Why didn't she just have Hanyuu follow Tomitake? If she didn't think of it, she's a retard, and if she did but Hanyuu refused, she's a retard for trusting Hanyuu so long.
Why would a miracle of the universe be so stupid?
How many times has Rika lost her virginity?
2x Satoko's uncle
1x Scam artist villager who sells the takiyaki without meat
Erika is a miracle of the universe.
Rika is my favourite Higurashi and I love her very much but that love is strictly platonic. When it comes to girls whose butts I'd lick as they sit on my face and give wedding rings too, Rena wins that contest and Rika is dead last.
Do you mean Slutoko?
I fucking love that image! Rika is so dreamy!
Shit, I meant to say that in >>14538030! Just fucking kill me, please!
*pats your head*
There there, everything will be ok...
It's just an honest mistake
Which Rika would you love, /jp/?
And better nobody say Erika.
Bern is my waifu
Erika is best Rika
What are you talking about? Sexual thoughts about pure, innocent Rika are horrible.
I would never suggest removing Rika's clothes and licking her tiny body all over, nibbling her neck and kissing her adorable little nipples.
Only a heartless monster would think about her cute girlish mouth and tongue wrapped around a thick cock slick with her saliva, pumping in and out of her mouth until it erupts, the cum more than her little throat can swallow. The idea of semen overflowing, dribbling down her chin over her flat chest, her tiny hands scooping it all up and watching her suck it off her fingertips is just horrible.
You're all a bunch of sick perverts, thinking of spreading her legs, cock poised at the entrance to her pure, tight, virginal pussy, thrusting in, taking her cherry in one quick stroke, listening to her quickening breathing, her girlish moans and gasps, her flat chest rising and falling rapidly as she reaches her climax, hearing her cry out softly as she has her first orgasm and feels a man's cum flooding through her freshly-deflowered pussy for the first time.
You're all freaks. Rika's too pure for anyone to imagine her in such a terrible situation, and anyone who does is evil, evil, evil.
You forgot those homeless camps outside Hinamizawa. They've bound to have got her a few times.
I'm mad that we are talking about a whore in a Rika thread. I should not have bullied you. Sorry.
Stop telling me what to do.
How is Bern well written? She's not bad, it's just that she's hardly written at all. Lambda, sure, she has some character development, but Bern's whole thing is being an unrelenting cunt right up until the end. There's more depth even to Erika.
You take that back!
Talk shit get hit
The way I see it, she was at first too young to make a proper plan, and at the time where she began getting more mature she was already depressed about it and wasn't really looking for her murderer anymore.
She's, like, ten, dude. What would fighting skills have done to help her against the army? The one-sided battle in Masturibayashi cannot possibly be indicative of how bad Yamainu actually are. I mean, Akasaka is punching through trucks. There is clearly some divine intervention going on.
Remember, Rika did once hide in the forest for weeks and only made it into July before she was captured (did Takano manage to stay in power that long, or did Nomura and Okonogi take over? How did Tokyo not notice and reassert their command before then?). She was playing against a stacked deck. Her only way out was to solve the mystery, and her only ally was either a complete retard or actively working against her.
Rika did her best. How much more can we ask of her? It isn't as if she got to read her own autopsy report. How can you investigate before the crime has been committed?
She's not as bad as Battler at least.
Battler was a complete idiot, but Rika was still much worse. Battler had twelve days on the gameboard and probably less than a few weeks in meta. Even accounting for Rika's age, the total lack of help, and the fact that she had no one to explain the rules and walk her through everything like Battler did, she still should have solved it in less than a century. She could have done an exhaustive search of everyone in that time. If she hadn't been so focused on keeping the happy-loli persona up, she could have been searching houses and knifing strangers to see if it changed anything. Plus, she had much better control over herself on the board than Battler did. She could have acted, but took Hanyuu's advice to give up instead.
You can argue about who was more incompetent, but Rika is definitely cuter than any Umineko.
Even Maria is cuter when you think about what an old hag Rika is.
>Battler was incompetent even when it was on easy mode.
Not like he really knew the rules back then, and the fact he didn't want to make one of the members of his family a murderer was pretty fair as well.
Rika is basically a horrible monster that invades a little girls mind, destroys it, and takes over her body whenever she dies. That's why Satoko best girl.
Satoko is sweet, but is not a miracle of the universe.
>she could have been searching houses and knifing strangers to see if it changed anything
Except that if it worked, she would have had to live with the weight of that murder all her life. And anyway, it's not like she could have done that. No, she should have done something like >>14531064 said, that's one actual decently realistic plot hole.
She seems fine with the weight of watching her friends kill each other repeatedly without attempting to intervene (and sometimes antagonizing then and making it worse). She's even fine with her own parents being killed.
Rika is excited to meet new people.
Battler had the meta equivalent of 1000 years, the same length of time Beato existed (the 2 days stretched out to 1000 years worth of games) Granted his piece would "reset" with each gameboard because he wasn't allowed the advantage of being elevated to the Meta until he was under Bern's protection.
He's incompetent because he had 1000 years of random luck followed by 4 games of easy mode where his opponent actually wanted to lose and he still didn't win in time to save her.
Even when he solved the "who and why dunnit" he didn't figure out the "how dunnit" until game 6.
Rika started her life in a logic error with a damaged Hanyuu and no idea what game she was supposed to be playing. She had to miraculously figure out the victory conditions and even the rules to play the game all on her own. She would forget most of what happens on the day she's killed including who attacks/abducts her. She also has to keep all her friends safe or else winning isn't worth it.
Combine that with the randomness of the KAKERA and the random friend going L5 on top of it and its almost impossible to figure out, even in 100 years. She also didn't have access to the meta, Bernkastel and Hanyuu were in charge of setting up the KAKERA for her and they did a shitty job until the the last 3 games.
>Battler had the meta equivalent of 1000 years, the same length of time Beato existed (the 2 days stretched out to 1000 years worth of games)
Not disagreeing, but where exactly is that bit stated? Or is this pre-EP1 shenanigans?
There is a game. It is Hanyuu's fault of course but she basically left Rika to do the all the work.
Meta-Battler didn't exist until Ep.1, but piece Battler did. Piece Battler could't remember elements of other games until Bern elevated him to the Meta has her piece.
The hope for Beato was that ANY "Battler" would remember his sin and put her out of her misery, and she stated more than a few times that she has been playing against him for 1000 years which is why she gave up after Ep.4 which spelled everything out for him and he STILL couldn't get it.
The only Battler of any importance is Meta-Battler though, who did have a consciousness that spanned gameboards.
I don't think that EP5 and EP6 Battler could remember the other games. I do think that was a consequence of the blurring of the Metaverse and the gameboard, but I don't think that that is the same as Piece-Battler merging with Meta-Battler so much as Beato and Battler being used as standins for new players. There isn't much memory of EP5 by EP6-Piece-Battler. Sure, he knows to fuck with Erika, but was being a super cunt in that one to everyone, and they all hated her.
And if we can believe Beato that she played against him for 1000 years, why not believe Featherine that a thousand years can be fit into an afternoon?
1000 years is R07's way of making Yasu's life as a rape baby seem ten times worse than Rika being repeatedly forced to watch her friends kill each other and then being killed herself. Likewise, giving her 10 tonnes of gold, or a billion yen, she is ten times more powerful than Takano and her paltry 100 million yen.
Why is Erika's swimsuit always portrayed as being a school swimsuit? It's like that even in the fighting game. It said that she fell off of a pleasure barge, so it stands to reason that she would be wearing normal swim gear.
It's cuter. Also, that pleasure barge was unlikely to be for swimming, and Erika is unlikely to be a girl who was working on her tan. (Not a pleasure barge, by the way, a pleasure boat, whatever that means. It would be the height of retardation to take one of those that far out into the ocean in the best weather, not even considering in weather when a real boat like Kawabata's couldn't. Those are flat, crappy things good for lakes and calm rivers, and maybe a beach. It would be about as smart as taking that piece of crap bass boat your grandpa used to take you to the lake in a hundred miles off shore. The wind alone could capsize something with such little displacement. That said, taking something like a large yacht wouldn't be much smarter, but at least it probably would have had a below deck where people would be safe from the weather. Erika was either being really dumb or killed herself.)
New Satoko makes me want to commit a crime. Help! I've never felt this way about a Higurashi!!
Not flat enough. You should upgrade to a Rika or side-grade to a Rena.
Rika is truly the best girl in all of Higurashi and Umineko
The world wasn't ready for moè.
Do we know long was Rika only being given two weeks?
Bern could beat Mokou, but not kill her. The Hourai Elixir reduces all possibility of death to zero. Not even Bern magic of miracles can change this.
Worse than that, unrestricted comprehension often leads to logical errors (see: Russell's paradox, most theological paradox, Halting problem)). Mokou going to be there for a looong time.
Erika is a genius and is very strong, but she gives up and starts crying when the first slightly bad thing happens to her. She lacks the discipline to power on in any real force. Someone has to be there to slap sense back into her for her to get her shit together again.
Which, come to think of it, is also what Rika does. Pity Hanyuu wasn't more forceful.
Sometimes I wonder how many worlds did she have to go through... Someone should do the maths.
Erika can't even exist by her own will. Even Battler can do that.
Rika is perfect. Bernkastel is the filth that accumulated on her due to living in an imperfect world and was washed away. Erika is the filth that accumulated on that filth.
So, about Hou. Is it time travel now instead of world jumping?
Because R07 sure did make it seem like time travel activated by Rika's death.
Now that you've mentioned Hanyuu...
This guy is obsessed with her.
>That no limits fallacy.
You are probably unread in Touhou canon, Umineko canon, or both. Please educate yourself.
The Hourai Elixir explicitly destroys any possibility of death happening. There is no fallacy here. It's canon. Bernkastel's magic of miracle works by making the improbable certain, but she can't make the impossible possible.
Bern can unleash a whole can of hurt in Mokou, but not kill her. If you are butthurt because muh powerlevel characters is less strong than you thought, it's only your autism speaking, not your reason.
It wasn't always pleasant, but Rika did have avery interesting life.
Erika had it the best. Rika got fucked by the torment. Bern got fucked even worse by helping to stop the cycle, but being expelled from Rika and not enjoying the reward.
Erika got to play around and hang out with Lambda and Dlanor.
>Being dumped is hardly traumatic to the extend of eternal torture.
One hundred years is hardly tramatic. Yasu was denied his birthright and had to live the humiliating life of the working class maid and that counted as a thousand years. Rika probably just dropped her ice cream on the ground or something to count as a mere one hundred.
Well, we don't know what Yasu looks like. She could look like Rika.
She must have been ugly as fuck, because no one thought for a second that she looked like Beatrice of the portrait. We know that Rika isn't ugly, so Yasu cannot look like Rika. This level of reasoning is possible for Anonymous Funposter. ......What do you think, everyone?
>Admit it, you'd fuck any Rika, even Bern
Well duh. I'm this dude
What would have happened once Rika has so little time left that she was being revived after she had been drugged. Would the game have ended? Or would it have started over?
The logic errors in Umineko make me believe it would have continued forever, but with a decreasing amount of time, it wouldn't be possible.
Behead those who insult Rika.
Behead those who insult Satoko.
She is every bit as pure as Rika and as sweet as Rena. Anyone who calls her "Sextoko" or "Slutoko" is just insecure about Rika and probably should get pushed off a cliff.
Wouldn't you rather have an image of Rika eating a banana?
How about an image of Hanyuu getting Satoko horny?
Fuck you, nerds. Stop sexualizing my daughteru and all her variations!... and Satoko too. You can take Hanyuu. I never liked that bitch anyway.
knowingly allowed her parent to be killedwithout shedding a tear.
Even if you think Sai is canon, she
still killed her mother.
She clearly doesn't want to be a daughteru.
She's also probably dead. She died in countless worlds and only survived in one. Chances are against you, buddy.
Actions get erased, true, but the fundamental rules do not change between games.
The exception is Sai, which seems to half-heartedly apply some Umineko rules, and ends up denying the story with a strict anti-fantasy interpretation that glares out at you. And you can't just reset something that made the first 8 arcs into a long dream sequence.
>In her view, Yamainu just killed her parents for their goal and nothing more.
If that was her view, then it is even more unforgivable for her to not question their motives for wanting to kill her.
>To Rika, it didn't have anything to do with *her* murder because her parents were expendable.
>I don't think she let it happen.
These cannot both be true. If she knew and didn't try to stop it, then she let it happen. If she didn't let it happen, she would have at least tried to stop it.
>As for the killing of her mother, it never happened. It was very likely a dream. Rika was sent to 'another world' and people assume it's the perfect world created by Bernkastel. All the likely events line up except for one. Rika's mother being the 8th generation girl being born, not Rika. This means that a change happened outside the setting box of Higurashi 9 generation ago, not something that could have been changed by letting Miyo live.
Read as a bridge between Umineko and Higurashi:
Endless June was Rika's escapist fantasy. She humbled Satoko, who bullied her in real life, by killing her parents and removing her from her brother and having her beaten by an uncle. She got rid of Mion who accused her of being a slut who manipulated boys with her body by swapping her with her twin sister that she had never met. She made herself be worshiped as a god from the village that largely ignored her, and killed everyone off. She gave boring Rena a more interesting history by breaking her parents up and giving Satoko's uncle a girlfriend who was fuggling her father. She killed her parents off in the story because she is indifferent towards her father and resents her mother. She brings Keiichi in because she needs someone to save her.
In this, Rika is a bullied, misunderstood child who is watching the world she was born into, the village where she she should be the religious leader, come crumbling around her. Her birthright is being destroyed to make way for a damn project. All her former friends are gone, and the child of the family largely responsible for this is the most popular girl in school and has made her an outcast. Tired of watching the walls close in around her, she talks to her imaginary friend, who is a rock, and possibly kills her mother, then definitely kills herself. After death, she goes to her "heaven", where she lives out the happy story she had written for herself.
The theme in this interpretation is the merits of fantasy versus reality. Rika here transitions for a Midori Kusunoki like girl, who feeds her soul to a youkai for delusions of a better life, and Yasu, who more forcefully rejects reality by violently removing herself from it.
She isn't going to help you with shit, son. You're going to get your soul destroyed.
Whatever. You don't want to protect her. You want to fuck her like doll for your personal use. I know you, limp dick. I bet my soul you're playing some video game right now. Go on, go to play. Monster-pedo, shoo shoo!
I don't have a soul, anon.
Not a refutation. Also, not nice.
>!Nipaa even says that he created that theory as a joke
I've actually not read !Nipaa's posts on this. I thought that up after reading it. And anyway, someone come up with it as a joke does not mean that is isn't correct.
>you have no proof of this bridge.
I never said that I like it. I prefer to ignore it, much like Hou. Personally, I think that Ryukishi was using this to experiment with anti-fantasy. It is a very Umineko-ish tale, and matches the anti-fantasy Ange-on-the-ledge bit almost perfectly. It wraps it up into a neat little package where fantasy elements don't need to happen, and the reader still gets catharsis (don't be a witch, live in the real world).
That said, I might not be able to prove it, but I can fight you to a standstill on this. I have all the explanatory power (such is the nature of dream sequences), and there is no way you can prove that the first eight arcs are reality more than I could prove that this theory is.
This will stand just as upright as the bikes that Rika can't knock over.
He was a tripfriend who was killed by Rika Is My Waifu in a duel for the Rika's hand in marriage. He had a dakimaku that got so crusty from cum that it shattered.
Oh, okay... And about Rika, everyone has the right to think what they want and express their opinion. I don't think this anon want to offend you or anything. He just has a different vision of what Rika is. I'm not defending his opinion though, but I find it interesting.
Hehe, that sounds stupid.
Why is everyone being so mean to me? I'm never going to post again.
If it makes you feel better, this interpretation (not a theory, just an interpretation (not to start circlerjerking about the theory-ladenness of observation itself, we are viewing the same thing from different angles, not speculating about missing data)) makes Rika into the only main character, and gives much more depth to her personality than anything provided in the main story.
It is pure speculation for what was going on in Ryu's head, but I can appeal to the fact that this theme of fantasy vs reality is probably the most prevalent theme in his stories.
I never said that Higurashi was fake either. I have only been saying that Sai cannot be reconciled with the other arcs where both are reality. To try to do so while saving the previous ones as reality involves a pretty cursory reading of Sai.
>Rika had a dream done by Hanyuu and that's all you have.
That ignores all the depth. And besides that, Rika has no respect for Hanyuu, who is the last fucking person to be giving anyone advice on anything. She is quite probably the worst and most retarded god to ever exist.
What about Rena's candy? What sense does that make if it wasn't about the struggle of choosing between dreaming of what could have been and what is?
And Hanyuu shuts Rika down pretty hard when she starts wondering if it was anything other than a dream. Much like everything that little shit does, it's pretty suspicious.
>You mean the bikes Rika never knocked over? K1 was the one who did that.
She tried to knock them over and failed. Remember? After getting assured by Takano in arc 7 that she would be given extra Yamainu protection, she tests this by kicking the bikes. She fails to do so, the Yamainu haul the bikers away, and she gets chastised.
How can you say that didn't happen? I posted a gif of it in the very post you are responding to.
Nope, never again.
Then don't try, and stop shitposting you idiotic attention whore.
Why did you call that anon an attention whore? Anon didn't do anything wrong.
Does somebody know where can I get a plushie like this one? I can't find it anywhere.
Kanon\Rika, one true pair?
Isn't Rena still only a stone's throw away from a psychotic break even in the golden ending? Also, couldn't saving Takano's parents basically change everything we know about the story, butterfly effect style? Or was that its own, isolated timeline.
Literally only Yafu-oku.
I''ve scoured Akiba and Ikebukuro for any and all 07th merch I could find was slim pickings. I suppose Mandarake might randomly stock it if someone brings it as a trade-in but that would take a Miracle.
Even on auctions its a matter of luck. 07th goods seems to have incredibly limited runs.
I want to take advantage of a drunk Rika!
Why is this image so cute, when Rika looks so horrible in Satoko's outfit?
Because you like Rika, and Rika is right there. You would think any living Rika is cute. Any sane man would. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
And Satoko's a little cutie herself.
>it's a Keiichi sees that Satoko is being abused in her home which recalls his backstory of hitting girls in the face with a gun so that Keiichi feels extra protective and takes matters into his own hands, impersonates a police officer, and beats uncle of the year to death arc
It was the best arc
They are not wearing their outfits in many of my images, but I still thought it was cute.
I want Teppei to marry Rosa and adopt Maria!
Maria would be dead within a year. Teppei is not gentle with the lolies. Satoko obeyed him to the letter and still got beaten. Maria gets knocked around by Rosa and never learns to act differently.
Poor girls. It isn't easy being a small child in a 07th Expansion story.
Only big by Japanese standards, so five inchs max. Still, I don't see how that means he fucked her.
Also, he is a sadist more than anything. If he thought rape would hurt Maria or that raping Maria would hurt Rosa (and to be honest, I can see Rosa getting jealous of Maria for it - this is the filthy whore that tried to seduce her nephew for money after all), he would do it.
Fuck you nerd, I am forcing him. Wanna get bullied too?
But I guess I can wait for a Maria thread.
It was from the OC thread, so you can probably ask.
>The only Battler of any importance is Meta-Battler though
Maybe you just don't get it?
Meta battler = Piece Battler who could't remember elements of other games until Bern elevated him to the Meta has her piece
He was one of many piece battlers, but proabaly the 1 in 1000 that made it that far which beato elevated and invited to the tea party.
Do you have a single bit of evidence that would make that make more sense that what >>14665862 says? Don't just make shit up that requires super complicated explanations where Beato for some reason played thousands of boards before picking the last four to play with a Battler that kept his memory.
I'm not really familiar with /jp/, but I can't find it in the catalog. Does it go by a specific name or come on during specific days?
I'll just go to an archive an search for the image there.
Mii- is cuter in my opinion. Nippa sounds sarcastic to me.
>Nippa sounds sarcastic to me
That's more fitting for Rika though
Faito~n! is the cutest.
It's up whenever someone feels like making it.
Obviously. Now seriously, who doesn't like to cuddle and be cuddle? That only, unique and special person must be very miserable...
Should Hanyuu be subjected to humiliating sexualization as punishment for failing to help Rika enough? [Y/N]
No way man. She should be sexualized because she's a relatively cute fake-loli. She should also be humiliated for incompetence, but don't mix that up with sex.
Pull? Don't pull? Choose wisely now, /jp/. Rika won't give you a second chance if you choose wrongly now.
Hanyuu does not have a humiliation fetish, so it wouldn't be a reward.
Rika looking over a fence.
What is Rika carrying here?
Seems like they chose that shot to make it look like she's lifting her dress up.
Well, it wasn't as if it wasn't unexpected that someone would post that grotesque image.
I hate that art so fucking much.
Did they? Wasn't she described as an adult from Miyoko's perspective in that scene in the VN?
It was Matsuribayashi-hen, and you had to view the scenes in a certain order to see it.
Yes, but for how much longer?
We all wish that, friend.
Image limit GET
I don't fucking read stickies. It's kinda my thing.
Also, the thread is still bumping.
What's the best way to sexualize the Higurashi's?
I've heard the Satoko one has a camel-toe!
Bye bye Rika thread, and bye bye(Dead)-chan. It's a shame Warosu is still down, but the thumbnail looked cute.
Wow, the clothes are removable on that one?! Onto the wishlist it goes.
And so Christmas finally ends. Good night Rika.
Before this thread dies I just want to say that Rika's hips are amazing
Rika does not have hips. Such is being ten years old.
This is almost certainly some sort of heresy.
