>>53614117 Archbishop of Canterbury calls for 1 year of mourning Train, bus and plane services stop Rasheeds and Tyrones loot stores because the police have stopped working Lefties riot in the street because they want to get rid of the monarchy Economy goes to shit because all business close Army and police can't stop the rioters and looters because they are supposed to be mourning The UK crashes in flames and takes the rest of the commonwealth with it
>>53614899 >Communists True, they hate all nice things
>and minorities Eh, not really. Plenty of "minorities" like the Queen. In particular those from Commonwealth countries, e.g. Indians. Also most Europeans, especially the French, tend to like the Queen.
>>53614899 >Communists and minorities Unfortunately the current leader of our opposition party is pretty much a communist. So edgy, anti establishment views are becoming more common. She is still quite popular though, probably more so than any of our current politicians.
>>53615272 Yeah. It should be unsurprising because the Queen represents stability, tradition, continuity. Values that most sensible people prefer to have in a head of state, regardless of whether they come from a minority/immigrant background. In fact one could argue that a sensible immigrant from an unstable country would place more value on stability than a Brit who might take it for granted
On the other hand, Corbyn and his worldview appeals to the idealists. One of this country's greatest strengths is that idealists are a minority, making it impossible for someone of his ilk to get elected in Britain. As Tony Blair famously remarked about the 2015 election, 2020 (if Corbyn remains as leader) will be an election...
“in which a traditional left-wing party competes with a traditional right-wing party, with the traditional result”
>>53615927 desu the greatest threat the west faces is unemployed college grads, these are people who are used to existing within strictly defined and controlled structures. if they have few to no prospects outside of schooling, they'll prove to be ready recruits for mass movements which will allow them to recuse themselves of independent action in favor of yet another group identity. immigrants tend to be the opposite, for them their new country IS their new source of identity, their escape from their undesired previous self which existed within the context of their previous home as long as immigration policy is strict and prudent, and requires the immigrants to have employment before transferring, this will continue to be the case.
>>53616043 I also have some family members who like Corbyn. What I particularly can't stand, is that (like Corbyn and his North Islington buddies), they are well-off and middle class, living a comfortable life, and they drone on about what's good for poorer people, despite having no idea. It's so hypocritical. In the Labour party itself the Hard Left come from wealthy London seats, while the Labour Old Right (who they despise) come from the poorer Midlands seats. And it's amazingly hypocritical how many Labour members came out against this perfectly reasonable suggestion:
People cry for David Bowie because he actually did stuff. He was talented, creative, unique. A cultural icon whose styles defined entire decades.
People will cry for Queen Elizabeth because err....she's been there for a long time, like, meeting other leaders and stuff, in a job she attained by pure accident, living off wealth she doesn't deserve.
>>53614117 "The Queen is dead, long live the King!" King Charles III will be coronated in about a years time, still acting as King in the interim. The country will grind to a standstill. I work for Her Majesty's Government, so we will continue as normal, as we must.
I'll cry a lot though. I live in a very wretched part of the country, so I will probably get in a few fights with Republicans.
>>53614896 >UKIP openly hate our Prince for this >yet people call UKIP right-wing lol
I will serve him with utmost loyalty, as I do Her Majesty. I would LITERALLY do anything She told me to.
