I have nothing against the Ukrainian people, but having a whole bunch of them immigrating here would be a pain. Not nearly as bad as shitskins, but still really annoying, just look at the Poles/Bulgarians etc.

In addition, if I understand it correctly this agreement is the first step towards more cooperation between the EU and Ukraine, and possibly may lead to Ukraine joining in the future. The EU does not need another money-sink, especially one currently in civil-war.

It's mostly a reaction though, to some politicians saying "shit like this can't be decided through a referendum", in other words "shut up and nod".
