Speaking several languages usually takes time.
Interests in gepolotics aren't exactly widespread among the younglings.
Traveling requires money and this usually comes later in life.
They are some teens here of course, but in lesser proportion than /v/ or /pol/ for example
you are forgetting all of the posters in the generals, they are part of /int/ too, do you think a lot of brits hiding in /brit/ come here to discuss "language geopolitics and cultures"? obviously not
Okay I got it.
Well I mean even the regular banter do imply some knoledge . even the polandball comic sometime make reference to specific events or geopolitics.
Ffs I'm not saying /int/ is a refined place for clever analysis. But on overall the interests that drive people here are not exactly those of the youngest.
Compared to /b/ /v/ or /pol/ I think my point stands.
bro most posters don't come here to discuss these things
they go to their generals like
and discuss /b/ tier stuff simply to be with their countrymen
this is 90% of the board population
Indeed you are right
As both of you pointed, the board isn't a geriatric house, thank you for your precision.
I think we can all agree that the board, while still relatively young, is slightly older than the average on 4chan.
Anyhow apart.of some maymay like DST and liberal muslim lover cucks, I didn't find most of the retardation you usually see on /pol/
But again I do not browse those generals.
Thete was a thread about a year ago where people posted some info, including age, it had a couple hundred response. I wrote them all down, assuming most people were honest the average age of the /int/ poster was 27.5
There were a surprisingly large amount of people in their 30s and even a couple in their 40s.
I am 31 Tbh but somewhat retarded and stunted due to weird life so my social age is closer to 21.
safely to be considered not representative since how many surveys will can a person honestly do, they literally come up almost every day
most of them if choose to do these datamining things will tell you they are all college age 20 somethings because they all complain about tests and classes and so forth
there are resident elders 30+ but there is only a handful just enough to count off of one hand
