Non-Germans of /int/,
How do you put up with German people? They are very rude and insulting because they always speak their minds, criticize others and say what they think in ordinary conversations. Because of this culture, they consider this harassing attitude okay. How do you handle the harrassive, bullying enabling culture of the German people?
I have a 62yo CouchSurfer from Bavaria staying with my family right now.
He's alright I guess but really, I dunno... boring. He seems so literal, almost like he has autism.
Oh and tells me he takes every opportunity he gets whenever he meets an American to rant about how their obsession with guns is psychotic.
I asked him who will protect him from the dangerous refugees since he's not too fond of them (but still hates movements like PEDIGA) and he told me "that's what the police are for."
I'm not exaggerating though when he says he hates Americans and rubs that gun shit in their faces every chance he gets.
Germans usually acknowledge my superiority within a few minutes, so it's not a big deal.
Just pretend to listen to them, agree, bring up a few points they can rage about yourself and they will be your loyal subjects. I mean equal partners.
That's Germany for you.
Our gun sales are through the roof, because the invasion just won't stop and the police isn't doing shit.
It's only a matter of months until the first paramilitaries will pop up.
There are no opportunities for their kind here, we have no work for uneducated third worlders. They offer nothing, they burn through our tax money and they destabilize the country.
From what I learned they tend to be a rather direct people in terms of conversation. This of course being a natural consequence of the precision of their language. If you study the language you'll see that it's not that they're trying to be what you might think is rude, but that's just the way it's said over there.
>not calling a mass arrival 1 million non-educated islamic migrants who are mostly male an invasion
idk why you'd defend them. it's the europeans who are trying to defend their own safe, prosperous lifestyle from them.
do you event illegal immigration into the US? are you even white?
Fact, half of them are analphabets, can just read, or JUST finished elementary school.
And NOW you should remember that every part of their educational system is about 2-4 years behind ours quality wise.
They're fine when they don't act smug on us.
Last autumn i met an old german tourist in the city center. He dropped his umbrella and when i wanted to pick it up and give back to him, he started shouting at me. When i told him that i just wanted to help, he made an angry face and said "Thanks".
I think he was autistic
It's hard to explaing but there is something weird with them. The way they act, move and talk. Can't put my finger on it.
>They are very rude and insulting because they always speak their minds
>criticize others and say what they think in ordinary conversations.
What's wrong with this?
>How do you handle the harrassive, bullying enabling culture of the German people?
Now you sound like a fag.
Better saying to somebody that you think hes an ass than lying in his face and smiling while you are doing it.
It will be with the polite see and without swear words, so it is more hurtfull truth than outright crass/rude.
>It will be with the polite see and without swear words, so it is more hurtfull truth than outright crass/rude.
That's not very polite at all. That's not even constructive criticism.
German buying milk:
>Hi, where's milk?
Other nations buying milk:
>Hello sir, how are you?
>blah blah blah
>Oh that's so nice, SOOOO NICE!
>blah blah blah
>I'm soooo happy for you!
>blah blah blah
>blah blah blah
>blah blah blah
>(clerk would be deadly insulted by having to admid that he's out of milk)
>So... do you think it's a good day to bye some milk?
>(clerk IS deadly insulted by having to admid that he's out of milk)
>You have insulted my familiy and my religion and my pride by making me having to admid that he's out of milk
>(guns being fired)
>(cops turn up, shoot a few innocent kids)
>got no milk, anyway
>Being polite is more important.
In the end it's the truth that wins.
According to the BBC pole in 2014, Germans really hate the whole East Asia. They ACTUALLY fucking hate Japan but also Korea and China in the same way. It's confirmed that the most anti Japan and East Asia western country on the poll is not even Spain, not even Britbongland, not even another kind of one like Russia, but Germany.
I thought that they started off turning into a pure racial/segregated country. But refugees happened in 2015 then all of a sudden they started to cater to them in their full force.
Why Germans so easily fucking hate Asians but love Arabs and muslims so much? 2bh In 2014 I already had a strange feel about Germany.
I thought that their media reported a bunch of anti Japan campaigns and articles with a huge leftist bias but still...why? Why Germans treat East Asians as such uncultured subhuman savages but dont Middle Eastern ones. I've still been confused over it.
Fake image. We don't have enough chinks anyway for that to make sense.
Most people don't think about Japan too much but those that do are likely to be very positive about it. At least I've never met anyone that didn't like it.
>asking somebody what his family is doing, how his children are doing in school and whatnot before asking for something is rude
"Oy m8, how're you?"
"Same, can I ask you something?"
There, simple guide to requesting something.
Have you actually ever met a german?
How about you just pack your bags and leave germany, Achmed?
Don't like it? Leave!
What makes us Americans is our shared values of opportunity and inclusivity, and an American who actively devalues either opportunity and competition or diversity is a living insult
It would largely depend on their attitude toward me being
a melanin enriched person. This however, could be said of
most historical figures. I usually divorce the people from their
I know absolutely no one here who hates Japan. Most people I know like Japan, some of them are even weebs. I have absolutely no idea what people they asked to get such a result in this poll.
I embrace it. It's better to be honest. Honesty sometimes hurts, & that should learn to be dealt with. Offense is only taken.
Do you want everyone to be superficial, sugar-coating everything? That's not efficient. In-fact, that can be offensive as well, the other person sugar-coating an opinion or truth implies they think I cannot handle it.
At worst they're murderers and rapists, at best they're leeching off the welfare programs. Regardless of which they are, they're Muslims which means they support an ideology that is fundamentally against western ideals of freedom. As someone who personally lives near a shit ton of Muslims, they don't assimilate at all and make their own shitty communities that preach anti western shit all the time, so fuck off with your cuck shit
I honestly have no idea how that number came together. I like japan and I don't know anyone who does not. I think it's a good, civilized country. You have some flaws but which country hasn't. Asia in general looks sometimes a bit weird for me, but I guess thats because of our different cultures.
He was, though, but if you're Catholic you understandably don't like him
Just like if you are a Church of England member you believe Henry VIII was within his rights to execute Thomas More
In most English speaking countries, careful phrasing is called for. Even if you are trying to intimidate, verbally wreck or persuade someone through strong arming them, in English you want to be very nice about it.
What are you being patriotic about? When I celebrate July 4th I am not only celebrating the system of government put in place by the founding fathers, but also an inclusive melting pot that not unrelatedly happens to be very powerful. Some of our greatest soldiers in the second world war were black or Native American, Jewish refugees provided brainpower to win that war, which is something people holding neo-Charles Lindberghian views of American identity would do well to remember.
i THINK the US society has many flaws and your political system and economy is pretty corrupt. I have a feeling that your country could really decline this century. So far, in history every big nation destroyed itself.
That being said, I think that the majority of americans are very nice and good people.
The 95 theses was at its time the most articulate critique of discontent with the Catholic church, and because of its significance to Protestantism one of the most important documents in history.
>at its time the most articulate
For someone who doesn't know anything else from this time propably.
You can have something for simple minded people like Martin "I don't want to pay my tax" Luther or you can get some serious stuff from Italy at this time.
>Have German staying over my house while he visits America
>Tell him to make himself at home
>He unpacks, immediately takes his shoes off (without asking), and takes my room instead of the guest room
>Tell him he needs to use the guest room
>He complies but gives me a confused look
>Show him around the house and tell him to help himself to the fridge if he's hungry
>Later catch him stuffing tons of things into his travelbag
>"What the fuck, guy, what the hell are you doing. Well you might as well take the whole fridge at this rate geeze"
>He stares at me for a moment and then takes even more from the fridge
>What the fuck
>Knock the food out of his hand
>"You can't just take half the fridge with you, you need to put that back"
>A few times he tries to practice his accent with me, his grammar is fine but his pronunciation is not so good
>"Well, it's not completely terrible..."
>'Danks anon wat kan i empruf?'
>Tell him everything that's wrong
>He gets mad and asks why I said it was not terrible if I think it's so bad then and tells me lying is bad
What the fuck is wrong with Germans
It's funny that most of the things you hear out of German peoples' mouths are the same things that get American teenagers suspended from school for bullying and harassment until they get their act together and learn to function civilly.
Superficiality is feminine.
Men interpret words as they're said.
>American buying milk
>Just gets the milk
>Walks up to register or self check out
>Cashier: "Hi how are you did you find everything okay?"
>Me: "Yes it was fine"
>Cashier rings stuff up
>"Alright that will be 3.50"
>Cashier bags milk
>"Have a good day!"
>German buying milk
>"UNGA UNGA WHERE DA MILK AT"
>"GIVE MILK WANT MILK PLS SELL MILK"
>"UGH UNGA *points to sign that displays price"
>"UGH....*reaches into pocket to pay with antiquated coins*"
>slams coins into pay tray
>Cashier slams milk into German's hand
>"UNGA UNGA BUSINESS DONE GET OUT"
>"UNGA UNGA ME GO HOME NOW"
>Drinks milk straight from the carton
My guess is that it's caused by the Fukushima disaster and Japan's reliance on nuclear power.
In 2010 50% still had a positive view of Japan.
Most Germans strongly oppose nuclear power and the discourse here isn't exactly rational, many Germans expected Japan to turn off all nuclear power plants over night.
Whaling might also be a reason.
I don't think that there's a hate for East Asia here. When it comes to China most people will probably think about their poor human rights record, Chinese buying our heavy industry and pollution.
South Korea gets almost no coverage in the media.
The East Asian cliche here is still that of ordered, conformist societies full of hard working, polite people, although Chinese tourists are probably slowly changing that.
Thank the Victorians. Also dueling. If being impolite can quite possibly result in you having to risk your life in a duel with pistols or swords you err on the side of politeness.
