I like to think that, were Seija to succeed, she'd eventually start opposing the very new reign she created and keep doing it ad nauseum until she failed. The thing is that following one's nature must take into account to what point it affects them.
Animals are slaves to their nature, we don't consider a tiger evil for hunting its prey, nor a dog good because it licks it owner.
As far as humans go (ignore some philosophers since that's not the sort of discussion we ought to be having) they're free to go against their nature. In fact, everything we do that is considered good or evil are the acts that go against one's instincts beyond survival and propagation.
Now comes Amanojaku, and you could extend this to Youkai. The biggest problem is that we just can't understand a point of view of a being whose nature is to go against things(I'm borrowing some dude's idea here, but most other sentient things in fiction barely ever go beyond human attitude with a small twist, things beyond our comprehension are left in the dark, like lovecratian gods), I mean, there's no sentinence we can understand beyond our own, so the question as to whether Seija is evil or not, is how strong the Amanojaku nature is, if it's too strong, you'd then argue that her neutral actions are what she did, and to be evil or good would be her geing against her Amanojaku nature. If it's too weak, then it's the opposite, the path she takes is her being too weak-willed to go against her Amanojaku blood and succumbing to it.
To sum it up, I mean to say you can't pinpoint her morality unless you knew how her youkai type works, which we'll never be able to because we can only understand how it's like to be human.

So I've been thinking recently about scanning some of my Touhou doujinshi but I'm apprehensive about uploading it.

Problem is I don't want my scans to be propagated throughout the internet and I know I'm not the only one hit with this issue. Most people are at the very least ok with publicizing translations. However, raw scans are another thing entirely. Were the fandom more active in terms of translations I'd just send off my scans to a translation group and be on my way. This is what the Chinese fandom does (though they also scavenge scans from all corners of the internet; it’s all take and no give). This is what the doujinshi-loving fujoshi fandom used to do in the early 2000s on the shit that is livejournal before the shit that is tumblr existed. This sort of thing is not all that uncommon. From the perspective of someone who only wants to consume content and is an outsider in relation to these isolated communities this closed-off attitude used to piss me off back in the day and it still does today. I do, however, understand their reasoning. The primary goal of these communities is to avoid is the act of hurting the original creator's sales on the Japanese side while still supporting the fandom within their own locality. The locality of the English speaking community actually reaches out to the entire western world due to English being one of the more generally known languages. This is why you see many translators who know more than just Japanese and English choose to translate in English. It reaches a larger audience than, say, French or even Spanish. Japanese is the other language that ties us all together, albeit on a lesser scale since less know it.

There is currently an extremely small chance of my stuff being translated due to little of it being porn (which is easy to translate, you just need to be fluent in English and for it to sound right) or having enough shipping content that the yuri-only translators would want to jump on. Also Gaku is slow and oddly random. And if I were to post my scans there there is a high chance of them going places I don’t want. As I said earlier entire western fanbase pretty much relies on raw scans or English translations of said scans that usually appear on sadpanda and whatnot. There's also Danbooru. But going back to the main issue, all of these sites are easily accessed by Japanese fans and the creators themselves. In the end what should be done? Further hurt creators or be a closed-off shit and not share my treasures?

I'd just like to ask for opinions on this topic; is there any other option for scanners that doesn’t hurt original creators out there? Were any of my collection older than 5 years or porn I'd just say fuck it, scan it, and upload it to sadpanda.

Also what’s everyone's opinion on scanning/uploading novels? There are a couple R-18 ones I've had my eyes on for a while. Is it worth the time? The hope of a translation is 0% and there usually are no images. How many out there would be willing to read a 200p sad story about Marisa being raised as a sex slave and getting her virginity taken by a dog?

News:
-A new map, 6-5, has been implemented, with a new BGM. The boss node consists of an enemy combined fleet.
-Land-based aerial support has been implemented for 6-4 (up to one squadron, no enemy air raids) and 6-5 (up to two squadrons, one enemy air raid before clear, and zero after clear). It can be unlocked by completing a quest.
-To commemorate the collaboration with Nakau, temporary sprites for Akagi, Akitsushima, Roma (all oyakodon), Akigumo (katsudon), Akebono (udon) and Mizuho (gyuudon) have been implemented.
-Several dozen new autumn seasonal lines have been implemented along with new and returning seasonal sprites and furniture, replacing summer seasonal lines, sprites and furniture. Fubuki, Asashimo (autumn festival happi coat sprites), Akizuki, Shiratsuyu, Yura, Naganami and Mutsu (yukata sprites) are the recipients of the new sprites.
-The max ship/equipment slot counts have been increased to 310/1340.
-Four new quests have been added: two quests each rewarding a Construction Corps, a quest granting access to land-based aerial support, and one quest rewarding a searchlight. The Construction Corps can also be bought from the Item Shop.
-The 38.1cm Mk.I Twin Gun can now be upgraded to 38.1cm Mk.I/N Twin Gun Kai, which can then be further improved.
-Map gauges for uncleared Extra Operations are now displayed in the sortie screen. The display of the T1 Land Attacker M22A has been fixed. Bauxite regeneration reduction in "Rest" mode has been reduced.
-An in-game sanma festival mini-event will be implemented next maintenance, on October 21. All servers have been strengthened and expanded in preparation for this.
-"That type" of aircraft and a new system will finally be introduced in autumn or later.
-A foreign CV is planned for implementation for next month's Autumn 2016 Event.
-Kinu's Kai 2 is planned for implementation this autumn.

I'm asking here since the wiki is lacking and there is like 0 active discussion anymore.
How should I be earning money in this game? I barely get any mats and and when i do its only 1 of and I cant sell or sells for like 10g.
