En tiedä mistä tuut, mutta noin sanotaan ihan yleensä stadissa. Plekseistä käytetään (ainakin oman kokemuksen mukaan) yleisemmin termiä plehat, kun puhutaan laseista ja "vetää pleksit" on se termi, missä itse sana pleksit yleensä esiintyy.

Gettin' Plexi-glassed drunk is actually hockey slang. The ice rink is lined by plexi-glass, and as there's lot's of tackling in hockey, sometimes tackling somebody can be expressed as "vetää plekseihin" eg. "Karalahti veti/ajeli Kapasen plekseihin".
