I WANT THIS MEME TO END i dont even remember the last day it was warmer than -25 for fucks sake
Check your privilege warm country faggots
>mfw it's only -3 degrees celcius
I suppose we are..
Oddly enough cold doesn't effect your dick as much as the rest of you since it's pretty much the only biological reason for you to be alive. Your heart pumps a lot of warm blood directly from the heart to keep it warm.
Like when you take a piss outside when it's that cold your hands feel colder than your schwanz.
This. Its 9C outside, probably more inside my house, and I'm freezing my balls.
I didn't even know that -40 existed in populated areas, it sounds like a meme number you use to exaggerate how cold it is.
It's not fair... It's gonna be -46 windchill tomorrow and you have +15...
>Go home for Xmas
>Its in a region where it could reach -40
>Its really cozy and really whatever
>After Xmas go to my city apartment to live my life
>House is barely isolated for -10C
>Its -15C for a few days
I already sealed off the kitchen from the rest of te house.
The windows simply isn't isolated enough to keep out the cold. Normally its suppose to be a nice cool in there, at like 19C. Now it drops to 5C if cold outside.
The water heater is in there, so its not suppose to be cold there, ever.
Cold don't scale at all.
So its super super cold at 1C
then it gets colder at -1C
then humidity drops, and its warmer at -10C
then there is no humidity left at -20, and it really stops getting colder.
The only thing thats bad about it getting colder than -20 is that the wind starts to bite more.
-6°C today, the small layer of frost on the car was annoying to remove
>it will never ever be -18C or +40C here
Mild weather feels.
Sven, here is the thing: At the least I don't live in the capital.
There literally exists houses down there that is not isolated against anything colder than -5C. The same is true for Bergen.
Stockholm as a lot of the same issues, as does most of Denmark.
mildest european winter coming through, I'll still need a small jacket for tomorrow
Mid summers and mid winters. Oceanic master weather.
>mfw it has been < -20C last 2 weeks and I don't care anymore
>Stockholm has a lot of the same issues
Never ever heard of Swedish commieblocks suffering from poor insulation desu. I live in one myself and when it goes down to -30 it gets only marginally colder inside.
Our shit is well made 2bh.
It has been snowing for a few days here and it's fucking great man. I feel so comfortable in cold weather and snow.
What do the people who always live in cold think about this? Canadians etc
>he thinks he can complain about the weather as a non-saskie!
-40 winters AND +40 summers, motherfuckers.
Tfw, phone warns me constantly about extreme cold weather.
Some seem to be dealing with it (pic rel. :D) and some haven't left the center buildings for a week.
Might be some truth in that.
Still mindbogglingly irresponsible to not construct well insulated housing this far north gulf stream or no, it's always possible it might get really fucking cold even if you live by the coast.
>tfw 26°C+ everyday since the beginning of the year
Even though it's satire, I love this little piece from the story about a guy arrested for using a flamethrower to clear snow
>Fox stated that he was simply “fed up with battling the elements” and that he did not possess the willpower necessary to move “four billion tons of white bull shit.”
It survived. They should decriminalize the attempt of burning. It would boost tourism.
They should try again to steal it by helicopter and move it to Stockholm.
Never even saw the martens in a shop will look out for it. I can see the hippies out my window everyday (stadspark leuven)
I thought finland was land of vodka, why are you buying cans of shitty beer? Especially with -40
>out of food
>Patriots will win the Superb Owl again
Fuck this weather. It's not comfy. Just annoying. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
How is cold annoying? Is there liquid water falling out of the sky? Is everything wet for hours after you've gone back inside? Get proper insulation and get comfy with a can of shitty beer!
>I've felt -20 and as has been pointed out -20 and -40 arent too different.
True. See for example: freeze-drying.
When I was in Moscow it was -20°C and I found it more comfortable than the typical Belgian +2°C continuous ice-cold, fine rain (when I came back in Brussels).
Wrong. That was 2 years ago. Last year was actually pretty nice it averaged -25 or something. Unless you live in territories, then forgive me.
>If it drops below -20 i wear a ski mask also.
Fucking this. I neglected to do so last week when it was -35 and I froze my fucking eyelid... just the one eyelid to, doesn't make any fucking sense to me.
Any fellow Canadians or Nordic users get annoyed when people on 4chan talk about winter being the best season, or the most "comfy".
Most of them probably live in places where the coldest it gets is like -8 degrees celcius.
It's colder here for longer than it is in most places. UB, the capital, is the coldest capital on earth, friend. Regularly down to -30 or -40. It can be comfy if there's snow, but usually it's six months or so of bleakness.
>the only transportation I own is my bicycle
>it's a 7km ride to my university campus
Ffffuck. It's a lab day today as well, so I can't skip it or go a bit late.
>it's fucking northmemers again whining about how cold it is
When it reaches +35 again I'll laugh at you pussies, and it's not even that high of a temperature, I'm sure many can claim to reach more
A couple of years ago we had 30C+ for over a month continuously and I wanted to die.
Anyway cold is fine except when you have to go somewhere you really don't want to, and leave your comfy home.
I thought that you guys thought that freezing cold was superior, though.
It takes over a month? >>53903849 here, didn't get used to it at all. And Australia gets way hotter than that, right?
Cold is just easier to deal with with modern technology and good clothing. It's a huge pain in the ass, but at least you can dress well, have a heated room and everything. I'd still rather not go cycling in this weather though, ended up getting frostbite on my nose last week after leaving it exposed for a bit.
>And Australia gets way hotter than that, right?
Depends where, but generally yes. It's been well over 30C where I am most days over the last few weeks and I don't live in a hot part of the country, either.
>Cold is just easier to deal with with modern technology and good clothing
That's what everybody keeps saying to me, but I honestly like the feeling of warm weather. I work outdoors for a living and I'd still rather hot weather than cold.
>mfw it's -4 again
Someone wake me up from this nightmare
Everybody has different preferences, sure. Especially when you take in to account what kind of climate you grew up in. Though I'm sure there are 'strayans who like the cold and Finns who love the heat as well. As for me, I do like a hot summer day now and then but if it lasts too long it gets unbearable, especially at night. We don't even have air conditioning really, because it's usually pointless. In my old apparment we had 40C+ indoors a lot of the times in the summer.
What doesn't work? The brakes or gears? Heat them up you pleb.
Central heating of course, and very well insulated buildings. It's a stable 22-25C inside my house in winter. I meant no ac for cooling the place down in the summer. It's not very common in this country because it's rarely hot enough for long enough for it to be worth it. Then you get >>53903849 and regret not having even a desk fan.
>mfw eurocucks and amerilards always complain about how hot it is in summer and how cold it is in winter
>mfw it never goes below 5 or above 25
Because OP is lying, unless he's living in some remote military barracks or some irrelevant lapland hut village, only those areas have had -40c this year. Couple years ago it was -44c even here down "south", I remember two bong slags who started crying because they were afraid to go outside keks.
>couple of years ago it was -44 even here "down south"
Proofs or didnt happen
it's pretty comfy here in Athens
Helsinki is just cozy most of the time. Its -25C here now in keski-suomi.
>what is Sodankylä
Irrelevant lapland hut village and a military barrack area.
>what is Muonio
Irrelevant lapland hut village.
If there's way to search weather records from pieksämäki from early 2013. Im on a phone.
>summers only go to 30C
>winters only go to -5C
feels good тбн faм

>it was perfectly normal to get weathers almost up to -50
Looks like you're the one who's 8 years old.
Looks like you're wrong.
Its been about 5C and raining for 3 months straight
>not cold enough for snow
>not warm enough to enjoy being outside
fuck this mayne
