Basically I'll be studying a Heavy Duty Mechanics program, it's a 2 years Diploma. After that I have to find an employer to train me as an apprentice, so I can get the Red Seal certificate after 4 years of work. I then would like to apply as a permanent resident of Canada.

Overall this will cost me 175k BRL (about 60k CAD).

I can speak English and I'm willing to learn French plus I'm bringing money to the country (tuition is kinda high for international students) so I don't see myself as bad as a refugee, even though you guys may dislike me being there.

I don't know what to think of Canada, but it seems like a safe country where one can make a decent honest living working as a tradesman, which is why I want to live there.

BC, just outside of Vancouver (Burnaby), and I have my Automotive Red Seal but not my Heavy Duty. My company pays me for having my Automotive Red Seal at the Heavy Duty rate because they want me to stay with them.

If you go to Alberta or to northern BC you can find jobs that pay 50-60$ per hour but it's mostly out in the field and not in the shop and it's usually a fly in for 3 weeks(or however long they need you) and fly out for 1 week, depending on where you live.

Even with low oil prices and all of the layoffs you hear about (It's mostly unskilled laborers and drill hands they don't need) they still need Operators and Heavy Duty Mechanics.
