Superdelegates are more of an issue with Democrats because the DNC abuses it so much. Republicans use less superdelegates so no one really bothers to worry about it because it's an inconsequential amount whereas a large amount of Democrat voter are superdelegates . Like 20% of DNC delegates are superdelegates whereas only a tiny percentage of Republican delegates are superdelegates.
