it.

The pacing of the first half of triangle (Take off, Love the World, Dream Fighter, Edge, Night Flight) is fantastic, imo, it hasn't been matched yet by him. Then the snoozers like Zero Gravity/Speed of Sound kick in but you still have some good tracks like I Still Love U/The Best Thing.

I'm not a natural vocals guy but I lost all respect for perfumes management team when I first saw perfume standing still, mouthing a song that didn't even have many vocals.
can't remember what the first time I saw it was but point is a good example.

they litrually are just standing moving their mouth. it's not their fault I'm sure A~chan if she could get her way would want to do a song like that live and she should there is no excuse they can use not to. the aren't dancing so it's not like they are going to run out of breath and fuck it up and it's not like the song is too effects heavy that it won't sound good.
