Conflicting thoughts edition
Started replaying STALKER Call of Pripyat
Very spooked ;_;
>americans make fun of canadians when our president is just as bad
STALKER just could not win my praise
the crouching mechanics are dumb, you sprint at a gazillion miles an hour, the movement controls are generally dumb, the AI is pretty stupid
I expected an 11/10 the way /k/ talked about it. Beyond disappointed
I'm tired of Capitalism
I'm trying to eat less food but I really want to go to CVS or 7/11 and get some oreos and chips.
I ate some pineapple to try to satiate my hunger but it wasn't enough.
I'm drunk desu though. Should I go to the store?
Started Learning Spanish. Using TuneIn to listen to radio stations in Latin America. Most of them played more American and European music.
Found a nice station in Peru that played nothing but homegrown tunes. Very nice music, wish I caught the genre.
How do Americans stand out?
Also, what do Mexicans generally think of Mexico? Mostly posive, negative, or whatevs?
If you're trying to control your eating you shouldn't drink
Yamato Damashii, the empire will rise again
For a straight male, yes, you only have one dick.
Otherwise you can double or even triple the pleasure.
And they've been paying less than 1% on it, while 95% of it is held by Japanese. It's just an alternative measure of taxation.
Mate, you can toggle crouch and press the assigned button to crouch if you'd like, and do the same with low crouch, what's the problem? The controls are one of the things that totally aren't a problem with the game, sounds like you're a fucking moron to me MATE.
drink some water and eat some almonds, also cut back on the booze anon
Dude he killed Osama dude
with his bear hands.
>you will never save qt ukrainian grills from the disgusting commies
I'm going to keep drinking and just eat better and run, that'll be good enough for my porky pig-self and it won't make me want to literally kill myself. Also the SOTU was tonight and look at my flag(s), I'm obligated to drink tonight.,
Also almonds are loaded with calories and fat, "good" fat but fat that I really don't need tat this time of night nonetheless.
Thing is, there are very few boundaries for PM. They can kind of just do what they want, if that's illegal, they can change the law about it. There aren't even that many differences between Harper's and Trudeau's governing. Harper certainly had a ideological difference, but he changed to office.
Presidents are supposed to uphold the constitution. In terms of doing that, he's horrible. In terms of a pragmatic leader he's ok. He really should have tried to have a major legislation that wasn't healthcare. Start with something smaller, build up trust and then move forwards. Instead he tried to ram a mess down everybody's throat, it's kind of worked and he's been uneffective since.
That means I shouldn't be bullied then
>you should babysit my kid so me n the wife can have a date night
>ill buy you some bourbon to drink
>its a piece of cake to watch the baby and the four y/o just watches tv
What the fuck happened to my friends and why are they stupider than they were years ago?
>there are very few boundaries for PM. They can kind of just do what they want, if that's illegal, they can change the law about it.
That's really almost entirely false. Also we too have a constitution.
Each drink of alcohol, is like 150 calories. You can eat a small bag of chips and get the same calories from 2 beers.
I wish I was in a place mentally where I could switch beer for weed.
>tfw you pee but then there's still like a little bit of pee in your urethra or something that gives you the pee feeling so you go back and stand there for a while but nothing happens so you sit down on the john and shitpost on /int/ and hope that either a bit of piss arrives from your kidneys soon or the feeling subsides on its own
This is some shit, boys. I have a beer and chips and dip in the living room.
but you're a little girl
therefore you should be bullied
They shouldn't be parents.
It was a "suddenly my birth control messed up" pregnancy when they were talking about maybe divorcing.
I stopped hanging out with them as much after that. Really not worth getting involved in complicated relationshit and drama.
Jacob you dumbass.
>How do Americans stand out?
Hard to explain since this is Culiacan
We have crystal clear white Mexicans but there's this very specific facial trait that some of your white brethren have that makes them stand out, something in their look, the way they see people while walking around I don't know
I'm not fluent enough yet to actually explain my point(in English) so I might not make sense
>Also, what do Mexicans generally think of Mexico? Mostly posive, negative, or whatevs?
Of the country we think of it as an exceptionally fine place to come visit and have a chill time, of our government we think of incompetence
I said no
Not worth it and I don't know how to change a baby
Nor do I want to learn
Nice bro, I'm going to try the Gulf states if thinks don't pan out here, heard I can make bank as an ESL teacher.
Its comforting to know I can just leave forever and even cut off contact with everyone I've ever known if it comes to that.
>Of the country we think of it as an exceptionally fine place to come visit and have a chill time, of our government we think of incompetence
I wonder if there's any country on the planet that doesn't think like this.
I am opening an English school in June. Is anyone interested in becoming an English teacher in Vietnam? I think it would be really cool to hire someone off /int/ if you're right for the job.
Ideal candidate will look like someone a Vietnamese parent wants teaching English to their kid:
>not fat or disturbingly ugly, being fit and good-looking is a huge plus but not a requirement
>bachelor's degree or higher
>capable of learning a difficult foreign language (speaking vietnamese will help you a lot here but you also need to understand what challenges the students are facing when they learn english)
>good social skills (as one of a small handful of foreigners in the area you will be a walking advertisement for the school, and need to represent it well)
>capable of drinking a lot of beer
>fast learner, no job experience required but i want someone who will take this seriously and try to be the best teacher they can be
What I offer:
>take care of visa shit and travel expenses
>housing and will help you overcome inconveniences of living in an underdeveloped area with very few english speakers
>at least $14/hour, possibly more depending on the candidate. this is HUGE money in vietnam by the way. you will be among the wealthiest people in the city
>opportunities for advancement-- you could also be opening your own center someday if you've got the skills
>find you a gf, mekong delta girls are famous throughout asia for their beauty btw
>free vietnamese lessons
>Also we too have a constitution.
Really, what is it?
We don't have a constitution. We have a ongoing series of charters and proclamations, that combined with English common law and later Canadian and British acts that make up our governing documents. These combine to make up a constitution, but we don't have a actual one.
I'd sooner skip breakfast than forgo my drinks senpai.
True, but I've reduced my eating enough so that even with drinking I'm at a deficit.
Also, smoking makes me eat a lot more than drinking. One of the most important things for me was running out of weed last week so that I didn't binge eat whilst high.
Luckily I was already two beers in, so some piss showed up just as I got Post Successful!.
I wasn't forcing anything, just patiently waiting for things to take care of themselves.
College applications due in two weeks, I still don't know what I want to do with my life.
Canada fags help me. I just want an office job that can sustain a nice little life
>Just turned 18
>My life is now hell.
Here it's the opposite. Cheapest 6 pack is bad and like $8, drinkable stuff starts around $12. Weed is $10/gram. Alcohol kind of makes me manic, and weed just makes me depressive. I can only handle weed if I'm drinking.
>I'd sooner skip breakfast than forgo my drinks senpai.
That can't be healthy, anon.
Stop drinking pls
do it for us
>just turned 18
As a fresh 21, the next three years are going to speed by and then you'll hate your present self.
I don't know how cheap six packs get cause I'm a bit of a snob, but I tend to pay $10-12 for a six pack of something decent and a gram is $20. Both ensure two nights of intoxication if I'm prudent but one costs half as much and makes me able to talk to strangers.
>She's trying to tell you something.
Look at the left side just above the pic
Gulf states doesn't tend to hire males right off the bat, they'll want previous experience elsewhere.
Supposedly instead of ESL, they just want regular teachers for subjects in English. And arabs are the most horrible students ever.
>18 years old
>have been told repeatedly these last few years were the best of my life
>wonder how that could be when I was so miserable
>whenever I think of the future i'm afraid that they are right
>Cheapest 6 pack is bad and like $8
Canada is literally hell isn't it?
Trader joe's simpler times is $3.99 (approximately 400,000 CAD) for a 6.2% abv 6-pack and it's decent if it's cold.
Chill brah, mostly because I wake up too late to make my oatmeal, not because I'm a massive alky or anything.
>Care to elaborate a bit more?
Mmm, maybe I can explain myself better if I do it in a crude way:
White Americans traits are clean
White Mexican traits are off looking
>Also how common are blue/green eyes in Mexico?
Green eyes are more common than blue eyes but both of them are quite rare to see on a daily basis, more so the latter
Starting to feel that way.
Im looking at that right now but I dont really know if I can make it. My ENG mark is a 94% but im failing math right now..
Alternatives? I really want a job in law but cant seem to find the right program
There's no point of looking at universities either.
How do I get used to the crazy fucking speeds that Spanish speakers use?
I'm not him, but a few months ago I was in a mall trying to use an ATM, when these 2 tall af Americans came loudly talking about having trouble withdrawing money from the ATMs and other shit, I think they were german American, anyways while there's quite a bit of "white" people here even if they had kept their mouth shut I think that their physical traits and the way they carried themselves would have given them away.
Is your family paying your tuition? If no, don't go to university immediately.
If you can stay at home, do. But get a part time job, and take a couple classes at a college.
If you want to work in a office, and aren't a normie, probably should try accounting.
oh hey, I have all of that.
How hard is it to learn Vietnamese?
Yeah, I'm a short guy, I only buy one six pack a check (biweekly, and not counting drinks when eating out), and I make a point of drinking when I don't feel full.
It's economic desu
should i ask if i've seen her in a drake video
idk how to talk to black chicks
Government puts a tax of about 100% on alcohol in general. And it a lot of places you can only buy from government stores.
It's more of a cash grab. The similarities between Canadian and American consumption show it doesn't reduce it.
Spanish speakers just seem to speak very quickly. I don't know if it's better to keep listening to shows and games at native speed and just get used it, or go for something like News In Slow Spanish to build up to understanding native speed Spanish.
As it stands right now, through OSAP I can attend uni or college and pay back the tuition after I graduate and get a job.
I don't plan on going to university just for the fact that I'm not going into the science field and that primarily what its for (In my high school at least, I'm one of the 3 out of 500 who aren't taking any Gr. 12 Science courses)
>If you can stay at home, do. But get a part time job, and take a couple classes at a college.
My parents say that Im more than welcome to stay at home and I probably intend to. My only fear for taking a year off and getting a job is that I'll fall out of the loop in terms of academics. Part time classes seem like a waste imo.
>If you want to work in a office, and aren't a normie, probably should try accounting.
Not good at math
>Im looking at that right now but I dont really know if I can make it. My ENG mark is a 94% but im failing math right now..
A lot of high school math teachers are shit. Getting people who get university degrees in sciences to teach people that struggle with it is a bad idea. Then have them teach 4 different grades in math so they don't even know the curriculum beyond the text book is worse.
Colleges should give you free upgrading in math in Ontario. They usually have instructors whose job it is to just teach one course, and they know they're teaching it to students bad in math, so they dumb it down and simplify it a bit. I went from a 53% in Math 11 to 84% in the college equivalent.
Law sucks, it's just a cashgrab to go to law schools. Don't go unless you're financially independent and successful in something else.
>spent the first 4 years of my life speaking nothing but Spanish
>literally forget all of it
English was the language god intended people to speak
Yeah, I've visited Canada and your liquor prices are expensive as fuck.
Also I bought some shit weed for 20 CAD (approximately 0.0000000000000000002 USD) in Montreal while drunk from some skinny black kid because I was trying to impress some slag.
Juno and 21 jump street were filmed in my high school. It's not that big a deal.
Growing up in Vancouver it becomes a thing to just watch stuff to see Vancouver places. It's funny how well they hide the asians for that.
>want to go to college so badly but I failed 10th grade math
>program I want requires 10 and 11 math
>don't know what the fuck to do
feels bad man, my parents didn't go to college but all they want is to watch me succeed. What the fuck am i gonna do. it's already January
I'm a HS dropout, and I'm fine with my life. Only go to college if you really want to, don't let your parents pressure you into it. It's a huge of waste of money if you do so. And you're not sure than just wait. There's no age limit you can go whenever you feel ready.
Guess who didn't get banned :^)))))
You're overthinking academics. It's like a movie theater, you show up with money, and they let you in.
Bad at math, or arithmetic? Business math for me was just exponents, introductory statistics and pre calculus. Teaching styles can really effect your math grade. In high school they often focus on the average or above average students, hoping the below average would drop out. In college they really try to let you pass.
Anyone have any experience with these colleges? I can only attend these three due to the fact that I cant res.
Im with you buddy. At least you know what you want to do.
If you dont mind me asking, what do you do for a living now?
>tfw no more fun super heroish games like prototype
everything is so serious and boring these days in vidya
I do construction right now making above average. Trade schools are always an option for good paying jobs. Me personally I like strong physical labor, but there's plenty of trades that aren't as physically demanding. I love my job so much more than anything I would do coming out of college, but that's just me. I know a plumber in Canada that makes a shit ton of money, triple digits.
How the hell are you going to exercise in swim trunks anon? They are the most uncomfy clothing outside of the water I can't even imagine doing a deadlift in one with the netting giving you an atomic wedgie
only if she's really good.
If you're with someone and the first like 3 months aren't perfect then drop her. That's the honeymoon period and if that's not even good then it's gonna be shit.
I live on the west coast, so I don't really know.
Usually it's easiest in a big city. So Halifax? Montreal would be a better choice.
Montreal has this big drum circle thing on top of a hill. That would be the best place to go and look.
Yeah if you plan on marrying her.
do quick picks texas common
Yes. Instead of COD bullshit, you'll probably end up a rifleman.
You have a bolt action rifle, 1 shot will kill you, the battlefield is dominated by MGs and artillery, and you need to use cover and teamwork to survive and win
>mfw someone in greenland freezes to death
that sounds amazing
it's a roll cake, trust me
And it's pretty good. Wish I could share it.
You owe it to yourself to play RO2.
Buy it on sale. It's pretty crazy. I'm a big fan of shooters, but it really takes the cake for immersion. And unlike ARMA, the learning curve isn't more than 45 minutes.
>tfw Tripwire was offered the entire IOM mod as content for an update
>they decided not to because fuck you, that's why
Pisses me off to no end. One of only two games that gets the sound of incoming fire right
DAILY REMINDER COMMUNISM IS THE ANSWER TO TODAY'S PROBLEMS
REMINDER THAT both libratarian socialism and authoritarian socialism must work together to achive victory
I was in the same position before, I graduated in 2013 and have been sitting at home working part time and had no idea what to do.
I finally applied for this september, 2 years college to be a computer systems technician, and then 2 more years in uni for a bachelor's in IT. Feels like a huge weight has been lifted now that I don't stress about what I'm going to do anymore
Do Mexicans read Cabeza de Vaca's account of his time with the natives?
It's pretty deep and technical. If you don't git good squad leaders will bitch at you for not being good, or if you play as squad leader and you're bad people will get pissed at you and tell you that you're useless because you don't use smokes or you use them very badly.
t. eternal RO2 baddie
>Cabeza de Vaca
an actual name lmao
>not actually making any factual points to refute
>post in /cum/ once in a while
>keep hoping people will notice you and at least reply to you
Helium tank is on its way anyway, it doesn't matter anymore.
Just occidentally sent a btc transaction with a transaction fee of only 0.00001BTC.
The address i sent it to will be valid for 7 days.
More than 10 hours and it still isn't confirmed
I may have wasted a lot of money ;_;
Stalin lived large, compared to the average Soviet. Castro lives large, compared to the average Cuban. The Chinese ruling class live large as hell compared to the average Chinese. The North Korean ruling family (a serious goddamn dynasty) lives large compared to the average North Korean.
Don't say "but that's not real communism", because they all started out as such and all ended up the same way.
His writings are pretty interesting though
He wrote a lot on the customs of the tribes that later got wiped out
So does my comandante. Thank you anon.
very rude, im going to north carolina next week and if i see a chicano im going to beat him up and assume its you
When you get the helium tank, you should vocaroo with that high pitched voice.
That always makes me laugh. I think they're going to figure out a way traps can constantly do it to avoid man voice.
>implying the bourgeoisie doesn't live large compared to the average person
>implying countries that started feudal can be expected to become communist without going through industrial capitalist revolution first
>implying those countries weren't state capitalist nations guiding industrial revolutions at incredibly fast speeds never seen before
troll harder desu
Yeah there is, I spent my childhood in Arizona and my teen years in Charlotte and I saw more Mexicans there than in Tucson. Mind you, I don't have a problem with them, but the fact remains that there's a lot.
Mixed market is best market. All """"communist"""" revolutions have been violent uprising by dirty peasants led by a crafty middle class merchant trying to improve his power. Marx believed communism should happen through peaceful means like voting. Of course that's never happened though.
I've read a lot of the Spanish writings from the period and the Portuguese writings about India and the East African Coast
I think more people should read them, they're pretty cool
It depends on your aptitude for Asian languages. Overall the pronunciation is extremely challenging, but the grammar is absurdly easy.
