/thirdworld/ general: superpower edition
welcome: future superpowers, countries with goat cultures
not welcome: burgered countries, oil rich wastelands
>do you have a goat culture?
Yes, they have lots of Goat fuckers in the Netherlands.
You're also projected to be a world power by 2020 and we all know how that is working out.
>welcome: future superpowers, countries with goat cultures
>89% of the BR population make less than the American minimum wage
>government changed the definition of middle class
>now if you make the BR minimum wage (220 dollars/month) you're considered middle class
I could talk all day about the shit the government "redefined" to make things look good. I wouldn't be surprised if they just changed the definition of superpower to put us in the list.
There's a trade war going on. Americans are dumping their overproduced substandard agricultural products on other countries far below production costs and if they refuse to accept the dumping their exports get banned from America.
Free Trade is a myth.
The geopolitical situation that leads to the outbreak of the long-feared global nuclear war was prompted primarily by the onset of a worldwide energy crisis when the supplies of fossil fuels finally began to run out around the year2050.
The result of this energy crisis is an increasing scramble by all of the advanced, industrialized nations to secure the few remaining supplies of untapped petroleum around the world. Ultimately, a series of military conflicts driven by this hunger for natural resources consumes the planet.
As theUnited Nationstried with little success to keep the peace, many of that organization's member-states pulled out, and the United Nations was disbanded. Next, following the breakdown of trade talks and the unilateral American exploitation of the world's last newly discovered reserves of crude oil, theChinese invadeAlaskain2066in pursuit of the state's remaining oil reserves.
The United States retaliates against the Chinese by launching its own costly invasion of the Chinese mainland in2074to reduce Chinese pressure on the Alaskan front. Despite initial costly setbacks, this strategy proves successful and American forces liberated the Alaskan city ofAnchorageand forced the ChinesePeople's Liberation Armyto retreat entirely from American soil in January 2077. This victory was largely won due to the more advanced military technology developed by the United States during the conflict. Many smaller nations went bankrupt in the ensuing conflict as their economies collapsed due to the increasing shortage of fossil-fuels. The Resource Wars ended with the Great War in 2077.
yeah nice plot, only problem i have with that is:
- energy efficiency by 2050
- renewable power sources. eg solar power farms in the desert that transform sea water in hydrogen.
- Antarctica. an entire continent of untapped resources.
Do you know why we're called third world? Because in the solar system, the third world is Earth, which means we're all Earthlings. The so-called first worlders are invaders from outside our world, just look at their history, they invade, they pillage, they destroy our culture, they are alien of our country! They do not belong in Earth. Death to first worlders.
And now that I think about it, there's something like that on NV, but take into account that highly developed countries consume a ton of energy, especially if you're running out of fossil fuels. You'd need a solar power plant the size of an entire country
