55% of Americans have been in those echo chambers then.
72% disagree that we are the greatest.
Muh baby boy trayvon dindu nuffin. He a good boy going to turn around his life and go to college! Ban guns! *mutters unitelligble marxist bullshit and flies away in his air force one*
Those pictures are usually exaggerated. It's about color tone and make-up. He has really obvious make-up in the first picture. That colored looking foundation.
Here's a really interesting video of him talking about his identity crisis as a young man and the context necessary to understand race relations in the US. It's a lot more nuanced than anything you'll find in today's shrill, politicized environment:
>racial tension at higher than before he became president
>muslims can do no wrong but guns are bad
>military purge of top brass to make them more pc
>gave up 4 senior taliban terrorist for a deserter
>Guantanamo bay still up
He said this in the end at around 54 minutes. I didn't know about it, and he talked quickly about it because he was finishig up questions.
He talks a lot about maps of people, isolation, and how people can reach out to each other with their similarities, even as separate tribes (races, according to him). In the end the he talks about how black identity became a part of America and people need to affirm that. I like his use of the word tribe because in this modern day, with the internet, younger kids don't have a problem with racism and are against it. Now there are different kinds of tribes that people can look to.
I understand why Obama always talks about family. He had his white and black family and he learned during his adolescence as he became more of an activist. He had to search for a new community because he evolved from his family, just like how his grandparents found each other and connected 18th century Kenya to 21st century civil rights.
>He had fun during his presidency.
Would /int/ be Bush's main board on 4chan?
To add to my last comment. He said how people need to first be taught, that in democracy, they have a power to use to choose how they want instead of things being a certain way that they can't do anything about. So like a poor person that would need health care. And then later once they learn more, they can have more advanced political discussion. I wish he would have talked about how this relates to what he said about tribes coming together and people being similar to each other. Like the 18 year old in Chicago and the 18 year old in Kenya with a violent father and a mother that committed suicide, or other difficult things like that. The book was his stepping through the struggle and anger in his head, and going through the process of overcoming it, but like the white guy asked during the questions, "What is there for a chance for these things to happen in the future?". And Obama responded with that he believed Americans can do it basically. But his current political generation is not doing it yet. He generalized about how Americans don't want to sacrifice.
The idea is to constantly shift the Overton window to the left and to characterize anything to the right of it as “hate” and maybe even a crime. Once you make a gain, you pocket that and start pushing on the next big thing – world war G is won, let’s work on world war T. 8 years ago Obama, a liberal Democrat, could say that he was not in favor of gay marriage but if you say that today you are a hater and maybe should lose your job or your business. Today a mainstream Democrat might still express concern about having transexuals in a girl’s high school locker room but Gaia willing, 8 years from now they will have the legal right to do so and anyone who says otherwise is a hater, does not accept Science, etc.
that's the least what we could do to him.
you all need to learn how to shut up and stop fighting
>federal reserve lowered unemployment
>deficit was lowered by republicans
>insurance at gunpoint
The Islamic State was founded in 1999.
>nuclear is exponentially better
this is my argument as well
im not going to tell you how itll all work out in the edge though
Every politician always ages like shit. Its an ungrateful job.
Dumbass did it to himself. Had he just listened to the needs of average Americans rather than pander to divisive ethnocentric and crony interest groups, he wouldn't have fucked up so much.
>granting more outsourcing and amnesty despite 90+ million unemployment
>inflaming racial tensions
>appeasing Islamic terrorists, Narco terrorists, and Communists
>condoning racist hypocrisy, hate-crimes, genocide, and mass looting, rioting, and shooting by both left-wing and Islamic fanatics while blaming guns
>out of the gutter
>buy healthcare you can't afford or else we'll take your money by force
>generate more national debt future generations will be forced to pay
>poverty and corruption still rampant under leftist president
>blames the right
Why are Socialists like this?
I voted for him the first time because i figured i give him the chance to fuck up just like those before him. I voted for him again due to the fact that the opposition wasn't anything noteworthy
>that amount of greentext to validate your idea
Give up kiddo.
