Faries and in turn impurity are just the kryptonite to the Lunarians' Superman. A really specific weakness that keeps things on a somewhat even keel and gives others a chance against them. It doesn't mean they're still not really fucking OP. Essentially being ascended celestials and having all the tiers of gods in their ranks I believe the Lunarians would trounce them, but they're sort of playing for the same team, anyway.
On most browsers, you can bring up your browsing history by pressing Control-H. (No, this is not going to become a discussion of werecows.) On Firefox, this brings up a sidebar that shows up on the left side of the window. If you put your mouse over the edge of the sidebar, the cursor will turn into a different kind of arrow. By clicking and dragging it, you can move the edge of the sidebar back and forth. You are, to put it another way, manipulating the border between the normal window and the history window. By moving the mouse, you can increase the portion of the window devoted to either part. In a more extreme view of this situation, you're increasing or decreasing the amount of existence the sidebar has.
>>14566864 Now, let's apply this idea to something more abstract. Look out your window. If you don't live in a highly urbanized area, you should be able to see the horizon. Think of this as the border between the land and the sky. The land and sky are obviously distinguishable thanks to this boundary. Now, if you were to "drag" the sash between the sky and the land, or to manipulate the border between land and sky, you would end up causing the sky to become larger and the land to become smaller, or vice versa. An effect of this might be to cause something that was just on the ground to suddenly be hundreds of feet in the air. Truly a frightening situation to be in. So, look at it this way - manipulating the border between two physical things shifts whatever balance there is in the interaction between those things. Alternatively, by manipulating the border between two things, you can change the manner in which they exist.
>>14566868 Still, this isn't *that* abstract, since it's still dealing with real things in the real world. Many believe that in this world, there are those things that are true, and those that obviously aren't. This divides reality into two extremes: truth and falsehood. But, since we have two extremes, logically one can imagine a boundary between those two extremes - the border between truth and lies. If one were to manipulate this border, suddenly things that were pure fantasy (flying pigs, for the sake of argument) have become reality - or things from reality have ceased to exist. This is how Yukari is said to have invaded the moon - by manipulating the border between truth and lies, as applied to the reflection of the moon on a pond, she was able to make the reflection of the moon into a manifestation of the actual moon, and so send her youkai army onto it. This is what's truly amazing about Yukari's power - the ability to manipulate the border between completely abstract concepts allows her to fundamentally change reality as we know it (at least in terms of two abstract concepts).
>>14563129 They're pretty much the same thing, but Lunarians seem to have better tech. I don't think we've seen any "average" Lunarians, which makes it hard to judge.
Y'see, nine out of ten celestials are weaker than hermits, even though celestials are the "evolved" form of hermits. It's because hermits need to train hard to keep their status, but even a random anon could become a celestial if they convinced the right gods to zap them with angel beams.
>>14563900 To be fair, Suika is a Deva of the Mountain. A deva is a non-human beings who share the characteristics of being more powerful, longer-lived, and, in general, much happier than humans, although none of them are worthy of worship. Even prideful tengu bow before her.
Talking about strong beings. Kasen can "guide" / control any beasts, even divine ones such as dragons, Raijuu etc. And her ability also work on beast youkai. Imagine if she could get a hand on her own kyuubi.
>Wait, wasn't Chang'e the boss of the Lunar Capital.... No, or was the boss Tsukuyomi?
>We don't even know if there is a boss. In terms of image it's Takamagahara, so there might be someone even greater that just doesn't feel like showing up. It's easy to imagine that someone is there, though. In terms of Takamagahara, not even Eirin has that high of a position. But there are probably more than just gods there.
"In terms of Takamagahara" I think he's referring to Eirin as Omoikane. Amenosagume, the gods the Watatsukis are based on, Omoikane, none are really that high ranking when taking into account all the classes of gods.
>>14566864 >>14566868 >>14566873 A reminder that Yukari had to wait for a very specific event to travel to the true moon. A reminder that Yukari's powers couldn't do shit about a girl with a fan (admittedly one with the power of a nuke, but I digress.) A reminder that Yukari has never actually been seen manipulating any metaphysical, conceptual boundaries. A reminder that just because Yukari's power has unlimited potential, doesn't mean Yukari can fully utilize all that potential. A friendly reminder that one of the only sources of info we have on Yukari's power is Yukari herself.
>>14573073 >We only met one. Did you just never bother to play LoLK? Once you get to stage 5, where Clownpiece is located, you encounter hoards of fairies. Clownpiece even refers to herself and being part of a group of fairies, rather than being solo on the moon.
