Some parts of the city are in better condition than other parts.
Mcmansions are more of a southern thing. Most houses in my area look like pic related.
They don't seem like happy families, if I were to judge by car-Jamal and car-Ahmed squatting in the yard while the lone mother plays with children by the road.

Nah, McMansions are just a modern suburb thing. If you're looking at any suburb anywhere in America built in the 1980s or after, odds are very good the houses there will be McMansions.
But that was a black hood, my polack compadre. This is what a white neighborhood in Detroit looks like.
