Finland Appreciation Thread
1. Your country
2. What do you like most about Finland
>They have the best metal bands in the world
I wouldn't say they have the "best" metal bands but they certainly have the memiest metal bands.
I want to bully an anime Finnish femboi in bed
Good lads. Take this nice picture, it's all yours.
>Sorry :(. I didn't mean to make you sad :(.
No need to be sorry, mate, it was not you who made me sad.
2. Minttu (oh yes) and pic related

Soumi on maailman paras maa!
I created a thread exactly like this a few months ago and everyone just shit on it.
Pic is true, I realised a while ago that Finns really don't give a shit about anything if it isn't related to Finland. A French exchange student asked me why we don't have a lot of international news anywhere, and I came to the realisation that international news is only paid attention to if it's directly about Finland.. other than that nobody cares at all.
There could be a tsunami tomorrow that kills a million people, and it's only news if there were Finns around at the time. Overall, I really don't know if this is a good or a bad thing.
>tfw I can buy all but the Chili Mint here
What I wouldn't give for some big finnish titties to suck on.>>53944871
Their baby box, out of jokes, the idea is brilliant.
>>They have the best metal bands in the world

>le metal is for edgy teens-meme
/b/ is over there. m8
>Not a cuck nation like sweden
>Cool national meme
Legit good country. Helsinki is a ghost own though.
How fucking expensive is it in NZ?
>i don't know how you guys can spend more than 5-10 minutes in a sauna
Just end it m8
It was now all the beutiful old buildings are rotting.
Cheaper than Australia and it's not regulated by big brother like sweden
I don't understand what you mean by "not regulated" it's regulated in Alko liquor stores, only Alko can sell strong drinks whereas normal shops only sell up mild stuff up to 4.7%
Did you go there in midsummer when eveybody is in their cabins or on holiday
Hyvää päivä /int/, my name is Kenghis-Khan.
I’m a 27 year old American Jonne (energy drink fan for you vittus). I draw spurdo comics on my computer, and spend my days perfecting my shitposting and playing superior Finnish games. (Angry Birds, Max Payne, Trine)
I train with my recurve bow every day, this superior weapon can shoot straight through steel because it has draw weight of over a thousand pounds, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my horse archer's license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak Finnish fluently, both Fenno-Swedish and the Sami dialect, and I shitpost fluently as well. I know everything about Finnish memes and the Ylilauta rules, which I follow 100%
When I get my Schengen visa, I am moving to Helsinki to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become a clerk for ES or SIWA!
I own several knives, which I carry around town. I want to get used to carrying them before I move to Finland, so I can fit in easier. I avoid my elders and seniors and speak as little as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to ignore me.
Wish me luck in Finland!
I know that we have this rivalry thing, but deep down we have no problem with swedes
I might go live in Helsinki starting next september, and I would like to ask you a few questions first.
1. How easy/difficult is it to get a job when you only speak english ?
2. What is college life like in Helsinki ?
3. Is it an all-around nice place if you enjoy hiking or walking/biking in the open ?
Thank you for your time
Everyone under 30 and probably most under 40 or 50 do, unless they had a learning difficulty or something. Some people who say they don't speak English actually do, they just aren't used to speaking it so they're shy about it. Sometimes bus drivers and some clerks don't speak English. I find that astounding since my father, who is over 60 and grew up on a farm, speaks some English.
But then again if it would have been ours the entire time, it would be full of soulless concrete shitboxes.
