>Ruble falls to a new low.
>Oil falls under $28 a barrel.
Where is your God now, Kremlin shills?
Not really. Only 16% of Russia's economy was oil or oil related in 2014.
Still, it's gonna be hurting out there. Maybe a 2% decrease this year.
But Oil's back to $29.5 senpai. Ride the bull to the top baby!
Just according to plan, once they are poor too we will annex them.
Lower currency = more money for exports = better economy
It's only a big problem if a country imports a lot of essential inputs, but since Russia has it's own natural resources and lots of farmland (biggest wheat exporter currently) it's not a big deal.
Same thing is happening in Australia, our dollar fell from $1.11 US to $0.68 in 2 years, most of the drop in the last 1 year. That's almost a 50% drop. Nobody is complaining, it's great for every export industry.
The only country that gets cucked in all this is the US
Russia exports a lot of things, oil made up the largest value of exports due to it's overly inflated price, and as it's price has fallen, it will be squeezed by other exports, which will not make up a higher proportion of the total value. Due to a falling currency they will be more competitive than otherwise and more of them will be exported.
Learn them cunts some economics
I hope you're prepared for 35m more Liberal voters
you guys make our conservative party look like liberals, our actual Liberals and NDP are full blown commie from your perspective. We make commiefornia look like Republicans
and besides, no you're not allowed to annex us.
1. you already tried, and failed, lol
2. we're a democracy, it would be un-American of you to annex us
>tfw can afford dozens of three course meals at a fancy Russian restaurant
It's going to be so much fun when I visit there.
>1 dolar = 4 monkey tokens
Haha BRICS on suicide watch
I'm gonna need a bag of popcorn and a good view to enjoy the fires as the Kremlin burns to the ground.
Maybe some s'mores too.
Seriously, fuck russia.
keep them where they are and tell them to start their own cunt, we'll help with building a wall
>Guys surely Russia will fall this time!
>right? ha ha ha!
All delusion aside Russia isn't falling any time soon, if ever.
Annex us if Trump is elected, I don't want to suffer being under a government with liberal majority.
Yes but didn't you see what I said bro?
It's still only 16% of their economy, and after oil's crash the last two years, it's probably far less.
That means even a 70% drop in oil will only take out 8% of their GDP. But since the ruble devalued 70% they get the same amount of money in reality.
Their current troubles stem from investors and people losing confidence in the economy, not as much a real economic fall.
They already said they are willing to give back the two largest islands. Japanese rejected it because they want all four.
The real reason is to keep a nationalist fervor against Russia in Japan.
How much poorer would you say you are in comparison to 2014? Considering your goods are in rubles.
Yeah, only problém is that gas and oil profits are 50% of state budget. So good bye investments, good bye pensions
Russia needs 50-60$ at the end of this year or there will be austernity like in Greece
Putin is already doing that though.
They live better, happier, and healthier lives than you. Average Jap gets 2 decades on the average Russian.
You can't even go 'muh immigration', because they have 0% Muslims, and don't take in refugees.
Also, they make great anime and videogames, while I can't think of any culture or media coming out of Russia that anyone gives a shit about.
>Invent the modern video game industry
>Can't into videogames
World of Tanks is just okay my friend. More people are going to play Mario and Pokemon.
And Japs will have a good 20 more years to enjoy videogames and everything else in this world when compared to the average vodka chugging Vatnik.
>they make great anime
Stopped reading there. I see I've found the degenerate here. Stupid dumb weeb scum
Is it supposed to be news, you just crawled from under your rock?
Hey Russian, I normally would take your side, but I recently realized that War Thunder physiologically manipulated me into wasting 500 hours of my life literally suffering and grinding.
B peзyльтaтe пoшeл нaхyй. Poccия cтpaнa пидopacoв
They make a form of culture that is consumed and watched by billions around the world.
Vatniks just make potatoes for more vodka. When was the last time you ever watched something from Russian?
I can't remember what the exchange rate was when I went over, but I remember a bottle of coke was like US$5 when I went.
Apparently there aren't as many junkies in Oslo these days though, when I went there, it was like 1970s New York.
Our next president is going to be an ex emergency situations → defence minister. I wonder if we get stagnation or fall. He was competent on his previous jobs but what about economy and reforms we need so much. Any other candidates except "communists" will turn Russia into a liberal country it was before Putin's latest strategy. Is it bad? I don't think so.
this is the exact same events that happened before pearl harbor
>there will never be a nationality known as "the Soviet people" again.
Not him, but for me even Chinese shit is expensive now. Fucking silicon pussy cost 10% of my wage. A good smartphone cost 2 monthly salaries. Food prices are fairly bearable, and were compensated by cheaper rent prices.
Why would any Canadian know that? The only part of your politics we're interested in is on the federal level, not the state level.
We just hear you guys call it Commiefornia and assume it's because they're the most leftist state.
Where do I buy a barrel of oil because it's cheaper than firewood? Russia, if I paypal you 28 euro will you send me oil? But in a plastic bag or something because I don't want to actually pay for the barrel itself. Come to think of it, does the 28$ price tag include the barrel? Is it a good barrel, or old, rusted one?
>Sanctions are going to hurt us more than Russia
It does not include an actual barrel. The 'barrel of oil' is in fact a unit of measurement based on the size of a standard barrel, it's not actually referring to a physical barrel of oil.
It's a unit of measurement
But if you were to buy a barrel of oil, it would probably be cheaper to buy it in multiple 2 liter plastic bottles because the price of steel has gone up making an oil barrel more than the oil inside it
They've banned a load of imports from the EU and US citing health and safety concerns (Read: Butthurt) and that combined with US and EU sanctions, their imports are basically nothing
You can actually buy barrels, if you really want one. Check with some farmers, they might have some old diesel barrels, my dad has a bunch.
You can either buy them in bags, or in extra-large Tim Horton's cups.
If it's an emergency, mounties usually carry a small cask like the type St. Bernards carry. Canadian casks have two spigots though, one side is oil, the other side is maple syrup.
Norway is even expensive for us and no where is expensive for us.
I know some people who went there for a week to see a mate and they said an OK takeaway pizza was either US$40 or £40.
And it wasn't one of these huge American ones that need 1/3 of an acre of wheat to make. It was 14 inches or so.
Either way that's fucking expensive for a single pizza
How exactly do you define "oil related"?
If you only consider oil producers and refineries and transit companies to be oil related then you may be forgetting their contractors and subcontractors, and industry that caters to demand made by employees of oil and related companies which will also suffer due to wage drop and layoffs.
>be good partisan
>raise in ranks
>elites trust you
>grasp conceptual power
>devise a concept of public security
>betray the NWO
>start a social and spiritual revolution
>reveal satellite images proving 9/11 was an inside job
>former allies get on your side despite animosity
>destroy the overlords for a new idea
>proceed processes of globalization
>live in peace and prosperity
They're never going to be let into the EU, we just give them "candidate" status to butter them up at the negotiating table. Half of the EU would probably leave if Turkey was allowed in.
My dad's wafe was 3k$ after taxes in 2014 and 1000$ now. But desu most prices didn't increase THAT much. Benzin costed like 33roubles for liter (1$=80rub), now it is 36. Aver. videogame for console costed 2000-3000 roubles, not it is 3000-4000. etc etc etc. But now finally we will have to create something besides oil and earlier or later we will have huge real growth so there will be incredible chances to start export business here in 5-10 years since when oil was expensive everything here was overpriced as hell, we had prices for everything like in Finland. Now everything is cheaper than in Poland.
But no rational human will disagree with the post-soviet concepts of social management and geopolitical development you guys have devised. Not to mention that half the world shares your pagan and esoteric traditions one way or another.
Crimea want be given back 100%, that won't even be discussed by anyone, any politician we have now including supported by the west ones won't do this since that will kill them as politicians. They mostly criticize Putin for taking Crimea without enough resources to up quality of life there from ukrainian to at least russian standarts and that projects of connecting Crimea with russian infrastructure by bridge will cause rampant corruption.
How the fuck? In Finland you would literally have to go through dumbsters to survive through a month, you can't probably get an apartment for less than 100e/month and that's actually like 110 dollars so you'd have 35 euros left for consumption so 1 euro/d for food, electricity and water. My energy bill for last month, of which I was only half of the time at this apartment, was 10 euros. Water costs 10 euros a month as well. So after these deductions I have 15 euros a month for food so 50 cents a day. The cheapest macaroni costs like 30 cents/500g so if I eat a bag of that everyday I'll have 20 cents surplus daily, the cheapest grinded meat is like 2-3 euros a kilo so I can buy 2-3 of those a month.
Yeah, one could possibly survive but life would be quite ascetic. Doing manual labour would be tough as the input of calories into my body would probably be like maximum of 2000 a day.
Russian history always repeats itself.
Another Smuta when?
1. Stop arming rebels in Ukraine and withdraw your troops from Ukraine
2. Force rebels to negotiating table
3. Force them to hold actually democratic elections
4. Withdraw troops from the border(s)
5. Stop flying your air crafts in EU/NATO airspace, makes us butthurt.
That should do it.
So how's putin shills reacting to this?
Anyway I hope you find better job.
You cant get qts with krokodil, but a low class street walkers in russia dont speak enough english for you to hook up with them.
You'll have to pay the extra dollar to get a somewhat intelligent woman if you want to be able to communicate your intent.
We didn't though except Ukraine and Georgia. Balts hate us because it was the only way to be friends with the west. More hatred towards Russia = you are pro democracy and freedoms. Like half of ex-empire countries rely on us a lot.
>give crimea? but majority there are russians and will take up arms again
Crimea gets the majority of it's electricity and drinking water from Ukraine. The shit would soon escalate to Planet of the Apes level if any conflict would start in there. And since Crimea is basically a burden to Russia, they'd not finance that niggering going on in there, especially when west disapproves it.
>2. Force rebels to negotiating table
Do you actually think that any agreement would be reached?
>3. Force them to hold actually democratic elections
You think those neanderthals actually want democracy? Take a look at how things were before the war in Ukraine, when Ahmetov basically created a party, which objective was to steal and hoard as much money as possible for themselves.
>Balts hate us because it was the only way to be friends with the west. More hatred towards Russia = you are pro democracy and freedoms.
Balts actually don't hate Russians if whink of my experience(except some legion vatniks, who are like we wuz nazis n shiet), but we are kinda cautious and never try to underrestimate what you Ivans might decide when drunk. Most of our relations were fucked up by stupid politicians, who thought that WE WUZ WEST YUROP NOW.
A few years back I spoke to a businessman, who said that if you want to do business with Russia, do it through Finland because Estonia-Russia relations are fucked.
>doing nothing about hostile NATO-coups in neighbouring countries
It was Yanukovich who fucked things up. But what do you expect from a local hat thief?
The reason why all this started was that oligarchs were fed up with having to pay huge amounts of money to Yanuk for keeping their companies, factories etc. and even then they just had to hope that they get lucky andcan keep most of their shit.
>its easy, especially when CIA helps a lot
Why would CIA help it? US and EU don't want to fuck things up for Russia.
I like and dislike russians at the same time. What to do
>nothing to do with CIA
you can't be serious m8
>Why would CIA help it? US and EU don't want to fuck things up for Russia.
EU not, but USA yes for sure because if somehow EU and Russia gets in bed together, it's over for good old USA as the only superpower of the world.
The USSR is bye bye, no more, kaput, tovarisch, and not going to return.
so enjoy your life in the United Soviet States of America while you can , and oh yeah, stock up, it's going collapse as well.
>I heard tourists get a cold shoulder there.
Don't know about Latvians or Lithuanians but Estonians basically try to ignore or avoid everyone. We're cold and numb people and other people usually take this the wrong way.
And we're especially careful when it comes to Russians. We just have bad experiences - USSR imported some vatniks or churkas as workers to Estonia. And they were not the most pleasant Russians.
>You have nothing to fear now, you're in NATO.
We know. But we still like to think like Bismarck said: "Never trust Russians".
>if somehow EU and Russia gets in bed together, it's over for good old USA as the only superpower of the world.
Kek. China, m8. China,
United States: US$7.8 billion (16.3% of global wheat exports)
Canada: $7.2 billion (15.1%)
France: $5.4 billion (11.4%)
Australia: $5.3 billion (11.2%)
Russia: $5.3 billion (11.2%)
Germany: $3.1 billion (6.4%)
Ukraine: $2.3 billion (4.8%)
Romania: $1.3 billion (2.7%)
India: $1.1 billion (2.3%)
Kazakhstan: $960 million (2%)
Apparently, you export more wheat that Russia. Also Ukraine wtf, that cunt is a giant grain field with the best earth in the world(cernosium). It should be #1 desu
>Apparently, you export more wheat that Russia.
Their government and agriculture industry is that incompetent, yes. There are regions of Russia similar to the Midwest that are basically untapped due to the fact no one's prepared to invest in the infrastructure needed.
>we still like to think like Bismarck said: "Never trust Russians"
Well, he said it because we were enemies in 1878. It was a question of spheres of influence, not a fair diplomacy.
meh, and then what, devalue the market, feed all the arabs and africans with almost free grain and watch the population explode even more?
better off letting that for grazing get some of that grass fed steaks and dairy, which I heard the ruskies are also somewhat inept at,with counterfeit cheese and whatnot. Idk if the self imposed food from the EU is still on,but if it is it needs to stop
The ruble certainly falls, but domestic prices are reasonable.
72?! Where?! I just... well, all my life I didn't worry about money so now I shouldn't. I'd better read the book I wanted to right now.
Bye-bye for a month, /int/! I'll miss you.
what kind of stunts are those :DD
>Shoygu was born in Chadan, Tuva, to a Tuvan father and a Russian mother. During his youth, he acquired the nickname Shaitan (Satan), due to the various stunts he engaged in.
>tfw russia is more turkic than turkey
> Russia is doomed
seriously? in a thousand years Russia has seen invasions, wars, famine, threat of a nuclear war against countries with about 90% global GDP
hell, 17 years ago Ruble/USD rate crashed, rouble was valued 1/ 24th of what it was 12 months before that
and yet, NOW, Russia is doomed
seriously you guys
The more time you spend in squander the less resources you have to actually expand to develop products for the global market.
At this rate it will only take longer before Russia even comes close to Europe's level.
lol, iphone, steamgames, japanese cars in russia is the cheapest in the world. because we still a huge market and nobody want to be replacement of competitors.
and we have become more attractive for tourism.
well bread(and a lot of food actually) price still do not depend on the dollar, or oil
>1. Stop arming rebels in Ukraine and withdraw your troops from Ukraine
>2. Force rebels to negotiating table
>3. Force them to hold actually democratic elections
>4. Withdraw troops from the border(s)
>5. Stop flying your air crafts in EU/NATO airspace, makes us butthurt.
I doubt he has enough alive fanbase now. I still hope gommies will push the guns law after Putin leaves. He was against it when they proposed.
>In the age of 10 he helped one Tuvan Lama to conduct secret rites - from summoning evil spirits to funeral manipulations
Lol, r u wizard.
>we have become more attractive for tourism.
I want to go to Saint Petersburg and Soshi for a holiday.
>Crimea gets the majority of it's electricity and drinking water from Ukraine. The shit would soon escalate to Planet of the Apes level if any conflict would start in there. And since Crimea is basically a burden to Russia, they'd not finance that niggering going on in there, especially when west disapproves it.
Russia will build infra.
Crimea is a strategic port and has natural gas and a Russian population.
The colour revolution was American hybrid war meant to isolate Russia. Fortunately American leadership is stupid as fuck.
But doomed? Naaah
I'm Russian, I don't believe in "at this rate"'s. The "rate" hasn't been constant in this country, ever. Nobody ITT or anywhere else can say what will happen in 5 years in Russia, let alone longer periods.
And I honesty can't be sure Europe's level won't be coming down a little bit in due time
The former is a major tourist attraction solely because it wasn't built by slavshits though.
It's not exactly banning. People will to Romania or smwhere else with planes then go to Turkey etc. Just like banning tomatoes.
>Russia bans Turkish tomatoes
>Turkey sells them to Israel
>Israel sells them to Russia with commision
>mfw gonna get nuked by a wizard tengrist
would be memeest ending ever
>Eggs here are near $4 a box
>Many other essential foods are just as expensive
>Average Russian prostitute is now $30 - $50
Brb, booking plane ticket to St. Petersburg.
>Not watching Cold War era cartoons.
I hate the name you have for it, and the thin strips you make of it.
The $50 ones dont speak english. I had a very rough time with a $80 euro polish girl, she was probably 75 IQ.
Have you ever read Russian literature or watch some of the better movies like Come and See wyou weaboo shit? And I hate Russia as a state(like russians though, esp this board)
I'm sure tentacle porn is the highest form of culture according to you
I was planning on killing myself anyway - might as well get killed sleeping with a hot Ruskie woman.
>war miners not being used to mine ore
It is good for the export companies and local tourism companies like hotels, you're right. But a lower currency is bad for car owners, who need fuel, people who go on holidays abroad, everyone who buys stuff (from) abroad.
>Influx of around two thousand american dollars revives the russian economy! Nobody knows where the mysterious wallet full of cash came from.
>In other news, humanoid peace of meat found floating in the Volga.
yeah build a wall
also btw adopt gun control and universal healthcare, and get rid of your gun culture entirely. They're for the sport of hunting animals, not for shooting people who look at you the wrong way. Also you need stricter food laws and more socialism.
then, maybe, we'll consider forming a new cunt with the north states
I'm a retrofag so I'm biased, can't really dare to recommend. /pol/ related are mostly revisionism metaphors like Toki no Tabibito or just straight anti-American like Gen. LOGH has space Germans. There is some more modern anime about coups, color revolutions and oligarchy based on 40s manga and Metropolis movie, it's also called Metropolis.
>Russia will build infra.
Russia won't build anything. You forget that Russia is basically run by former KGB agents - soldiers, to put it simply. Unlike the west, which is run by businessmen, Russian leaders see economy just as a means to weaken their enemy. If western businessmen can come up with win-win situations, Russian leaders are with military mind - enemy must be destroyed at all costs.
>Crimea is a strategic port and has natural gas and a Russian population.
Crimea was the most criminal region in Ukraine. It's """""governor""""" Vladimir Konstantinov is even worser criminal than Yanukovich.
Also, Crimea is an unusual place even for Ukraine. For example, Yanukovich's friends' alcohol facory recieved financial aid from the state to increase it's products' competition.
The main income in Crimea came from tourists. A few years back, about 6 million tourists visited Crimea, 4 million of them were Ukrainians. I doubt that they are eager to visit Crimea again, considering the things that have happened recently.
Russia has better things to spend money on than some occupied territory they may lose during this decade. Also, since Crimea isn't self sustaining region, one of my friends actually calculated that Crimea will cost Russia 3 billion dollars yeary (twice as much as Chechnya) and that's the cost in the best case. Let's not forget greedy officials who are eager to steal some of it.
I just wouldn't expect some economic miracle from Crimea.
Also, west just cannot end the sanctions anymore. In 1994 they promised to guarantee Ukraine's territorial integrity in exchange for Ukraine to dismantle it's nuclear weapons.
>Fortunately American leadership is stupid as fuck.
I wouldn't say that. I think that Americans just can't understand Russians, Ukrainians and other people like them.
They still have at least some of their sovok-vatnik mentality(depending on the region). Americans just say it's butthurt belt talking and that's their biggest mistake.
enjoy your aids while you can have cheaper and less infected pussy
I smoke way too much hash to care t b h 420 lmao
Although if a rebellion takes place, i'd probably join the protestants
I had to spend 5 days in jail recently (hello drug war) so i'm kinda angsty about the police
>Do you actually think that any agreement would be reached?
I think it's possible, I don't know whether you know Finnish or not or if you can understand the following with just Beesti language skills but:
>You think those neanderthals actually want democracy?
People tend to want the best they can get. Democracy in some form is without argument the best way to govern a country. I find it unlikely that Russians/Ukrainians/Belorussians wouldn't want the best they can get.
slightly more expensive here, are these factory or free range? I usually buy free range bc taste better pay around 110 rub 1.5 $ Organic slightly more expensive but meme because I preffer the pastured free range than those fed exclusively a certified bio feed
not cheap for cheap beer, but you probably have extra tax for it,here it is considered food
damn that's cheap coke
is that for the whole salami or hundred grams? Looks suspiciously cheap.like under 2 dollars esp for that "aged" white one lower left.would not buy, those are expensive to make properly.
because local/national demand in a giant cunt like russia far exceeds whatever export potential there is. Once the russian market is saturated, then they might think of exporting to other cunts
not everyone is a seajew shilling their shit tomatoes to big supermarket chains
TETRIS is more popular than pokemon and mario.
made in soviet union, baby!
not turkey but he had un unexpected surge this christmas season from russians ukranians, in our mountain resorts, guess you get good deals since you celebrate then via the old calendar so it's after we do and the resorts are empty
might as well go to grease then, the news said they also might come to my town since mamaia resort so i'm expecting massive ammount of bydlo and public drunkenness .
also your tomatoes are utter shit,at least the one's you export
russia's always been doomed
but i feel they will eventually get it together, they're going through a revolution of the mind in most of these parts of thw world
>tfw government is probably going to cut interest rate again so housing market continues to inflate instead of crash like the Russians
Lending rate is like 0.75 percent right now. If housing market doesn't crash I'll never own a home.
Sovok-vatnik mentality is the result of living in the Soviet Union for a very long time.
People with sovok-vatnik mentality are basically mostly related to the biological trash that former Soviet Union members have to deal with.
They are mostly uneducated.
>Why would I want to go to school? Education is for faggots, real men work
For example, if you talk to a woman with sovok-vatnik mentality (from an actual interview in Horlivka, Donetsk):
>I hate the west, there are disgusting laws in there. For example, a woman can sue her husband for beating her.
>"So you want your husband to beat you?"
>No. I can kick his ass if I need to. But to rat on your husband, that's sick.
Also, regarding to the Ukraine conflict, they have created 2 truths.
1. Ukraine is ruled by faschists, supported by that jewish shit Poroshenko and the nigger Obama.
2. There are no Russian troops in Ukraine, but we sure as hell kick the faggot and nigger asses of the US and NATO in there
Basically, people with sovok-vatnik mentality live in the most abandoned and unimportant parts of the former USSR. And they live in there like they lived back in the soviet times.
We Estonians don't call Donetsk "Donbabwe" and Lugansk "Luganda" just for fun.
Thank you. I think I've read of similar but more simple descriptions for some ex-soviet state mentality. Some older people I know who immigrated to Canada have complained about it when relatives come visit them in Canada here.
>78,616 -0,518 -0,65%
HAHA -0,65% USA IS COLLAPSING. AW SHIT! WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO NOW STUPID FAT AMERICANS.
Right now, yes. I was partly joking. "You wouldn't download a car" sort of thing.
It has potential for being a good alternative to replace odd parts from discontinued products. It would need to print in better material and not shitty but expensive plastic though.
The technology is still pretty new and I wouldn't invest to any current 3D printing company, but it has the potential to become pretty dank.
First steam engines were inefficient pieces of shit you, give the printers 20 years and it might be a thing.
if only it didn't hurt us as well because of trading ties
It's how things go. Like how plastic and Chinese factories replaced lots of sturdy products made in Europe and North America.
People would rather buy garbage that falls apart then pay for something that could last for 20 years or more.
Are there still a culture of craftmanship? According to my grandparents there were these small general purpose shops in pretty much every single city block and you could like get your bike fixed there or buy nails and hammers etc... Nowadays those stores have pretty much vanished.
in moscow was three huge radio-markets, where you can buy parts and soldering something fun. but now most of them selling only household appliances and shit for smartphones. and i hate smartphones. pda and umpc was nice, but now we forced to use shit without tasks.
