While Amsterdam certainly isn't terrible, there are places I like much better than Amsterdam, such as Utrecht which has a VERY tilted woman to man ratio especially among college aged women (70-30) or something.

It kind of depends on what you want to do, Utrecht is smaller and definitely doesn't have all that Amsterdam could offer.
