I want to go home already.
I mean like how do you keep yourselves entertained? Where is there to go? On the mainland we got big cities like Brisbane and Sydney to visit within driving distance, but in Tassie you got... Hobart? Is Hobart big?
No. If you were found out to be fucking your cousin here, you'd be shunned like anywhere else. So many mainlanders seem to think we're a bunch of jungle people who live in little shanty towns. Sure our population is small, but Hobart DOES have 200,000 people and Launceston 100,000. I live in neither (and actually do live in a shanty town) but the point still remains. We're just like anywhere else in Australia to be honest.
I prefer the French I think, I'm not really into the independentist thing.
I live in Ajaccio where Napoleon was born and the party who rule the city is named "Bonapartist Central Comitee".

Hobart is 200,000 people. However you have to remember that it's our capital, so Hobart (and Launceston) punch well above their weight for cities of 200,000 and 100,000 respectively. If a company wants to do anything in Tasmania, they have to do it in one of those two cities so they have a lot of stuff that mainlands cities of 200,000 and 100,000 wouldn't be able to get.
Also, you have to remember that Melbourne is only a 45 minute plane trip away. I know people who travel to Melbourne just for the weekend, or for a day. It's quicker for me to get to Melbourne than it is for me to get to Hobart.
It's pretty bizarre that people think we're different because we're "isolated" but we're 10x closer to Sydney or Melbourne than somewhere like Perth or Darwin is.
Just installed it. I see others extra flags but never posted since then.
