The way I see it most people don't want to get drafted because it fucks them over. You see, we dropped conscription in 2004 (I think), and then it got reinstated last year all of a sudden. No warning or anything. If you're over 18 and under 26 you get to join that special club. The fuck are you talking about. C/C++/C# mostly share the same syntax with minor differences. The only real difference is libraries. Databases are easy as shit. ASP.NET is just C# + xml for webs. I've been working with these for over 7 years now.
I also do java and objective-c for apps. I also know COBOL but I never really use it for anything anymore.

Exactly. C++ is C with classes. The syntax is still the same mostly, C++ just extends it a bit.
