Thank you so much for this. I hope I can visit Bosnia someday to study the subject and photograph the stecii. I am currently learning the basics of the language and have read all the main academic works like The Medieval Manichee by Steven Runciman (Cambridge press).

The bogomil period lasted as long as the Ottoman period, there must be a lot left. I've found evidence of a migration wave of French cathars and Italian patarenes to Bosnia in the 14th century, when the Roman church found the Inquisition against them. Also, I think the reason why sufism is predominant in Bosnia has a direct link to bogomilism.

How popular is the subject with the general population in Bosnia? Are people fascinated with this part of their heritage?
