Yo T8 fellas, you've won me over. I choose this one.
subscribing to yuiyui's mobame is the best thing I did.
Everyone was after the yagi back in the day. Yuihan probably still cries herself to sleep remembering this.
>yui will never feel what it feels like have her feelings returned
I'm assuming you are not fluent in Japanese.
Watch all the subbed bingo. It should take you a month or 2 if you binge. During the process, you'll be led to other shows, movies and information. Don't worry about the songs. Those takes time. It can wait.
You'll be good enough to have conversation in this general by the time you are done. I'm always on AKBG. Just ask any questions about the past and it'll be answered.
History is needed in understanding AKB. Jumping in right in the middle and you'll be bombarded with terms you cannot even begin to understand.
Trust me, I just started wotaing a year ago. AKB has a long and interesting history and they are ALWAYS referenced. You need to start from the beginning.
Moreover, one of the most appeal of AKB is watching the members grow. And you get just that watching it from the start. Really, with Mako sitting quietly in ariyoshi until how annoying she is now,
Not >>14598657, but I started with old bingo and I'd do it again. It's like a compulsory history lesson imo. And eventually you'll get over the fact that those girls are all gone anyways.
Good but not fluent no.
I am really not sure about the music... I've been listening to a few tracks but its really not my tea. I am an old fellow who usually only posts in retro threads... I like cute things though.
Some may remember me as Marathon-kun from last year. I binged hard on AKBingo and posted about it. I watched from the first episode till the latest in about a month.
From my experience, IT IS IMPORTANT. I was confused by a ton of things about AKB and it all got sorted out over time. I just concentrated on bingo and slowly adding other shows as I get the drift of it.
Hey, I started AKB at 29. When I first started, it was for the variety shows and cute girls. I had absolutely no interest in their music, to the point I just skipped all parts about songs. But trust me, once you become a fan, they will grow on you.
I remember telling someone I will never like their music, now I own or at least watched all their concert blurays.
It's better star from where you want. Then, when you feel curious about something you just look for it. This way is more interesting. This way is more interestimg you aboid boring things
Hah, old by chan-standards.
You might be right.
I agree with this. Exploration from any point on is the most interesting apporach to any topic really. For me atleast.
Even if they're gone, at least you get to know some of what's going on even if it's a variety show. Plus, AKBINGO is an awesome show. It's still worth watching from the very first episode and I would probably watch them all again if I wanted to.
I kind of envy you. So much new content for you to consume. The pleasure of re-watching concerts and realizing that you know most of the members. You missed the old gen though but new gens are also good if not better because they learned a lot from their sempais.
I think anon already knows not to listen to Nogizaka shitposters if he had lurked.
It's not going to help him get to know the current girls though, which imho is the best thing for a potential new fan to focus on. History can come later.
But ultimately it's up to him what he wants to do.
I'm an old fellow as well but trust me, once you get into it there is no turning back. Plus, it's good anon. It's good to idolize.
I actually view them as my goddesses but honestly along the way, I would fantasize about being married by one of them. I know it's sad but I don't care...
That was kind of my dilemma as well. I mean, I like jpop but not like I did before and halfway of 2015, I just got into it again. Like an old flame that just grew back again. It's probably thanks to Perfume and AKB48's Koi Suru Fortune Cookie. Now I'm expanding my jpop library again for the first time in a long time. Besides, 48G music is not bad. One of the songs that grew on me was Give me Five! I didn't like it but it grew on me because of that five part AKBINGO episode? Where they had this small competition of amateur musicians.
There's no point in recommending Nogi to people. They should get into it on their own. Biases will ruin things otherwise.
I rarely like a *48 song on first listen except maybe Ruby, Ikiru Koto and Uza. It's usually after I see them perform it or watch the PV that I start to like them.
Yeah, I just got into them last year and I feel sad that I didn't follow them since the very beginning. Back in 2005, I was in high school and had so much shit to deal with and I was also into Jpop back then. I always wonder if I had caught their rise of popularity back then, I probably would have a lot of 48G stuff by now.
I know most of the old members already and still learning to get to know of the new ones. Past concerts are amazing. 1830m, the Tokyo Dome concert is fucking amazing.
>posting a scandal that happened in April 2015
Start with old shows just to constantly remember that you arrived too late.
She's still pure.
Full on lesbo for Megu and Yuiri.
There's even a really lewd fingering webm with Yuiri I wouldn't dare to post here
>There's even a really lewd fingering webm with Yuiri

HKT48 Zenkoku Tour in Yokohama Arena. It's the best concert bluray 48g ever released.
Amazing camera work, great sound mixing and superb production.
To be frank, concert wise, none of the other groups in 48G can beat HKT one. They are on a different level. My work is related to performance and mostly concerts and gigs. That bluray blew me away.
Shame about the film look (w/ black bars) on some of the videos. I get what they're doing, but it doesn't make for very good screenshots.
This was what happened to me.
I watched AKBingo and skipped all the new single introduction parts because I had absolutely no interest in them.
One fine day, I got a earworm from fortune cookie. I mean, the damn thing kept playing in my head. I starting youtubing every performances I can find and that was the only AKB song on my japanese playlist.
Next up was HKT. I started HKT48 no Odekake. I got bombarded with their singles. And the rest may have guessed it, Melon Juice. It's an insane song and I got addicted to it. And so I went down the HKT line of singles and I love every one of them.
Eventually you'll get used to their sound. And one day you'll be watching some 48g shows and hear a song and u think u like it and start looking for the title.
Before I know it, I have more than 30 48G songs on my playlist. And I listen to them whenever I'm down. They really do bring my mood up.
My personal OTP because I love this pic so fucking much.
Which songs, might I ask?
That sweet feeling of having a beautiful girl look another beautiful girl in the eyes.
Not him but I'll give you my top 20 if you give me yours.
Two of my favorite girls, in the same picture. This is what it's all about.
This is the year. Shimada will rank and only go up from there. I'm feeling it.
The rest who replied are not me. I took a screenshot. Some songs are missing, like KFC but they are on top of the list.
My pleasure. I wish I had started sooner though, since I got the BDs before New Years, but wasn't sure if I should encode them or not. That and Avisynth kept crashing on the longer ones, so I ended up switching to Vapoursynth somewhere in the middle.
Please respond, I never have loved anyone. I just don't want to die without knowing what love is.
Some time look at this extremist wotas and I wonder if they reaaly fall in love.
The exact ranking depends on mood, but I'll list 20 that stand out from my Best of 48 playlist (not in any particular order):
1. Show Fight!
2. Kondo Koso Ecstasy
3. Enjoy Your Life! (Kasai Tomomi)
4. Doshaburi no Seishun no Naka de (NMB48)
6. Kimi no Uso wo Shitteita
7. Sekai ga Naiteru nara (SKE48)
8. Ikiru Koto

20. Goodbye Guitar (NMB48)
+ about 55 more
The camera work and editing are just amazing. I watched all of them in 3 days even though they are almost the same performance.
I pirated it but I ordered the actual one immediately after watching. Even for non idol fans, I showed it to my colleagues just for the technical details.
I'm a hypocrite to say that I don't believe in love but my love for my oshimen is just to the limit as worshiping a goddess or even idolizing them as a princess or even as your sister perhaps. Maybe I escape the real love but to only have another kind of love for that one girl in the 48G to still grasp that kind of feel but in reality I know I'll never have it in real life. My point is overall, it's as far as I can go when it comes to love and I'm okay with that.
Post yours. Lets see how pirate you are.
>8. Ikiru Koto
You are a man of excellent taste.
I don't hide my fandom. No one finds it bizarre maybe because I'm asian. Friends and family just kinda got used to it after I couldn't shut the fuck up about how exciting 48G fandom is.
You are a leecher, not a pirate. Don't glamorize yourself.
And I should add that this is only 10 months of activities
What even is that paltry excuse for a ratio
I have no idea what that reference is.
I wanted to say that I'm not a pirate. And I dont contribute to pirace. I donwload what is impossible to buy.
It's not just about the concert, mate. It's the sound mixing and the camera work. I watch all concerts on headphones and many 48G soundmixing are pure awful.
Zenkoku Tour was perfect. Allowing you to immerse in the concert.
He didn't have to. He's clearly a Sakurafag. Nothing wrong with that. Just calling him out on that lengthy post.
To you it's perfect. I work for concerts and sub sequential offline editing so our opinions differ.
I'm a sound engineer with a masters in lighting design working for concerts in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and Japan. I watch a lot of concert s on bluray but I do my work at the venue itself. I'm not involved in post production in anyway but I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about.
Our opinion may defer, but as an sound engineer, there's no way anyone else will think that it's less than perfect.
And my oshimen is not Sakura. It's Owada Nana.
Posting more than an image is a lengthy post.
Friendly neighborhood eye-bleaching service is here to help. Have a Superior Asuka.
Can't find video but in one of the older AKBINGO episodes, Achan met her fan and wanted her to cook omurice for him. At least the fans that members meet are not as weird as that guy is but I can tell how nervous they really are when they meet their oshimen in person. I would also lose my shit and not know what to do if I met mine in real life.
>I work for concerts and sub sequential offline editing so our opinions differ.
The other anon is definitely more convincing than you and sound like he knows what he is talking about.
You are just sprouting ur disapproval and end the post with some generic terms. You started talking about the concert being bad. When people pointed out that they are talking about the technical aspect, you just came out to say you are the industry?
Come on, dude. You gotta try harder than that.
I have a thing for lips and winks. Especially winks. Any idols who can wink properly captures my heart.
Nigga, you can't make posts like these and then mess up the grammar yourself.
winking without fucking up half of your face. I cringe everytime nagisa tries to wink.
Fuck. If I knew she was going to do handshakes after she graduated, I would have gone and shook her hand instead of going to her last theater show.
marika marika marika mari--ka
hmm hmm hmmm hmm
hmm hmm hmmm hmm
Or even better: actually watch every single thing she did over last year. Girl managed to piss everyone off, fans, members and production included.
Is there other any talented Idol as Ikuta is? Is Ikuta what we can call a true Idol?
>elf > midget > human > shit > gollum
>watch December LOD
>komi *still* teaching her catchphrase at first MC
>everyone is bound to know it. she goes for it
>only other members and like 5 guys answer her, half-assedly
Also, during those days were the last time her comment count reached even 400 replies. At this very moment she's at 241.
Alcoholism is not something to joke about, and is definitely not the image of an idol.
Everyone respects and loves Ikuchan, even 48G's, as she's gentle, educated, talented, and cutesly funny.
looks like a standard collection of "hobbies" that the vapid petite-bourgeoisie impose on their children in an avid search to attain cultural capital, jumping from one to the another because they never manage to excel at anything. "speciality: ballet" certainly sounds better than "went to ballet classes for a couple of years with no relevant results except for the chance to embellish an otherwise mediocre curriculum and the opportunity to boast about it".
He didn't say Momoscrotum, which by the way has nothing to be addicted of since they're already owakon.
I don't hate her. Not sure I'd go as far as saying I like her though.
have you opened your canned idol today?
Easy: Ikuchan was the only one capable of lifting him up after Komi failed to him.
the ikuta meme is a complete reverse of her actual self. the komi meme is straightforward.
Ikuta: gentle, considerate, humble, educated, talented, respectable, good at comedy.
Komi: rude, braty, conceited, stupid, untalented, sketchy, good for comedy (ridiculous).
Are you that guy who couldn't grasp the difference between multiple and divisor? They're exact opposites. Pic related is the closest they'll ever get to be like each other.
That's your choice. I don't hate her, and won't let how a few random anons feel have any bearing on what I choose to post.
Sounds like you always felt this way. Pretending others suddenly changed your mind seems silly. Especially considering that the complaints about Ikuchan in this specific thread have been very weak compared to some of the others.
No. 1000 years isn't Chinese.
You brought this upon yourself:
There's also the meru tomu time, when her voice was weak all the way until literally cracking, but let't s leave at that.
The rest is obvious. You have to be beyond new or deluded not to acknowledge it. As said before, her shameful status is unanimous.
Aw, come on anons. Surely, you would at least go to a handshake event and meet them because I would.
Even if they come to my house and we wouldn't know much of each other's fluent language, I would try to interact anyhow.
There is something about her I didn't like when I was binge watching akbingo. I just don't know what it is. She can't be the next "ace" of AKB48. She doesn't have anything like any of the past members has.
