Okay fine. My parents are basically diplomats so I've constantly moved around the world all my life but now that I'm out on my own I live alone in Germany. I am level 5 german and I was level 7 Italian before I realised how much I disliked Italy. The only language I really want to learn is Finnish but that is not going to get a course for ages and I doubt it would be as effective because the grammar is so different.

I left Germany at the age of 4 so my German is quite shitty because my parents only spoke English/French with me so I could begin school in the country that we lived in at the time. But I rarely have used French in the past 10 years so now my French is shitty as well.

I've recently returned to Germany to begin my own life and learning German is a major obstacle that I need to overcome beforehand.
