Endless shitposting about codecs edition

Thought that was just speculation/shitposting.
If it's real he sure is unlucky, and comiket staff sure is retarded.
Hopefully we get the c89 album on Reitaisai instead of another fucking BOSSA NOVA.
The catalog lists participating circles, correct? Someone would just have to look through that for Shibayan and if he isn't in there, then it's either because he didn't win the lottery or didn't enter in the first place. If his circle is listed there then I guess he just couldn't attend due to some personal reason.
New Yonder Voice, it' a v0 from dojin.co
I think there is a flac somewhere too but those asswipes deleted the link
This is probably the best album uploaded so far and a surprise for me since I didn't see/find it on the crossfade list before the event.
But NEO ARK and JP-H/D#06 fucking when?
Does anyone here have this album? I did lurk everywhere but without luck
I'm actually surprised you didn't know of it previously if you're waiting for NEO ARK and JP-H/D#06. Also hoping someone gets Sensation in the Sky and Shotbass EP.
Agreed, the remix CD was better than expected too.
I just somehow didn't see it on the list. Probably because spreadsheet has it listed as MEGAREX, and I can't actually say I remember seeing that being listed for anything else before at all(where if it was listed as lapix I would've recognized it immediately).
I didn't actually know about it until a friend linked the crossfade saying the album seemed pretty okay.
Psychedelic Tokyo Underground is pretty top-tier, too.
But overall the album in its entirety is pretty solid, which is surprising since it's a two disc.
>Undead crop will never make a shakuhachi album ever again
Wow, disk 2 of this was surprisingly shit compared to disk 1.
>New dBU doesn't have stage 4 or 5
>Pure Furies arrange isn't anything special
I'll be a bit optimistic and say I'm glad nothing ended up as disappointing as their Little Princess arrange though.
Amateras Records - Trip to Fairyland
Pizuya's Cell in flac up via DS
I take back what I said about ZYTOKINE being bad earlier, it just needed a bit of growing on me and now it's hard to stop listening. My confirmation bias prevented me from liking it the first 1-2 times around since I had convinced myself that he couldn't possibly make another good album after 2 full ones in C88.
Pretty ridiculous how Linjin can be this prolific, guy is like a track-creating machine.
Seconding for also waiting on the lossless fix and suffering until then whilst waiting.
I'll get on it right after I finish one of the はちみつれもん albums. It's pretty good, even though it's not really my kind of music.
A very lounge-music type of affair. Makes me want to nurse some sort of liquor.
someone finally uploaded Zhelenaught (although it's 320kbps)
Why everyone waiting for BlackLotus now? I felt I was the only one while waiting for the other D'vas.
There is something about Yoshikawa no one else does it, I keep getting addicted to his works for years.
TANO*C JINGLE COLLECTION
Unlucky Morpheus - Rebirth Revisited
Break the Method
Diverse System C89 Special Remixes EP
I was surprised by UI-70 album coming back with metal arrangements, of course their long ago works were so awesome but after a successive bad albums I liked this new one tho
Fox Laboratory yes was great
And Foxtail-Grass Studio
I haven't listen yet Tokyo Active NEET's
Ok, I never really liked ZYTOKINE all that much, but whoever rec'd Little Wheel Adamine and Euclase in the last thread was right. They're the best I've ever heard of them and worth it to keep.
I did listen to it before, but something about the EQ, or the instrument selection really bugged me. Not sure what exactly it is though. They aren't bad so I'll keep it regardless. The two Little Wheels are probably the only ones that I most definitely like still.
Anon who was downloading Kamome Sano music from http://pan.baidu.com/s/1sjPqquD#render-type=grid-view&path=%252F%25E6%25B2%2599%25E9%2587%258E%25E3%2582%25AB%25E3%2583%25A2%25E3%2583%25A1, are you still here? Did you manage to get TRAIN? When I enter the folder it just tells me "没有数据". Of course that was the last one I was going to download too.
Does this seem legit?
This is my favorite album by Camellia, (TRIPPERS) and I really want it in lossless, but it's unfindable online. So I'm gonna buy it, but my jap isnt great. Is the auction for this already done?
I always get a little scared and confused because I can never listen to every album, but I'm pretty happy with the Tano*C Jingle album. I haven't listened to that many otherwise.
On a related note, how difficult is it to get an invite to what.cd? My brother got in and he won't stop gloating about it.
I have a large amount of bandwidth for seeding and I could certainly contribute with lossless rips of undocumented albums.
Anyways, I really appreciate the find for TRIPPERS.
I was gonna buy it but El Dorado was only purchasable as a freebie that comes with a ticket for the illustrator's autograph session at the studio DEEN industry booth. Didn't realize I couldn't just walk in and buy
Doing the interview isn't that hard. As long as you know about difference between different bitrates and lossy/lossless encoding you should be able to get in. The part that sucks is that you'll usually have to wait hours in the IRC channel before the interview actually happens.
The new Unlucky Morpheus album seems pretty dull compared to their original REBIRTH album. Especially Saynay's theme. Maybe I'm just being a prick about it but its one of my first real albums that I like from 2hu.
Phreak was my husbando back in the good years of LoL.
No good Pandemonic planet arranges?
I just spent 7 over hours combined in queue and in an interview to get into What.CD. And it doesn't seem to have anything of interest. I thought maybe it actually had stuff, since anon found an unfindable Camellia album there. I checked just now, and found it on two other trackers.
At least I can now make sure than when I can't find something, I'm even more certain it doesn't exist.
I too spent an entire afternoon trying to get in that site but I failed. Good to hear the albums aren't there (I was looking for D'va BlackLotus). Maybe someone will upload it eventually (I hope).
Obscure jap shit is the worst to try and find. It could be on astost, it could be a private upload on sows, it could randomly happen to be on what or waffles, it could only exist as dead links on defunct blogs. It's all a crapshoot. That said, what.cd is the most complete overall music resource out there.
>ノコギリシャルロット -Black Label-
Wow, this album is awesome.
Is there actual game?
How does sows work? I get that it's a Bemani tracker, but is there regular audio files there as well? I suppose it would be foolish to try to get in anyway, if I don't even play.
Anyway, yeah. I suppose it makes actually finding stuff more satisfying.
what.cd generally has less Japanese music and doujin music than jps. Probably the only time you'll see something that's on what.cd and not on jps is because jps has it banned for uploading.
It's all supposed to be bemani related, but a lot of j-coreish stuff kind of gets a free pass for whatever reason. They also have a 'sows exclusive' tag that means you should avoid uploading it if you don't want the usual butthurt fallout. It's just another minor resource that's sort of worth having.
I know exactly what you mean, but I believe he has the potential for keeping the uniqueness but still do different things. He needs to change generators etc.
Check this example:
It doesn't even look like he made it alone, because these ones look like he took care of the audio quality for once this time.
I honestly don't know how to label his type of music.
there's rhythm game/bemani general
either cum on a pic mayumi/prim and post it there, or lurk in IRC and draw a picture of their mascot Cindy from pop'n and send it to one of the mods
who will then print it out, cum on it, and then invite you.
I see what you mean, you can tell them apart pretty easily although there's somthing that tells you instantly it's -45 who composed them. I like the 1st track more than the 2nd by the way.
He probably had to try hard since it is a commercial product and all.
> he has the potential
Give him time.
He just recently learned how to not fall into cacophony every time (MayLily album show it), well, at least i hope he did.
He need more time to grow.
It's this comiket's toranoana promo CD, they get a bunch of different circles to contribute songs for it. Depending on the group the songs could be completely new (I know that diao ye zong/RD-Sounds, Sally, and monochrome-coat tend to submit new stuff) or just reprints from older albums.
I've stalked him before to the point he kinda stopped music and tried to be a drawfag, but he kinda failed I guess, he just needs to stop being a pussy and dedicate himself to music.
If it was just that easy to describe.
He does something new which sounds nice, I would call it baroque psytrance or something.
He needs to increase the sound quality of his work to be worth mentioning more.
I would like you guys to think about Yoshikawa music and look at this specific psytrance track then:
What do you think?
Aphasia, Betrayer'Q, C18H27NO3, Caliburne, Carolina Reaper, 悔恨コロッセオ, G1ll35 d3 R415, Jormngand or Jormungand (as I'm not sure if one of them's a typo and both versions I have sound different), to name a few.
>With classical motifs
i don't really know what that means. do any of these satisfy that requirement or were you just making a point that he's the only artist that uses such a technique? LV.4 sounds similar to him imo.
>3 minutes in
Track has no identity so far.
>4 min in
Two opportunities to change something well wasted
Nothing special, no identity at all.
Now compare it to this https://u.pomf.is/hporxm.mp3
and try to tell me that Menog is better.
Nothing like Yoshikawa.
But they work together and stuff.
I don't think hes similar, but I like LV.4 waiting for [CODE-49 (LV.4)] WEEKEND ASSASSINS too.
Same album, from Yoshikawa this track:
What you linked there is a completely different style. And by the way, one of the best songs from Yoshi until now.
What I asked to check on that Menog track if it could match the complexity in the melody part, like Yoshi does, matching the kind of Baroque motifs in a song. Its hard to describe sorry if looked confusing, I can be an autist sometimes.
Finally at last:
Any thoughts on the new album?
I'm a bit disappointed because there are basically 3 fillers songs on it, but I really dig "Q" and "幻灯花" so far, while the rest has a solid 4 stars in my library.
>match the complexity in the melody part
Cannot, it's obvious that Menog track has a lot of "room" left. In -45 case he rarely have any space left, sometimes he even put too much and fall into cacophony.
>matching the kind of Baroque motifs
Didn't notice any, care to point out?
Lets see you hold us back
Can't stop us now
Don't feel the darkness
Just keep your eyes open
You can depend on me
'Cause I know how
To take you to a world where you're reality
No more fear
No more doubt
Until we can find alone
Let's just fire grown bottle
Hands we take 'cause now is the time
Just follow me to the outside
There is nothing to withstand the fire when perfect comes
Just follow me to the new world
Let's kick the door open there's so much still to go through
Just follow me, enjoy the ride
You don't have to bill a joy-a-con when perfect comes
Just follow me, I got your back
Let's come together jfojkf,afasd wherever
I was never any good at understanding song lyrics in any language.
It's just because it can spam the thread I don't know, let me try then.
Menog track, around 3 minutes, has this two things beside the beat, one is a creepy choir and the other is this pattern of notes, melody, where it seems to be complex like a baroque music piece or, in this case, Yoshi music. Teh same happens again around 7:30 in this upload of the complete Menog track I will post here:
Something similar but not exactly the same case, in this menog track around 5 minutes:
Reminder that they don't have the same style, but I caught something that reminded me of Yoshi, from Menog.
Baroque is what I found to describe the melody, because of Bach, which is one of his inspiration artists.:
Good, I am not crazy about it after all.
It's still not as bad as being disappointed every single year hoping butaotome releases another 8 album with tamachan x ranko or yurica x ranko arrange.
Sorry to bother you guys again, but does anyone have Diffraction in FLAC or MP3 320? I only have very low bitrate V2 for some reason.
I liked this album so far.
Anything else similar to songs posted above?
Pretty similar album.
holy shit what a pain in the ass mega doesn't let you share links without an account, filedropper uses flash, and this wetransfer shit took forever and fucking finally 4chan thinks my bullshit is spam and will probably ban me if I fuck up the links again
Isn't it heartbreaking when you find an album that could be decent at the very least, but it gets completely murdered by bad vocals? This one even has a cute cover art (too lazy to look for it in a better resolution though, blame whoever attached this tiny thing to the files).
everytime I see meramipop listed as vocal
What does /jp/ think of these headphones? Theyre Koss Porta-Pros for plebeians.
What would you suggest? I've been wanting to upgrade my audio receptors. I've been stuck with JBL pebbles for my desktop speakers, and these not-so-bad Koss Porta Pros as headphones for many years.
more hyped about the other one actually
> he promised to up them yesterday.
> he lied
> i died with the other guy begging for it on there
> harakiri isnt a bad way to go u kno?
I'm getting these three albums soon.
So damn hype, the last one has two exclusive Calla Soiled tracks and another by aran. It was insanely difficult to track down as well.
And the wait
sufferingfor a lossless version of this continues
The japanese love their psuedonyms, and twitter is one of the only major social media sites that isn't pushing real names hard. The 140 character limit is also easier to manage in japanese than in western languages. Those are my guesses.
I'm amazed and disappointed that wavforme and electro.muster still arent uploaded. I expect to wait a while for some albums, but these two I figured would have been uploaded very quickly.
You're Leggysalad anon, right? Are you still here? The links you sent me were down by the time I woke up and was able to check them. Would you be okay with sending them to me again at the same email address?
I'm assuming it's a K-On! arrange album, アフタースクールダンスエイジ by the circle Voltecks Rec. It was released back in 2011 but I don't think anyone has uploaded it anywhere. Maybe it was uploaded to astost years ago and/or in the EX section there, but I don't have the improved search ability or access to that section so I can't check.
The original site is gone but you can see who made tracks for the album here:
It's a very rare K-On album with tracks by Calla Soiled, Leggysalad, y0c1e, aran and some other dude.
The crossfade is absolutely god-tier.
No I also want one very badly, as it (lo and behold) has a Calla Soiled track on it
Crossfade is pretty good too
Might have to make a request on what.cd but M3-26 was so damn long ago
I really want it because of the pandaboy and mononofrog_4sk tracks, I love their works. It'd be worth a shot making a request on what.cd, asking on astost might get us nowhere. You know what those guys are like when it comes to sharing.
If you do get it from somewhere, would you please share it here?
ME TOO. Holy fuck, Leggysalad's music is so good. I love y0c1e's tracks as well.
What.cd might not be any better, it was released in 2010 and its obscure Japanese dojin work as well.
Help me look on Japanese auction sites for it. I'm willing to proxy it, if it can be found.
This is bullshit though , I just sent my invoice to my proxy to send all my items today. I wouldve gladly gotten it but I've already annoyed the girl at treasure-japan enough recently.
Meanwhile the other site ships internationally and has zero shipping cost.
But its 48USD with no tracking code/insurance. Seeing as the CAD is piss-weak right now, that costs me like 67$. Not counting tax
Meanwhile with the proxy service, its 2300yen + 500fee + 1200 shipping, so like 60 CAD
The Canadian dollar really sucks right now, doesn't it? If my Paypal worked and I wasn't broke I'd gladly send you some cash to help out towards this, but unfortunately things aren't working out.
I guess the proxy service would be the best one to go with? Even though it's only slightly cheaper. Do you think you'd get hit by import fees as well?
Yeah same, but its not even 6am in Japan yet so I'm gonna take a nap. Cross your fingers and hope that nobody buys it from suruga while im asleep (especially not a /jp/ anon to spite us ;_;)
P*light - HAPPYNATION #03
Fill in the missing /.
Not even a KANcOLLE fag and yet I can't stop listening to this shit
>shit I hope that doesn't show up in the audio
Hello ! Does anyone have S!N and Sekihan's new album mochuu mimai yet ? (http://utaitedb.net/Al/7301)
Same for aqua planete by various utaite (http://utaitedb.net/Al/7315)
thank you so much ! ^^
They've gone through thee kind of distinct sounds. Originally it was more gothic rock sounding stuff like this:
The best album for this stuff would probably be Merciless Lazuli Rose or Prunus Centifolia
Then they added a bunch of electronic elements, which was still pretty solid:
Look at Nouvelle Maliee and possibly Grand-Guignol for this
But recently, they've dropped a lot of the rock/metal elements and they feel kinda generic:
Anything after Grand-Guignol is like this.
Isn't this Yui from Yahari? Does the album have renditions of music from the series?
So Kasen cosplaying Yui, or the other way around?
the new kishida album
Wait, are these two the only ones taken down? I thought Mega got hit with a mass DMCA or something when I couldn't download them.
New Zytokine is literally the only reason I came to this thread, fuck my luck.
Listening to the crossfade atm, doesn't seem so bad. At least it has some interesintg symphonies and chants mixed up in there sometimes. Sounds miles better than Kamelia's cystallized album, I was so dissapointed and bored by the generic sound that I didn't finish it
