>>54955313 Honestly my only criticism is that hes old as fuck and he's Jewish. Obama isn't perfect but I think its a good thing that he doesn't support Israel more than he has to because of Florida and NY. If Bernie came out supporting a combined state of Palestine and Israel I would be 100% in favor of him
Fuck, I really don't know what I want to happen this election. I wish Mitt Romney hadn't run last election and was running now. Hillary is a vile piece of shit, who doesn't believe a single word that she says, while Bernie is a man conviction, though I don't agree with him on much of anything. I'd like Trump, but he absolutely can't win even if he does get the GOP nomination.
>>54956607 Trump is already a national socialist. He wants to pour a bunch of money into social security, the VA, rebuilding infrastructure and universal healthcare. Except he also intends to drastically cut taxes so I don't know how he plans to do that
>>54956586 I think non-americans don't realize how unelectable Sanders is
US has no laws that require people to vote, the massive *massive* majority of voters are older than 45 aka generally old enough to still hate the communists. This makes up 60-70%+ of the voting demographic. Sanders winning the DNC nomination would be suicide.
>>54956876 I think a lot of all the Bernie bots you see online are underage too. I have no idea how this will all pan out. I'm pretty worried. A lot is going on in the world and I wouldn't be comfortable with any of the leading candidates. I almost wish Obama could just serve a third term.
>>54956876 Bernie Sanders has fared well in polls against different Republicans. Remember that people said the same thing about Obama. Obama had set a record with 2 million individual donations and Bernie now has that beat with his 3.5+ million. Not to mention that the millenial population surpassed the baby boomer population months ago. Of course there will still be more boomers than millenials voting but he really does have a close shot of becoming president assuming his momentum keeps going
>>54957051 Maybe so, but all the signs are there. What makes you think it's not possible? >>54957070 Trump >>54957083 >thinking Kasich will win the nomination >thinking Rubio will be VP Holy shit you can't be this dumb
>>54957058 >>Socialism isn't a scare tactic anymore. >redditards actually believe this >>And the "youth" vote, that is the vote of those 18-44 (according to New York Times) accounted for ~47% of the vote in 2008 and nearly 49% in 2012.
it was 39% in 2012 you retard https://www.census.gov/prod/2014pubs/p20-573.pdf 45 and over made up 61% of all voters
>>54957086 And overall turnout was only 54% in 2012 and 36% in 2014. One key reason is school and jobs prevent many people (but those on leave, retired, with vacation/sick days) from voting because it's not a holiday. Make it a holiday and you'd see a lot more voting.
>>54956995 The thing is the actual Polish jews that came in XIV century when Casimir the Great was ruling assimilated so well you couldn't tell them apart from normal Poles.
The ones that started causing trouble (i.e. segregating themselves from the rest of the society, not bothering to learn the language etc) were the Jews which got expelled from the Russian Empire by Tsar Alexander the Third in XIX century. Those are the ones which now hold a grudge against Poles and try to pin the blame for WW2 on us.
Greetings /int/ from 9 months into the future. TRUMP WON THE FUCKING ELECTION!!!. Although it sounds like heaven there are HUGE protests all over the country. There has also been an assassination attempt by some Arab guy. Right now the state of the united states is extremely chaotic and both the left and right are in full damage control. Screencap this because I gotta go bye.
>>54957173 >Go to school, can't vote >Get out of school >Line still long, someone say it's taking upwards of 30+ minutes to vote >Only have a few minutes to get to work
Shit happened to me in 2012. I wanted to vote, but I had to be to school at 8, got out and then had to go and do the close shift at my job. I was only given 30 minutes to get to work when school let out and the lines were terribly long and slow.
>>54957279 this is why nobody argues with bernie supporters they're actually mentally handicapped maybe if instead of 'free shit' you got yourselves some math tutors you'd understand why everyone can't have 'free shit'
>>54957288 absentee ballot you fucking retard this is why you don't deserve to vote, you're too stupid
>>54957319 >>54957326 You both are literally retarded to assume major shift in political sentiment can't change https://today.yougov.com/news/2015/05/11/one-third-millennials-like-socialism/ >>54957386 The irony in this statement is that no millenial is currently a baby. You should probably learn to use google before you post
>>54957540 I'm just pointing out facts. This election has been very different atmosphere compared to previous ones. Do you really think that just 4 years ago a candidate advocating socialist policies or a candidate wishing to completely muslims would have gotten this far? I know you're probably politically illiterate and that's why you're too much of a dingbat to understand why that matters but thinking the youth vote will play a big factor isn't far-fetched. >>54957551 That is a possibility considering there's been kneejerk reactions from both sides of the spectrum but it's foreseeable that the election process and political parties will change. The fact that the GOP candidate with the most campaign contributions is also the one currently trailing is a good sign of that
>>54957763 >he thinks sanders has gotten anywhere near as far as trump haha oh wow sanders is losing nationally to a '''woman''' that might be going to prison for betraying the country Trump has been leading the GOP pack(note: pack, not 'one other candidate and some guy everyone forgot about') since he announced his presidency by double digits.
>>54957584 >>54957676 >favorable views is almost tied with unfavorable views That's a substantial change considering a 20 percent difference in just a matter of years >sanders is not electable You willing to wager on that, m8?
>>54957860 >That's a substantial change considering a 20 percent difference in just a matter of years it was a different question, dumbass >You willing to wager on that, m8? yes losing 2% of the vote of your entire party can cost you the elction losing 40% of your entire party is a fucking catastrophe
>>54957810 Trump has name recognition and that's why he spiraled upward. A year ago nobody know who the fuck Sanders was on a national level but that's actually changed recently >>54957839 Obama ran on a centrist platform. Are you too young to remember that?
if hillary shows any signs of losing to bernie, biden will immediately step in and she'll hand him his delegates(yes, they can do this) while he proceeds to smash bernie in the remaining states the """""""""""""""""""'democratic"""""""""""""""""" party is a fucking oxymoron unto itself, they don't vote for their leader but play favorites bernie's supporters are too young/stupid to know this
DNC would never let bernie win because it would be a guaranteed GOP victory.
>>54957937 >>Obama ran on a centrist platform. you're one of those idiots that thinks USA has no """real""" left party and all of our politics are right-wing, right? give me examples of real left-wing countries and what makes them leftwing please.
They must at least have: a full welfare system legal gay marriage marijuana legal in at least some part of their country government guaranteed free speech
>>54957893 Doesn't matter moron, your own picture proved my point in showing that socialism isn't as unfavorable >>54957967 >strawmanning this hard I have an even better challenge for you. Try finding examples of real right wing countries: It must have >religious leadership >harsh punishment for drug offenses >completely pro-life >always threatening war Oh wait, that's middle east shitholes like Saudi Arabia ;^) I'm not even a liberal, it's just funny seeing you sperg this hard
>>54958059 >left-right politics were founded during the french revolution >freedom of speech was a major part of the french republic(left,) deemed an unalienable right are you actually this retarded, or do you put in extra effort?
>>54958088 >proved my point in showing that socialism isn't as unfavorable >half of the country, 40% of his own party, refuses to vote for him >n-n-not unfavorable! ok.
>>54958088 >>strawmanning this hard your response to him is a strawman USA has government guaranteed freedom of religion and abortion is legal in USA his arguments were things that actually exist in USA
>>54958125 >>You should know of all people that Hillary flip flops on issues whenever it becomes convenient. Yeah, unlike Sanders right? Bernie Sanders didn't even support same-sex marriage until last year.
>>54958124 >his arguments were things that actually exist in USA Wot? I know it's hard to believe, but his ideas aren't that implausible. If you look at the countries more determined more economically free than us, most of them have enacted some form of universal healthcare. I really don't care if you don't believe me but you have yet to provide anything of substance and your posts reek of 16 year old that just discovered politics >his own party Yup you definitely don't know shit if you automatically assume I'm democrat
Bernard "Bernie" Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is an American politician and United States Senator from Vermont. He is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
>>54956085 Can't these guys figure out that Sanders is either not particularly religious, or unwilling to make his religion part of his campaign? It's consistent with his other talking points to do so.
>>54956085 home is where the money is, This is a friendly reminded that a jew has no loyalty other than being a jew. Jews lived in Poland for close to a rthousand years and as soon as they left, they spit on their homeland
>>54957967 >government guaranteed free speech actually the more left a country the more restricted free speech is. You can get in trouble in France(penal fine) for "insulting the President". and just look at the nordic cunts and Germany, where they imprison people for shitposting online.
