>murder rate per 100k people
Why is Latin America so brutal? What kind of people live there?
It's the heat, I tell you
Have you ever been so tired of getting burned under the sun that you just wanna stab a nigga?
I've stabbed around 3 people this year alone baka desu senpai
That's thanks to all the Peruvians, Paraguayans and Bolivians invading us. They build their fucking slums and everything in the radius of 10 km is a no-go zone
I grew up in a town in La Patagonia, most people didn't even lock their doors in the past.
These past 12 years the Bolivians started popping out of nowhere like fucking crazy, and crime and rape cases sky rocketed.
Nothing like stomping old people to death to beat the heat
all those dictatorships and civil wars in the past left drug and weapon markets running, and a powervoid, which criminals took over
its all cold war vestige, also fueled by more recent cartel shit
latin american countries should sue the big drug markets for all the money and lives weve wasted in fighting this.
They drink too much
50% is cops getting #BTFO by highly skilled sharpshooter robbers.
I don't really know.
Maybe is the inept law enforcement, you can run over and kill a pedestrian and get away with it if you can get 5000 dollars in cash in less than 30 minutes.
Crime is not punished = crime increases
Industralization that caused migration of poor people to big cities and created circles of poverty which are hotspots for crime in already very unequal societies.
The lack of stable goverments in some countries could be a cause too (some centralamericans had civil war until some decades ago)
Latin american criminals even reach as far as Southeast Asia.Sometimes I wonder why they even come here when theres so many better place in the world to rob
