How many times a week do my fellow /cum/panions get drunk?
I seem to have a harder time remembering sober nights than drunken nights. Also looking for whiskey recommendations in the $10-$15 range that doesn't taste like shit
>TFW GF leaving for another country tomorrow and we'll probably shift to being long distance friends
I need a gf and job quick... should I just get a shitty low wage job and get enough money to move to a place with more career opportunities or should I look for a good paying job in my field in a field I want to have a career in.
Was thinking of going to the mall, getting applications to all the stores worth working at and flirting a bit with some people. I'm socially good and probably about a 7/10 who knows how to dress.
the flags can't transfer boards
I've seen them move threads from /int/ to /pol/ before and /trash/ is supposed to have threads moved to it but I think its just furry porn at this point
>not just owning the MGS collection in 2 discs
Was it mandatory in your middle or high school to read Brave New world? It wasn't in the homeschooling programme I was enrolled in. Only now am I disappointed, as I wish I had read this earlier.
Most required reading was played on a tape or a cd over a speaker while the English teacher graded papers so you didnt miss much.
>tfw discovering lord of the flies for the first time
>Most required reading was played on a tape or a cd over a speaker while the English teacher graded papers so you didnt miss much.
Are you fucking serious?
That is a failure of the education system on so many levels.
No it was usually only ten pages and a small quiz that you couldnt fail because the answers are in the text book so you can check to see if they are correct. I honestly don't believe you can fail American Highschool unless you have some illness.
Born into a family of Chiefs fans, think we might actually pull it off this year?
Yesterday was the first time the Chiefs won a post-season game since 1994. They have not won an actual playoff game (not wildcard) since 1982. I'm pretty sure the city will burn down if the Royals and Chiefs both win respective championships in the same season.
In my school you had to write a senior paper if you wanted to graduate. The following year they replaced that with a senior project.
How was it? It's on my backlog and I've been meaning to read it for some time now.
iirc, all noteworthy I was required to read in the aforementioned programme was Ulysses & some of Edgar Allan Poe's poems & short stories. Shame that I'm only getting around to other works of literary importance now.
I literally made a diorama of super mario kite runner complete with donkey kong bad touching baby luigi as a project in english
was okay I guess although most deep literature flies over my head
>super qt who used to work comes through
>she goes to another shorter line
>look up from my register
>catch her mirin
>she quickly looks away when she sees I've found her out
I might just make it boys
>tfw dad is obese and is still able to cheat on his recent wife with teenagers
>listening to him fuck a girl from your class while you visit for xmas
Ask a guy who lost his virginity 4 night ago anything
That's just depressing.
1. I don't cheat
2. How the fuck can an ugly fat 50 something fuck girls that young
3. What kind of low self esteem do you need to have to fuck a guy who could be your father as he cheats on his wife
this is one of many reasons missouri is an awful place
>tfw no Jewish gf
>tfw can't drink on SSRIs
>tfw parents don't understand my literary lifestyle
Tell me your feels, /cum/
I'm going to give /cum/ a 7.3/10
Daily reminder that the Denver Broncos are going to win the superb owl
>can't drink on SSRIs
Yeah you can. I did it for years, you just have to be a little more careful depending which one you're on. I remember Prozac tending to give me blackouts more often. Benzos are the only one you can't drink on, and even then you can just not take them for that day.
I really hope people keep downplaying the Patriots this week.
Smoking is bad for your lungs anon so you should stop.
>acting like smoking is some grown up mature le manly man thing
>mfw after fapping to rape porn
Even though it's clearly fake I feel disgusted.
I really need to build this relationship like Trump is gonna build the wall, but I have no idea how. If I don't do something, I'm gonna end up being an orbiter and I'm sure my alpha friends will look down on me.
>those parts where you have to check there gender
>surely this is a woma-
Oh god I didnt need to be reminded of the flying roach swarms. It was like the cloud and they were all over me. There was nowhere to go. :(
meanwhile, I got bit in the hand by a flea and in the process of trying to kill it discovered there were like 10 on my pants
I'd literally been back for 15 minutes and there were none in my car, so somehow I got 10+ fleas on my pants (specifically there)
every piece of cloth in my room is in the washer right now and every other surface got hit with flea removal spray, I just got out of the shower
it was horrible
I'm going to kill my roommate's dog
LAST WEEK YOU ALL SAID THE PACKERS FACING THE REDSKINS WOULD BE THEIR END
I own three dogs and they're all free of fleas. The problem is your roommate.
>The problem is your roommate.
Well, the dog is allergic to medication or something, but my roommate is also not capable of being responsible for another living being. His girlfriend and I conspired at various points for one of us to distract him while the other dumped the dog in Navasota or something.
Also the neighbor's dog is probably the source of the flees, his owners are dindus.
That's dumb and kidnapping a pet is a crime. Just use Frontline or something.
The dog is basically constantly on one sort of medicine or another for the fleas. Problem is, my roommate's a poorfag and (like I said) the dog's allergic to something or something else.
It hasn't been my problem but if this happens again it will be.
And it's not a crime if we send him to Animal Rescue.
8:34 PM on the Best Coast.
How are Canadians still alive?
>It's 3c here
He shouldn't own a dog is he can't take care if it desu
Also, some animal shelters euthanize dogs.
Read this... makes sense to be desu
20 and don't have the qualifications to get into Uni. I would need to go back to college(this is like a school where people who didn't behave well in school go to to get their a-levels)
All in I'd be about 26 by the time I get to uni
Easiest way in is to learn a trade, friend. They're always going on about how we need tradesmen.
Plus they make a decent living, starting at $30/hr as a journeyman for most trades.
> Robotnikinin inhibits the induction of the Shh pathway. The discovery of robotnikinin has provided a powerful small molecule probe of an important signaling pathway involving a step in the pathway not previously accessible to small-molecule modulation. Robotnikinin will be especially valuable as a probe of diseases associated with aberrant Shh pathway activity.
Just the fact that this is about autism... I can't stop laughing
It's not like a clarification was needed.
I wouldn't. It's real hard work for not enough pay and a lot of it is being automated and/or the work is being done by immigrant workers who are willing to work for peanuts, or people who get their family to work their farms for free.
The Laughs keep coming
>Autism makes you seem cool and deep in high school
· The Laboratory Technician is expected to have a high school education or equivalent
· Must have a grasp of basic mathematics, and, in the opinion of the hiring authority, must be trainable in the practical aspects of the job
· The Technician must be physically able to do the work required
can i put my bachelors or lie and say i only have an associates, i dont want to seem overqualified, considering ive applied to a ton of lab positions with my BS who ask for just a HS diploma and they never get back to me
>a white person wanting to become a farmer
it's pretty tough work desu, I feel like you have to be raised on a farm since there's just so much you have to know. You could work as a hired hand and see if you like it though, I think there are a couple of organizations that deal with working on farms internationaly
I think I'm just going to go to bed at a normal time because I have no chance of falling asleep in 30mins
I had some friends who have parents parents who are farmers tell not to do even bother getting into it. The only reason they will continue farming is because its the family business. Apparently cattle farming is the worst
You can always give it a shot if that's what you really wanna do. Nothing saying you can't work an easier, better paying job, and use your free time and money to realize that dream on a smaller scale, though.
There aren't enough trees to do that in Iowa but you could get close to that lifestyle
The guy I know did it because he wanted that lifestyle and he got it
If you didn't want to live like that it seems horrible but he loved it
Farms out west are relatively cheap compared to back east
I have relatives with a cattle farm in Florida and there is no way they would have the land if there grandparents hadn't bought it
That's nonsense. Plenty of famous people are late bloomers. Paderewski waited until his 20s to devote himself to piano and he became a world renown virtuoso in his day. You just need character and motivation. I saw plenty of older folks at community college. A 28-something chick was going for nuclear chemistry; one of my friends in his early 30s dropped out of a PhD program at UPenn to pursue software engineering (no kidding).
Would you really need 6 years to fill your general requirements? That sounds like an exaggeration. At a USian community college, you take a placement test and they show you which courses you require depending on your placement.
And, you know, you don't have to go to college, necessarily. Maybe you should learn a skill at a trade school. You can make as a shop-machinist about as much as some engineering jobs do in the office.
cute girls > cute boys
how is this even a question?
Yeah I can only imagine, the hardest part is getting that first job out of college. Just keep applying and looking, there's bound to be something eventually. I know so many people struggle with this. Even coming out of grad school it can be an issue sometimes
It's not that. Hiring an overqualified candidate can be an issue because it's difficult to retain workers that are qualified for better paying jobs.
Don't thank me, go follow your dreams.
Speaking of farms, my gf's dad has a really big ranch here in Mexico and my gf is an only child. I'm no gold digger but that looks really good.
I'm starting to feel sick due to being awake again.
awake sickness I guess I'd call it
gonna go try to sleep
fine, cute boys for some, cute girls for others
i'm just saying cute girls are objectively better is all desu
Yeah, I have a friend who majored in biochem, she has been looking for work for a while, now just getting certifications hoping that something will pan out.
I have another friend who majored in Electrical Engineering, also out of work for 5 months so far... he had interning experience and everything.
My sort of gf spent 3 years looking for a job, finally said fuck it and is going to med school in Grenada
I'm here, wasn't stem, but still, I don't get why it's so hard to find work
It's really tough out there... almost feel like i'd have been better off if I had just worked retail or something for 4 years instead of college
