You're thinking of Iqaluit, buddy. Obviously you can't drive to Iqaluit because it's on a fucking island. Consumer products in Yellowknife and Whitehorse are delivered by semis over the highway, same as almost everywhere else in Canada. They cost more, sure, because they're still remote even though you absolutely can drive there, but they're not as expensive as in Iqaluit or in the small towns in the Territories, further north.
Really, though, ARE you from Toronto? It's gotta be somewhere in the East.
